Have fun at the country fair, wish I could make it just once in this life time. Alas, my heart belongs at the gathering and since it is east, I wont be west in time. Blessings on High Luv Vibe's, Peace,

A beautiful, curvey blond Irish lady walks into a casino. She lays 3 grand on one number. The Men dealers think she is drunk.

As she blows on the dice she says " Mamma needs new clothes"
she lets the dice fly and at the same time unzips her dress (zippers down the front) letting it fall, she is wearing nothing under it. She screams " I won, I won!!" while she is running around the table hugging the dealers and pickin up her winnings, she leaves.
One dealer says to the other " Did you see what she rolled?" The other dealer replys " No, I thought you were watching."

    The moral of the story is ;

Not all Irish are drunks. Not all blonds are air heads, and
Men are Men! Nothin gender biased, just the truth. I myself, love men!
    Happy Summer of Love 2010!

Hey Everyone! I haven't been able to get on here for awhile, my computer would lock up everytime. Bev fixed it today. Congratulations to me, I became a Grandpa today! One day after my birthday. My only daughter Emily, had a baby boy named Milo (after that town in Oregon that was for sale because it was a flood zone on the Umqua River- just kidding he's not named after that town. She lives in New Jersey & I'm hoping to get up there soon. My wife has 4 grandkids that call me Grandpa Jack (they call my wife Grandma Jack lol) so now I am a grandpa by blood. I am doing some glass etching if anyone wants something let me know, what ever you want on it I can do. I will have to go back through these last few months to catch up with all of you. We had really bad flooding in Tennessee at the beginning of the month - no damage to our place but Nashville is really bad. 1.9 billion dollars worth of damage. We were trapped at home for 3 days, roads were flooded. 20 some odd inches of rain in 48 hours! I've never seen it so bad! Even the freeways were closed, lots of people died in their cars on the freeways, schools floated down the road & the big aquarium at Opryland Hotel busted & there are pyranna's swimming around the neighborhood, sharks too. Pretty wild! We watched people live on the news being swept away. So anyway I'm back I think.. talk to you all later.

Leo Steve across from mardy. the other two rooms where , you had to walk under the stair, walk through one room to get to the other on left of first room. I forgot the name of the house, if you walk through the yard from Oke Street House, the house in back of it, where White Man, Pisces Bob, Ga Ga, and Steve stacy. Boy that one year that I lived in the Oke Street House was the best time of my life, all the partys, the girl streaking through the livking room. Boy where did it all go. I do traivel, not far, but living good. I did go back to the Oke Street House in 1984, the house was still there, but everybody was gone. no more commune, what happen. I never found out. yo Shills.. well congrats GP!!

Speaking of MILO Orygun that is where my second son Caleb Wolf was born back in 1977. We were living on the other side of the River (not the road side) on Mark Flecks Farm. We lived in our bus at the time. We almost named him Milo!! LOL That town is also the home of "Homegrown Reforestation" a Forest tree planting /thinning/Forest contract Crew that was/is?? a member of the Hoedads Coporative based in Eugene. CONGRATS AGAIN.

FYI for all who have not been on the South Umpqua reciently that little River Road has been rebult and enlarged GREATLY!!! From Cayonville you can now make it to Tiller in maybe like maybe 25 minutes!! Sheila and I made the trip reciently and we were BLOWN AWAY at how the Road had been enlarged!!!

PS been mia for a while and wish ALL the best and may you all love and prosper!!

Everybody seems to be upset about the illegals, but they seem to have it all wrong. It's not the Mexicans that present the biggest threat, it's the Irish illegals! (see Boston, NY, or SF) I mean folks keep saying the country is going Green!!!

    Hey George,
If you lived in the basement and been to Underhouse then I must have run into you a time or two bc I lived there at that time. In 71 I think I was the only permenant female resident then. Gloria was there from time to time but she lived in Canada, Hellen was there too, but she didnt 'live' there either, Barbra hung out but as I recall I was the only one who stayed.. I dont think many women could hang, Underhouse was pretty rough at times.

So many ones would come through, some hungout for a while, some would run like hell ;), me, well that was my home for 4 yrs, me n my boy Jomie. I was totally protected, not many would mess with me on the street.

