Ranger, that is too damn much!!:) Best news in a while. I know that you will be ok now and that when 'it breaks' then the passage is easier the rest of the way home. I know you and Rita are thrilled and overwhelmed by the LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thank you for allowing us to do this for you.

    Zev,
That is not so good of news.. you know I am sending healing energy your way as we speak. I will do some research and will emial you what I find.

Maybe we can have 2012 here. I am tied up with my sister these days helping her get through her chemo, she started another round of 4 months today. We will go back to houston at the end of july for re-staging. So I'm kinda in a time warp.

I would personally love to beat the hell out of that cancer demon. This is a tough one.

I think y'all should come when it ground breaking time, ( that's when the hard work is) heh heh. The best time I think is in late spring when it's still cool out but not cold. We can put the trot line out and catch us some big ole catfish to eat. Earily fall is good too the weather is still good but cooling off from the hell heat of summer.

No tribute needed Zev. Knowing that The Family Lives is all that is needed. Knowing that this little place in the universe has brought glad hearts to the ones here, that it happened and is real. As real as Ranger sitting in the mall with his new laptop.

It's things like that, moments to remember that makes it all worth wile.

    Blessings to you my Brother

We had two beautiful days of summer last weekend. Yesterday it snowed again here in the mountains! I'm trying to decide if this is really spring or have we proceded directly to fall??? This Global Warming (or was that 'Warning'?) has me confused!

    Ranger,

Good for you dude. You Rock. I can remember many years ago, you trying out my old Apple Performa, that time that you came over to my little apartment in the alley off of California and Powel Street. You were loving it then. Now you really have one of your very own. How fine is that? So cool.

I'm just thrilled for you, bro.

Love, Scorpio Kenny & Mary Jo

    hey Ranger;

Glad you're up and running again bro. Now you take pictures of your wares and post them on the net and maybe not have to lug the stuff back and forth to the fleas all the time. Our family wasn't perfect but it was OUR family. We chose it and will keep it going as long as we keep going.
    LOVE

Wow, It's 3:30 in the morning.. the phone just rang and it was a RED Alert.. said a Tornado is headed our way and to get in the basement..wouldntcha know it, we dont have a basement, if we did it would be flooded all the time.

    Hey Zev,
I was laying awake listening to the storm rage and your situation came to mind. IDK if your area has a rehabilitation commission.. texas does..They will help you get what you need to get up and going.. medical bills, perscriptions, training, $$ for tools. It would be worth your looking into. Also SSI, if you will be unable to 'work' due to medical reasons for a year, you may quailify for SSI and medicade. It wouldnt hurt to try and see if you quailify. Medicade will cover three months back for medical.

I would call both places and see what they have available. I have an appt with TRC this coming week. I hoping they will help us upgrade our farm a little. Everything is running by shear will and what we call East Texas Engineering.. bailing wire and duct tape :)

No Tornado yet.. guess it decided not to tangle with me this morning. I do not like the phone to ring this time of the morning, it's never Good news. Now I am up and will have to take a nap later today. I guess that's alright bc it fricken raining again.

I hope the rain didnt take out our garden, too dark to tell yet. We just put out 65 toms 40 peppers the rest are still seeds.. OHH NOO.. my fruit trees are probably bare from the wind and hail.. som beach.. we can replant the gardens, but we cant put the baby fruit back on the trees. My red plums.. my precious.. I'm sure the storm has beaten the blooms off the berries bushes too. Ohh ruination, no jelly, pies or cobblers. This will not make the grandbabies happy.

When dealing with Mother Nature, I guess you take your chances. You can never be sure of the outcome.. There are some things we have no control over. I was hoping that this would be the yr. we caught a break. The weather has been so wierd the past few yrs, it's a hit and miss situation.

It's almost funny, my luck. I plan and prepare, I do the work I love doing. I care for my trees and plants with love and devotion. Then along comes Mother and says oh no you dont and whammo.. five tons of water dumped into the gardens driven by hellacious wind and balls hail.

It must be a Test Of Endurance, a challenge I must overcome. Or perhaps we are not suppose to have more then we need to eat ourselves. I always plan to take our harvest to market or to set up a produce stand to sell what we dont use. Somehow it seems to be that Ms Nature has other ideas. She will only allow us to grow enough for our family and friends.

