BTW, she has know idea or clue. This is a surprise conspiracy G.E. party. Tag - she's it. Her place is the new center.

Somebody tell Mouseman and Heather to give a sanction that the reunion IS NOT at their place but instead the official G.E. gathering space is Booth W13.

What a happy thing. It turns out that there is actually going to be a Good Earth Reunion this year after all! How exciting!

Kenny Darling, this is no surprise. I have been checking this site lately. I would love for anybody to come by my booth for a visit. I don't know about official reunion site because I am working most of the time between 11 and 8. We don't get to use our loft this year so my upstairs gathering place isn't happening. We will have a small living room in the back. I can take a break since I am the storekeeper. For those who don't remember me, I lived in Good Earth and with the Downhome Nasties between 72 and 77. I showed up at the Oak St, hearing about a crashpad (at the first Rainbow gathering and met Kenny the first night there. Scorpio Kenny and I have a son, Demian who lives in Arcata (where I live). I was partners with Ranger from74-76 or so. We lived at Oak Street, the White house, above the workshop on Haight St, Page Street, and at Cole and Mcallister. I later moved around just as much with the downhome nasties.
I have lived in California since 72 and now live in groovy progressive Arcata. I manage to merge my hippie identity with being a charter schoolteacher. I have been making tie-dyes since 1980. I was a belly dancer for years but now am quite arthritic and am hoping to have a new surgery called knee resurfacing on both my knees within the next year.
Well anyways back to tie-dyeing. I have a lot to do before leaving for Oregon. Devora

I love it. So, Mouseman was offering camp space, not a reunion at all. So I'm guessing that there is a bunch of public road in front of your booth. Right? A gathering space? A Family Reunion space. Not in your 10 by 10 booth.

Could you make a bulletin board for the middle of the road with note paper and thumb tacks, and make a sign for the top part that reads Church of the Good Earth Family Reunion hook-up. People could write notes with there names and say yes I'm really here. Cool. Thank you. Maybe they could pin up photos of themselves, too.

I know you'll be working. It will be a no host, unsupervised, wing it, hippie trippie reunion. No Hosts, no Leaders, sheer delightful chaos. Do what you like.

We sold more than tobacco in that little shop! Seriously! But for the most part, we were strictly a legit operation, it's just that the atmosphere was conducive to "trading" a lot more than simply tobacco. Do you remember Frank the cop? Kind of short, with dark hair, good-looking Italian guy. He was probably the mellowest cop on the beat, and NEVER gave us any hassles, even when he'd walk by and clouds of dope smoke would be billowing out the door (we had a "dutch" door, and kept the top part open most of the time).

 

Taurus D of the DHNs, You remember Candy(Red Head) Buddys Lady at the time when you were there. Candy Had Cody when she was living there in 74. Happy also says Hello as I spoke to him yesterday and updated him to the info posted here.

Also Terry Lane Called he was up in Portland on a visit getting ready to make his annual trip to the fair. TL was worried about the changing rules and he needs to park his truck. I passed on the re: Mousemans place.

Hey Taurus D did u Know Sharon? I think she has moved (many years ago up to the Arcata or Russian River area. If you do in fact know her and if you are in contact could u please pass on the info to this site so we can connect?

A lot of us aren't making it to the fair this year for one reason or another. I wish that I could be there too. A whole lot of us do. Good Morning My Hippie Family,
These past 12 months have not been good for anyone I know. I hoping the Soltise will bring a change for us all, for the better.

I will not bring you down with the countless barrages of bad Karma that has befallen us. I dont know if it will get better or worse, I am praying for the better

I have been stiffling my emotions trying to be strong. I have almost hermitted myself to keep control. I feel like I'm traped but know that I can slip out if I can get the right head space.

I see the suffering,worry and frustration of trying to stay one step ahead of the grim reaper. It hurts my emotional heart to see one like Zev, Kenny, Mouseman, Cheryl, Ranger.. well everyone that fate has kicked in the ass has been dealing with.. one crisis after another.

Then I see the love that pours in from our brothers and sisters, even in their own drama share their spiritual love and reach out to the other, putting their problems aside and sending loving light.

It evens it out somehow, it makes it bareable, it makes your heart smile.

Life has a way of getting in the way of living. It twists and turns without notifacation and sometimes takes you places you either dont want to go, or dont want to leave once you get there.

We lived hard and not always with wisdom, but always with love. As we grew we learned and as we learned we grew. Without the lessons we learned we would not be who we are today, to be able to understand that time will pass and we will take our final bow on the stage of life and move on to the next vortex of Being, with a certain certiny that our Spirits will contenue.

If there ever were a stronger ppl then we are, I dont know them. These 40 yrs gone by and here we are, our memories restoring our youthfull minds of recolection. reniforcing what brought us together so long ago. The unity that keeps us together in our hearts is beyond time and space. It is Infinity, a radient Circle Of Light that fills every cell with Love.

Maybe we can set a time, since we all cant be at the OCF, to take a few moments and Ommmm for balance in this negitive world, coming together in Spirit to commune once again for peace and our everlasting souls. To open a channel through our higherselves and bring it on.

We have the ability to Cange it, we've done it before and being wiser in our maturity we should be able to focus some energy into what needs the most attention and fix it, like the warriors we are.

I always thought a warrior goes down fighting, beliving in their cause to the finish. We aint finished yet, are we?

As long as they dont change the question we can find the answers together. United we stand.

Wow, I really need to check this place more than every few months.....

I'm a later-era DHN myself....'75 thru '80-something, Page & Cole house with Manny and Michael Mouse, Fell St house with Eden and Ranger and Scorpio Ken and Devorah and an endless cast of folks. Another wanderer who cant sit still, lived all over the world since leaving SF....these days I'm just a few miles down the road from Scorpio Ken, a couple of hours from Ranger and Rita, happy to say I've seen them all within the last year or so. Really need to get to SF soon (hey Eden!), and I will, dammit. With a wife and two girls my travels arent as spontaneous these days, but stopping by here every so often recharges my spirit.

So many pages to scan thru since last visit....if I read it all correctly, Ranger's got a 'puter again and Ken's volunteered to do something with a book or a movie. I'll throw my talents toward any of these ventures, admitting to being a prolific writer, musician, video editor and overall technology and media freak. And I suppose this post is verification that I'm also master of the run-on sentence and stream of consciousness paragraph......

Maybe it was a pretty shitty fair this year and nobody had any fun at all.
