Yeah, but what about your white half?

Isn't GE a tribe? There's enough of us! Now I find out that I've been incorrect for the last 40 years. I mean that we're all one big happy family, (GE and all of the First Nations), except that GE doesn't own a casino. How can we change that part? Any ideas?

 

Kenny!! We are 1st Nation Brothers!!! My Grandmom was of two tribes from the Northwest..Wenatchee/Shoshone. Her mother was of the Wenatchee and her father was of Shoshone who took her from her home in a raid from up on the High Desert lands of Washington /Orygun area. Today they are trying to lump all the smaller tribes like the Wenatchee into the Salish Peoples of the pugit Sound!!

I guess we/they were imagrants of a type since their ancestors did come from the land bridge between Asia and Alaska But I am not going fight this issue!! Wenatchee were way to peaceful as they had the abundance of the Columbia River Valley as their ancestral home!! My tutu and her white husband were told to leave the lower 48 in the early part of the 20th Century because of the fishwheel method they used to catch the runs of Salmon and other fish on the river. So they went to Alaska where they continued to live until they came back to Portland Orygun for him to work on the Growing industrys there that is where my Dad was born. She ended up in Baker and never went to any RES as she saw the lives of Reservation people and how it was ruinous to the mind!!

BUT cannot live with hate because of the way the world of this Country changed . That will do no good all people areof the Tribe of HUMAN BEINGS and we of 1st Nation tribes (at lease a little tribal blood running through my veins) should always remember that we are all of the human TRIBE. My mother moved up there a few years ago from S.F., my sister's lived there for 25+ years. Aaaah, maybe next year! And this'll blow your mind: remember that Chinese herbal manual you gave me to see if I could get it translated? I STILL GOT IT! Fuckin' 40 years later, and I still can't find a translator! I coulda learned Mandarin, Cantonese, and Fukien by now, and translated the damn thing myself! Let me know if you want it back, but I do have friends in Shanghai that could probably handle it! I miss 'em both. Don't know where. The three were a blues band and called themselves Ladies at Night. Played regular at the Omnibus. I was there, then. I was the guys that had that big long white '64 Chevy one ton stretch van, it had a New Riders of the Purple Sage logo on the side of it, (N.R.P.S. with a Saguaro cactus) and I was the roadie for the three. Long blond hair, big dude.

I just wanted to welcome you and say hey, Tom. Ranger blows by here not all that often. So, I just wanted to let you know that he's not shining you on or anything, if you don't see a response from him any time soon. It's just his mode.

Love you mentioning all of the bands. What a flashback, brother. Do you recall Roy Rogers? Hee Hee.

It's always a gas to see a new arrival. I know from experience what a thrill it is when you hookup with ones who you shared so much with so long ago and wonder what ever happen to them and if they were happy and healthy.

We are gathering again. More and more almost everyday, soon the circle will be complete and our strenght in unity will once again be in tact. There are so many direction we can go with what we have/what we are.

We are being called as we were called 40 yrs ago. We had biz'nez to take care of. We had laws to change, we had causes to champion and we gave it our all. We did the work that was needed to ignite the flame in ppls souls, a burning knowledge and search for truth and enlightenment. We were but babes, our youth unafraid of the dangers in the nightshade.

We were/are driven by Light of the Divine into our destinies of hope and honor. We recived our karma and used it to change ppls minds. We are back to finish what we started.

Yes, wwe are one big close knit family. As to your question about 'yuor white half' if you recall our time in Paris with Wallace Black Elk you'll recall the discussion about 'What is an Indian?' and the answer that it is much more a matter not of blood as much as heart and culture.The concept of 'blood' being the determining factor is a government invention.
Some will recall CGE was right there supporting our bros on Alcatraz and at Pine Ridge.

 

From what you just said it sounds to me like you married into the Cherokee Nation decades ago. Our local Arizona band of Cherokee has formed a close alliance with the local Celtic Club thier prs being a member of both groups and it's become apparent that most Cherokee have some Scotts heritage and vice versa in this country.