Of course I know Whitey and GaGa,neither one of em was easy to forget :) I had heard that GaGa had passed, but, I think it was Steven that got a call from him saying he heard he was dead and wanted to let ev1 know he wasnt...lol.

    Hi Shameless,
sorry to hear Ga Ga passed. We probably have met. There was three girls that lived in the Oke Street House, patty, Sunshine, and Tish. You might know them. heres a laugh, Me, Virgo Seve, Leo Steve, Mardy, White Man, and some girl that was staying on the three day crash plan, well we where all smoked up, and watching a captain blood movie, than all of sudden, White Man pulls the girls gown up and off her, and so fast he pulls her pannys off her, than turn and runs out of the room, but before he ran up stairs. I asked him why did you do that, He answered, so I can hang them on my wall, well everybody laughed so hard, that we all most pissed ares self, including that poor girl that was sitting on floor nude. that was one of his bad habits, but He was't to bad. well we where all king of bad, thats why we had the fun we had includings some of the girls that lived there, but you were right, not to many girls stayed there. Thats why it was the most fun I had when I lived there under there, you are laughing, because you were strong. well time to go. typ back and give me a laugh, LOVE GEORGE

Hey Shills, congrats on being a grandpa. We named our first son, "Danny Milo." He was born in the McComber's cabin on Devil's Knob Rd. Cathy and I also lived in the shack behind the Bill White Coop (Homegrown building) for a while. Milo seems to be a popular name.

Cheryl speaking of PICS.........LOL hope all is well Cheryl Sheila also shouts a hi to all who know her and I rarely mention it so HOWZIT from Shewah!!!

Spud Dannys middle name is MILO NICE....How bout that RIVER ROAD? I was so so blown away by it. But a whole lot of other things remained close as to what they were 30-35 years ago.

Spud we also wanted to go up to your old place in AV but Gabe and the young ones were not there as they went to Euguene for the weekend.

Up river was also a tad freaky as the level of the River was much lower than I expected....Shoot I bet the beach at EDR or the Whrilpools has doubled in size now!!!

Looks like the posting has slowed as the spring intails all to get the gardens up and Spring cleaning from the winter.

    Hope all are well.

    Peace and love to ALL

    Hi Sug,
No, no word of either one.. well I think someone mentioned that Painter Jimmy was in Coos Bay Oregon, painting no less. I have ran several googles on Jimmy but to no avail. Last I heard Helen De Felon joined up with a carnie and was running the circut. I miss them.

I remember when Sunshine got Mugged right on our block( Cole St) by a gang of black kids, they hit her in the head with a brick and took her welfare $ and her food stamps. Of course they called Underhouse to take care of the heavy work. Shills, Count, Jimmy and me hit the pavement running.
Jimmy confronted a few of the black guys hanging around the street, The shit hit the fan and the fight was on.

Jimmy squared off with some young dude half his age and they duked it out for about an hr. I was standing back with a brick in my hand over on the corner of Cole and Page, when two black chicks approached me asking what I thought I was gonna with that brick. I told them I was gonna crack anyone in the head that got in my space that was looking to jump my ass. I musta looked serious bc they backed off.

Then there was gunfire.. everyone scattered, but no one was shot, I think it was a warning shot to break it up and get in the wind. Jimmy was pretty beatup, I didnt see the other guy bc he hauled ass when the gunshot went off.

I dont know who all was standing around to make sure it was one on one with Jimmy and the young dude. There were a lot of ppl cluttered around.

    NE one else remember that.

    Blessings

Cakes - your story about Sunshine getting mugged reminded me of a similar incident. My cousin Rose was Breeze's ol' lady. She got punched in the face on Haight Street one day by a young black kid. Breeze - to defend Rose's honor, set up a fight with this kid in the Panhandle down from the Oak Street House. He asked me and Bull (Taurus Larry) to back him up and come armed in case there was any trouble. Bull had a .306 under his army trench coat and I had a 22 caliber pistol tucked in my belt. The black kid brought to of his posse with him. Breeze and the kid squared off and the kid landed a hard right to Breeze's face and that was it - fight over. Me and Bull just stood there in awe - what just happened? I wanted to go over and fight this kid myself, but it was Breeze's fight and I didn't want to show him up (who knows I might have gotten my ass kicked). I was so pissed off. The only thing I'm glad about is that the black kid's friends didn't pull out any guns because me and Bull were ready!
