I had alsmost given up on remebering Dave's name. It's probably a product of nostalgia, but I don't think I've ever had better fish and chips than his. Even in London they didn't compare. Maybe its because it was rare that I could afford them.

Happy Holidays to all my brothers and sisters. Lately I've been wondering if we could come back together again and this time learn from our mistakes and misteps of the past. A retreat sonewhere where the door was always open to the family. A Good Earth Foundation and Home. Just a thought.

HAPPY DAYS TO ALL funny the only christmas i remember was the one when we sold the trees at the hole in the wall but cant even remeber if we had a tree at the house. hope eveyone is warm and well fed this season.Getting ready to move out of the condo to a bigger place yeah a yard and garden space again everything is everywheres here cant even find my winter pjs, the car was frozen on the inside this morn ahhh,and this is the south wtf.hope all is well with yall

I remember selling trees in the Lucky Supermarket parking lot on Haight Street. We had a tree in Oak Street that we decorated with strung popcorn and old fashioned ornaments. i don't think we had a menorah.

I remember while selling trees, I was sitting in my van at the lot when the cops drove up. They asked me for my license and registration which I realized I had left at home. I asked them if they wanted me to go get my IDs and they said yes. So I drove off, went back to Oak Street, got my IDs and came back to the lot. When I got back they were gone. When Ii saw them a few days later I asked them how come they didn't wait for me to get back. Their reponse was "YOU CAME BACK?!!!" I said yeah I'd rather look for you than you look for me.

Merry Christmas to all. Shills howdy, when were you arrested in Ithaca? Where are you now? I live in Manlius just out side of Syracuse New York .we're going on a road trip to Iowa ,Neb, Colorado, New Mexico be back late Jan,we have a green house bussiness we grow every thing we sell annuals, perennials ,mums ,poinsettias trees and shurbs Been growning for ten years great life, married have kids ,grandkids i stay busy. had a nice party last night good friend, good food, good spirits. Have a merry .

 

Happy Merry! I remember the Christmas trees and the firewood. The Dirty Dozen cut the wood up around Ash Valley and shipped via rail to San Franscisco.

Another year has passed and the site has grown in numbers of folks who found the site. May the new year bring even more to the site to re-aquaint!

It has been 40 years this season since I spent my first Christmas on the road as a young traverler. It was in the COLD SNOWY Mountains above PV where some folks from a very tiny enclave of Homes saved me from the Snow and probally from Freezing. I thank them every season as I have had a WONDERFUL LIFE. I truly hope all have something to be thankful for and if we can help a brother or sister out this Season!

As Mother sleeps covered in a blanket of snow and the wintery wind doth blow ye winds in our path, we snuggle warmly beside the fires of time.

This same fire that stired us into movement and purpose, we came as children and grown into ourselves as adults.

We are rich with love for one another as we joyfully announce the coming of the New Yr. We have traveled a long while to get here, still some are on their way.

We share something that has glued us together, something bright and real. It started in one millinium and carried over into the next. We are of One Mind, we are the Body and Soul of what transpired, without our shinning light it would have never been.

We have that and the fact that we are still what we were so many years ago. A Family.

Cheryl, remember me in that play at CCSF lo so many years ago? It was you and Annie and Erika that put me on this path. Don't know if that's good or bad but it was damned well worth it to have your adoration.

well another year above ground sure do miss those new years eve dead shows tho never remeber how i got home but always made it sad now i have to tape the ball dropping never make it that late anymore but then i did have alot of help staying awake. yes bill i remeber the play and u also started me on my path in horiculture haha. Well what the hell its 17 degrees here in the supposed deep south. The condo is half packed cant find anything hopefully will be moved in a month Erika starts back to class on Wed she already big as a watermelon baby due in July. Sahalie wakes me up at 5 and i say your up and she says no that a country (europe) i say no your up she says it again then grandma you need to get up and make coffee so much for days off. Those of u with children to claim on taxes the credit went up 2000 more and now u can claim up to three kids part of the recovery act next year im off to the yucantan for a couple of weeks Erika wants to go to disney world got one word BYE hopefully sahalie wont want to go to the ruins with me it will be my luck that she does she already love all that anicent history stuff i watch and read right now i'm reading her tales of King Arthur,and of course it will be my fault if she wants to go with me i can hear Erika now well u teach her all that stuff u take her. Sheila and I are having to answer all the questions for Tiller (now he is 30) as to why does Phoebe (our granddaughter) do the things she does. We also take care of her all the time and it seems very easy???? Guess somethings you just never forget!

Both Tiller and Meghan are amazed we had three children by the time we were 24. AND did it while living all over and in a bus etc.

Sometimes they say that they cannot believe that we did it and we just laugh! Remember how many kids we all had around us all the time!!

Well just enjoy....and play the CSNY song Teach your Children as you help with the Grandbaby. You are doing good Cheryl!

Glad to see everyone made it through the holler daze, fun was had by all..cleanup was a breeze and we all recovered from our food coma.

Hubby brought me home about 25lbs of assorted beads last week.. turquouse mostly.. I've made 14 necklaces, sold two already. I will post them in our store, if anyone is interested in seeing them.( well that is as soon as I figuar out how to get them in my new HP.. My old one ya could just plug your camera into but this new one is different... spent all that $$ and they didnt even send an instruction book :O. I will pursevere..

It has been the coldest weather in 25 yrs in NE Texas.. our hot water froze up for the past few days but is thawing now, we were lucky no pipes busted up. Our pond is froze over but I wouldnt try iceskating on it like hubby suggested

Everything is settling back down, back to the same ole same ole, loading wood on the porch and keeping the fire fed, to cold to do anything else but snuggle up close to the fire and make neckles's ( betcha thought I was gonna say something else heh heh)

Hey Chris and Sheila, been to to yucantan before for several weeks I took erika but at the ruins she was so cranky had a fit a put her foot through her hat needless to say i left her under a tree with a bottle of water and climbed the pyamid myself.Im going back before 2012 probaly for solicsts. DINT care for disney world but the kids will.Funny how erika tells stories of Tiller to her kids now she remenber almost all of those times she remeber when u came in the mercades to get us off the side of the roads when u lived in ashland oh the stories she tells sounds like a movie.We sure had some intersting times,so how many grandkids u got from the three boys, i;ve got a picture of all of them swiming naked at the edr its on the front of our album when i get moved ill try to get it on the site . stay warm and well
