    FYI.
I knew a guy who smelled gas in a dark basement and lit a match to find the leak. That destroyed my families summer place in the Catskills.

I have a great "match" story. But I'm reluctant to tell it here in the forum because of the legal nature of it. Someone remind me to tell the "match in the tank story" at the reunion this summer. Some of you may have already figured out what I'm talking about.

First off, hey Kenny. Glad to see you found us here, brotherman.
Second, sorry 'bout my absence fam folks. Been busy doing a lot of hurry up and wait kind of shit that's par for the course in this crazy ass business I'm in. The July thing sounds amazing. I hope I am in the right place at the right time to get away to the right place to be at the right time I should be there.

My love to all and Mouse, so happy your back on the bridge steering the ship.

Hey Bill. Good to see your smiling face. How the heck are you, brother. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yeah, if the galaxies in my universe are spinning in the right direction in July, I too hope to break away from the stuff and perhaps get introduced to Mouseman's lovely associate. And just plain hang with the gang. Its been a trillion years.

They were saying that you are the super film guy. I don't have a clue. You'll have to fill me in on that, sometime. That sounds like it might be jamb packed with a million and one war stories. I'd love to check in with you sometime. Any thing on-line that I might check out? Or résumé or something?

Anyhow, I'm in a big city southeast of Ranger and Rita. They're 120 miles away and I haven't managed to go see them, in 6 months. I hope I can get it together to get to Oregon. Maybe we'll hook up and go. who knows.

    Have FUN you all, Kenny

    Match storys!! lol SPUD!

Danny did you remember the VW Bus that Buddy used to have for a while? Hit and Run used to load up in that thing for gigs. One day (evening) after he had picked up the kids as he left my place he smelled gas and thought that he may be able to see what was wrong. That road was NOT a good place to be broken down, log trucks etc. on the Tiller River Road just below my place there (the one where Scoop lives in now). He opened the rear hood on the VW Micro bus and lit a match so he coulds see if there may be a leak or maybe a loose belt and the engine caught fire!!! Cody and Ryland and Beenie were in the VW at the time. Buddy was able to get the kids out of the VW and was able to push it off the road there as there was the slight downhill grade and the VW BLEW SKY HIGH! The burned out shell sat there on the river road for a month or two!! I had forgotten all about that!!! Smell gas...light a match to see where it is comming from......NOT GOOD IDEA!!!

Well Spring has sprung and SUMMER//july right around the corner!! Hope we can all meet up!

    peace/love

    Hey Cheryl,
The weather is crazy here in the upper 70s one day and snowing two feet the next. My Orchard was miraculously saved somehow, all the trees are bloomed and setting their fruit, keeping fingers crossed bc we always have a freeze a few days before Easter.

Looks like a late garden for us. There's a foot of water ( I refer to as Lake Clanton) covering the garden spots. It's been so wet you cant get the tractor in to turn the soil, cant use the tiller either cuz ya sink in the mud and lose your shoes..

I glad to hear you are gardnening, it pays for itself..well.. except you time, you never get time when ya work for yourself. Dont be sad over things you cannot change. One has to make the changes in ones own self and that is all we can control ourselves.

    Blessing to ALL

This is driving me nuts! Since our van died I can only get to the library and on line once or twice a week and then the time is limited. I use most of that time trying to read and catch up.
Mouseman, count Rita and I in for the Fair... Etc. We should be getting another van this week. I can still do security if needed. Devorah said we could stay at her spot as an option.
As to bands, I can reach Paul Kantner, and Big Brother and maybe a few others if need be, just let me know.

Kenny, if ya'll are going to drive maybe we can carravan (sp?).
    Anyone else out this way?

Love ya'll and hoping to see ya this summer, Ranger & Rita

    Hey Family,
Can we get together a computer for Ranger&Rita. Ranger is the one who contacted most everyone and brought them here, as he had their email addys. He is a warehouse of imformation on family history and needs access to a computer. He wont ask but I will. So, I'm askin'. Or we could take up a collection so he could get a used one. Internet service is like 14$ a month for me and I'm sure he can get it as cheap. A friend of mine bought a new laptop at wal mart for 300.

If we all chipped in a 20 or so, I think there's enough of us to cover it. I'll pledge my 20. Can I get a YA on this. If ya cant afford 20, send whatcha can.

Personally, I have missed Ranger. He has been here for yrs helping hold the fort down till everyone arrived. He contaced everyone he could and they came. He stayed in The Haight till just a few yrs ago, when he found his ladylove Rita and went to her. He needs some family love :grouphug:

    Blessings

    Hi Cheryl,

I think that the match stories are, maybe, bad luck. ???? Pardon me for living in fairyland with the elves, but I think that positive brings more positive. Generally. When I was thrown in to jail I cracked up laughing. Everything did come out alright. It's only life. Laugh at it.

    Things always get better.

May you be deluged with way too much good stuff all of a sudden. Until you go out of your mind with acid giggles. I'm sending the energy, my sister. Deluge!

I hope that it all comes to you soon.

May all Love surround you. Kenny
