It's always best to live Outside the city limits.. city rules do not apply.. we have a No Helmet Law, round here. Of course I agree Kenny, Cheryl has always been very cool, funny and a grenerous spirit, mean as a rattler in August, if fooled with but very, very cool Always lovied Cheryl.


Big changes takin' place here on the Farm. Had bad storms, hail, wind and sideways rain, tornados all around us. Took out our back bedroom and trashed the roof. Kitchen damage, floor damage, hallway damage..

Insurance..Thank GOD for it. The insurance adjuster was here yesterday. He said he was gonna cover it ALL!! He's doing the math right now and will send me an email as to what was calculated. New roff yippie, new back room, yippie, new KITCHEN double yippie ( we had just remodled the kitchen a little over a yr ago and it got bad leakage and bubbled up the ceiling) I was ready to flipout, well I did flipout when it happened and my beautiful new kitchen was under 4 inches of water.

 

Wow my pc just went limp on me and didnt let me finish.. good grief.. well, to continue my tale.

It was like there was a wicked curse on us, nothing we did worked.. well the getting er done worked, we got er done but the all Satan's evil little minions came and tore the hell outta it.. Big bummer.. but as they say: There is always a silver lining behind every black cloud. Our silver lining was, we had insurance.

I feel so blessed I had to share it you, my other Family.

holy shit jusy been watching the weather channel and storms in texas was worried bout u all gald u are all alright did the crops get ruined 2 how bout the aniamals if u ever need a break or help let me know will be there

 

Yes Red is the color, It goes with the color of my walls and cabnits. I do have some blue mixed in with it to bring out the blue in my curtins. The floor is molted shades of brown and of course green for the plants and outside the windows. It's like a rainbow

Blessings to you. You are so thoughtful of us all.. how sweet you are.

Yes, we were spared yet again for the hell storms of Texas. It is so F'en awesome to be in the midst of such raw power, booming and shaking the very fiber of your being. My hair stands up on end to collect the energy and I must say I look rather odd with my 23 inches of hair pointing up..lol.

We did get minor crop damage and lost 14 chicks. The wind kinda bent the taller crops over ta one side but hopefully they will straighten up as they catch the sun.

The house got the worst of it. Shingles in the yard and in the fruit trees, rain coming in all under the roof and leakage in several places. Now there is black mold in the back bedroom and getting worse with the humidity. We're fixen to get more rain today and lots of it.. I dont know what we will do if the upstairs falls down on our heads. Wishing the insurance adjuster would get the danged estimate done so we can get it fixed PDQ.

Thank you for your offer to come help. I love you for it. Your a beautiful lady, inside and out. Your welcome to come anytime but we are gonna hire ppl to fix whatever needs fixen. We got a Huge house and nobody wants to just help us do it ourselves. It's a big job.


It was kinda funny when the storm hit, we have a couple of rent houses we rent to family and when the thunder started and ppl started getting the code red phone messages, everyone came running to the big house for shelther. We were all sitting in the living room kinda holding on to one another, rolling with the thunder and jumping outta our skins when the lightening would crash into a tree across the pasture or hit the ground close to us.

The grandbabies started crying when the Hail came down as big as golfballs and pounded the roof and bounced around on the ground beating my flowers into the dirt.

The wind blew through the rafters making such a howling sound it curled your toenails, as the old 120 yr old farmhouse shook. When the window cracked I think we all let out a yell.

The flashing of the lightening and the booming of the horindous thunder faily made the house rock on it's foundation and it seemed as if we were airborne. The wind was blowing the trees over and taking out the tops twisting them right off the trees. There was debree flying everywhere, branches, lawnchairs, garden decorations. Trash cans were knocked over and trash flying in circles all over the yard.

It was quiet an experience to say the least. I now have a solid white streek going down the right side of my head..

We go though several storms every yr, but this one was a doosie. I heard there were three tornados, which had us surrounded on three sides. No one was injured here, but there were a few lives lost in the places when it touched down.

Well that's how things are swinging around here. Hope you all did better then we did.