Hubby plants 5X what we need. Always hoping to make that big haul. He'll plant a half acer of peas and I will tease him about who he's gonna hire to pick all them peas. That's a lotta peas to pick. He's a shelling wizard, he can knock out a bushal an hour.

    Still no Tornado!!

It's been an hour since we got the red alert call, they usually call back with an all clear, still waiting for that. I dont know what else to do but type it out while I'm waiting for the all clear. Everyone else went back to bed. So I hope you dont mind me hanging out till the storm passes.

Hey.. I meant to tell yas that when Mother takes something she leaves something else. Even tho she May have taken the garden out ( dont know that for sure, but from previous experience it's highly possible), we discovered we have 3 pregnant dogs. I am not prepared for 3 litters at once.

I bring the mamma in to have her pups and raise them in the house till I sell them. The past yr we have had one littler after another but never 3 at the very same time. I dont know if I am ready for all the mamas and the puppies. One litter wares me out, but three ohhh myy.

We were suppose to go look at a whelping house to purchase yesterday, but then came the rain. It rained all day, then tonight the bottom fell out and well you know.. tornados.

It looks to me like we're out of the line of the tornado or it sucked itself back up in the clouds, it's been an hour n a half, it only takes 20 min to where the tornado was spotted to here, so, I'm thinking it aint a gonna get us today.

Sorry for takin up so much space and ramblin on like a crazy woman. But a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do. When dayligh breaks I'll letcha know how the gardens and orchard faired.

    Blessing to all of you

Hey hey hey, the sun is shinning and the storm has passed. I lost half my Plums.. I knew I would. The peaches pears and apples are good to go. Still hanging on the the trees limbs :) We were blessed.

The baby chicks are ok, only lost 5. So, all in all we faired the storm well, just a few tree branches from the Oak trees. Whew.. another close call.

    Thanks for listening.

    Thanks for the Love Cheryl,
We were in a drought for several yrs, maybe 12.. the past yr it has done nothing but rain. We usually have our gardens in by the end of febuary but there was no way that the tractor would make it through the 6 inches of standing water hiding the quicksand mud ready to suck off your shoes and swallow them.

I am so happy that you have a place where you can grow your own. It is so much different then the produce you buy at the store. You can actually taste what food is supose to taste like. I would love to hang out wif ya and do some canning. That would be cool.

2012 is when my SS kicks in.. wouldntcha know, it would be the end of the world the day I get my first check..bummer.. lol

Hi all been a while doing a quick check in!

ZEv sending best thoughts.. not sure if you know a few years ago I was diagnosed with lymphoma, (as always my spelling sucks) they said it was at stage 3 wanted to operate and cut out the "Growth" off my plura sac at t-7 t-8 and start Radiation and chemo. It was/STILL is a very scary thing but since I have been through a lot of operations since the fall in 89 when I broke my neck, pelvis, crushed wrist. yada yada, yada I asked/told them (AFTER the PET scan) that I still wanted to wait because the treatment was/is very hard on body and in fact is using poision to cure the issue. Cakes I think you remember that time as we talked a bit about it. After 3 months the growth was actually 2 cm smaller so the oncologist surprised at reduction said that I may in fact be in remission from stage 3 to stage 1 which I can live with. I have chosen to do that. BUT PLEASE do what you need to do just passing on a story about our powers of self healing. Also I was told in 89 I would not walk again. I am walking in fact doing a lot more. So I had already been to the mountain so to speak. I am hoping and sending my thoughts of good things out for you. Zev I am currently in Stage 1 and living with the beast. Whatever you decide just make sure that YOU are the one making the POWERFUL FINAL DECISIONS from your soul! Like I said sending and thinking healing thoughts out your way now too! I truly believe the POWER that flows from all of us can do wonders when channeled to the NEED.

Ranger CONGRATS and ain't it great!!!!! Hope you can get the 12v inverter for the Rig!!

Cheryl still waiting on posting of pics.

Spud Thnks for posting the info about Happys dad. I spoke to Hap on E-Day and in fact just yesterday too. I knew Gaylord Senior, Hap gets a lot of his quick wit and sense of Humor from his pops!! Gaylord senior also was responsible for the Wild Rivers Act. You all may remember when he came out to S.F. back when Hap was living on Cole Street.

