The Moon Rocket soars once again.

Damn, Mouse (and the rest of ya) listen to your bodies. I know this sounds strange coming from me considering my reputation (and my moniker of daze gone by) but the best way to avoid healthcare costs is to avoid healthcare. My love to you all, and hey Mouse, I am aware that some conditions nail us no matter what we do for prevention.

    Love you all so much.

    Chris,

No we have not moved yet. We are still looking for a 2 - 5 acre mini-farm around the Ashland, Talent, Phoenix area. I got your email and will see what publications are available. Cathy looks at listings online everyday and we have a realtor who is on the lookout for us also. I'd like to be back to the land this spring.

    Heeey everbody!!
Sorry I've been out of touch for so long; still down here in La Paz Mexico, and fuckin'A still alive!! Getting better, but it seems to take longer now days. Thanks to all, again for your love & support. I intend to be more active here; with recollections from the past. I mean, shit!, we're "Legends in Our Own Minds"; at least we should share with each other what we remember, while we still can remember!
Like, how about that time (those times) when there came a ruckus from out on Cole st. fairly late at night; whole lotta cheering and hoopin' and hollerin'. I goes outside to see just what the f#*k, and there at the top of the street (by Page st.) is a line up of "procured" wheel chairs and the folks from "the Under House" mounted up and ready. The flag (rag) was dropped and the race was off!! Down the hill at unreal speeds (for wheel chairs) they shot! Fighting to keep control some lost it and flipped over when hitting the curb; the crowd went wild!! The checkered flag (had there been one) was to go to the first wheel chair to make it across Oak St.and not be hit by cross traffic. Amazingly, no one was hit! What fun!! Let's do it again! So they were trundled back up the hill for the next heat. The spectators were increasing as the competition mounted. Then.... the pig showed up and spoiled the whole night.
    Till next time,
    Mouseman

Too Funny. I remember it well.. The roar of the crowd the screeching of tires and the metal against bone as they collided, some bruises and a few stitches here n there but no real damage.. it was all in fun.. the games boys will play. Like the potato gun fight on forth of July That was also Under House and the whole Oak St corner.. on both sides!! They were on the roof and hidden in doorways, Boom Boom the potato gun goes.. mashed taters any one. Firecrackers popping everywhere, bottle rockets whizzing by.. Duck!! Ops.. sorry.. Oh what fun we had.

    Bright Blessings

The 4th when the whole neighborhood seemed to be having various forms of fireworks fights. Eden Juaquin Switch and I were headed home from sonewhere and as we passed the corner of Oak & Cole Tarus Larry and some of the gang were dropping strings of ladyfingers on the heads of passers by on Cole from the roof of the White House. we decided this was a little unfair since their victims had no way to retaliate, so we went home and returned armed and ready to escalate the situation.:D with our handy Whamo Wrist Rocket we launched M80s from the cover of the trees in the Panhandle which easily got Bulls attention! It also got the attention of the boys over at Park Station! They rolled up wanting to find out who had the big guns they were hearing all the way over at Fort PS. They were cool. "Take it home and put it up!" said they.....

Well, I had a burn hole in the back of my jeans where a bottle rocket hit me in the ass, but I had to admit it was a large target and hard to miss...lololol. Also someone threw a string of lady fingers into the window and right into my lap.. another burn hole in my jeans and a little powder burn on my thigh. That was a bit careless bc Jomie was standing right next to my legs and I had to Leap up and hold him high so the he would not get hurt as my leg burned.

We survived with no perma damage. We seemed to have survived a lot through the years, through the laughter and through the tears. It has to come together some time and some place to continue the survival of the human race

We carry on, come rain or shine through the discusting and into the Divine. Never knowing what tomorrow will bring, we sit in a circle and begin to sing, our song of older times in our ring.

The things we did yesteryear, with all our dreams and our fear. We banded together and became as one, that time itself has not undone. The things we learned from our past has kept us together and will always last.

Here's to us my brothers and sisters in hand, let's break out the wine and start up the band. We'll sit benieth the moon so full, pass a few and shoot the bull. dance till dawn while the bagpipes blow remenising about things from long ago.

These forty yrs have come to pass and we are still going strong, we were made to last.
The ones that are gone have just went ahead, to make sure that when we get there we'll have a bed.

Our Spirits are still as young and free as they were and we were able to see beyond the blur of the mind expansion of the very first kind, leaving all the plastic bullshit behind. We leaped in consciousness ahead of our time to find the reason behind the rhyme.

We traveled our roads and built our homes, we busted our ass's and even some bones. We raised our families in a loving way, teaching them right from wrong throughout the day.

We teach them to plant and reap what they sow, we watch them as they learn and grow. We want them to have a better way, that's why we faught so hard back in the day.

So, here we are our merry band, altho we are scattered across the land, we are still united in our hearts and minds as well, seems liked we walked together through hell but we made it to the otherside and most of us came out alive.

Give Joyous voice one n all, we heeded the message we came when called, we never let our family down yet, we'll be right there you can bet.

It means so much to see us all here, laughing it up and sharing a tear, but tears of gladness is what I see, LOVE innertwinning our family tree. A jolly band of misfits, together we stand, our love light shinning across that land.

    We still got it ;)

    Bright Blessings Family