Lastly SH/Cakes, Mother Nature still shows us all what the reality of her power truly is. The most powerful!!!! We must always respest her and when you see the Toronado or her other acts it can truly humble us all I am happy she chose to only alert you to her visit and bypassed your place, as she reminded us of her many forms of ULTIMATE POWER to change all we build.

EARTH DAY should be every day and I think most of us know that.

    TC ALL
    Peace/love

Thks Chris for the thoughts. We are all very aware of our mortality in the presence of The powers of Creation. We have been blessed in so many ways. Just to be here in the now is a blessing.

It would be cool if the weather would make up her mind and either declare it be either warm or cold. This morning we woke up to 39 degree weather and rising up in the mid 70s by afternoon. I have no idea how it will affect our crops. We lost 30 or so baby chicks bc of chilling winds in the middle of the night the other night.

Hubby is most discouraged bc of the price of feed to the ratio of surviving chicks. Feeding them a couple of weeks to have that many die is a loss. As cold as it was this morning I'm afraid to ask him how many we lost last night :(

Well that's what's kickin in my neck of the woods.

    Cherly,
You are welcome to come with your family anytime you like. I was kidding about the work stuff, hubby does that with the tractor and tiller. I help plant, weed and pick. I do all the canning/preserving and pickling. I take care of my orchard, berries and grapes, plus my flower gardens.

I wish the weather would straighten out so I can get out there earilier. I'm a morning person and get up real earily. I get my computer stuff done and head on outside to get my hands in the soil but it's too damn cold to mess with. There's not really much to do right now.

All the seeds and plants are in the ground and the weeds havent had a chance to show themselves yet, so, I just make my rounds troubleshooting the gardens till I see something that needs my attention.

I have an immediate need that has to be taken care of PDQ. I have 3 mamma dogs that are damn near ready to deliver.. ohh myyy.. 3 of them. I usually bring the mamma in to have her pups and raise them in the house till I sell them but 3 at a time is just too much!! I cant/wont do it. I just got rid of the last pup from the last mama 5 weeks ago and I had puppies one litter after another for almost a yr. I do not relish the idea of 3X that running all over my house.

We went looking for a protable building to turn into a whelping house but they want like 2,000 for an 8x10.. hubby said too much and will most likely build it himself. He had better put a giddyup on it cuz them mammas are real close.. egads..

    Hey Kenny,
I was wondering what you do.. you mentioned silver and turquose, do you make stuff and if so have you checked out our GE store. You are welcome to post your wares there brother if you have a mind to. It would be cool to see more of our crafters put their work up in The Good Earth Crafters Emporium, in the Hip Stores section.

    Oh Zev,
I hate this for you. My sister did radiation and is now back on the chemo. I hope it works for you. All I can say is disasociate your self from it, dont make it your own. Let it pass through you like light passing through glass.

Start eating asparagus, eat them till you cannot eat them no more, drink RED CLOVER TEA 3 cups a day, consume mega doses of Vitamin C and eat protien.. If you want to keep the 'sick' off, juice fresh parsely and drink it before your treatments. It's cheap, use about a half a bunch..it comes in bunches, juice enough that it makes about two table spoons, mix in 1/4 cup of water and drink it. It taste like parsely and makes you feel great.

I'm glad you dont have to have the surgery, you need that mouth. It's your bread and butter. I'm sending up prayers for you daily as I do for my sister.

Bright Blessings Zev and much loving energy

    Hey Cheryl,
You know it's happening all over, wierd shit goin' down.I never know what to think anymore, so many 'theories' on what Could happen or what so n so thinks is happening. I am hoping nothing will happen.

The signs are pretty strong that there is change about. I hope it's not cataclizmic, if it is, I further hope I'm the first to go so I wont have to watch my loved ones suffer.

But ya cant spend your time worrying about tomorrow and just live in the present of Now bc there is nothing we can do about it if/when it comes. Just gotta show all the love you can today and shine sister shine

    Love ya

    Hey Zev,

God bless you brother. I’m praying for you, and I have some pretty good connections. I’m sure that you have some family upstairs, too. We WILL, see you get through this.

Think, Flying Colors. Lots and lots of FLYING COLORS. Maybe even buy a prism and use it. Because that is how you are going to get through this. “With flying colors.”

May the Force flow through you, Love, Scorpio Kenny

P.S. If some change could help out. Say something. Have Cakes make it official. She's a great shit starter. Hurray!

P.P.S. Ever think of moving to California for a medical Marij pass?
