Starting this Sunday, 12/20/09 at 9:A.M., WIOD, 610 AM radio, hosted by Donna Mathews, a component of the Miami Rescue Mission. The broadcast will be done in two parts. The first interview will feature Ronnie Higgins responsible for setting up this opportunity, and will include Steve Kever, Project Developer for Broward’s involvement with National Coalition’s “Faces of the Homeless Speakers’ Bureau, which is attached to the Broward Coalition To End Homelessness. The focus of the interview is about volunteerism and the need for public education on the various aspects of Homelessness and Poverty. The interviews were well received and there is talk of syndication.

How do Nabor here.Taking a road trip from Syracuse NY were I live to Iowa, Nebersa ,Colorado ,New Mexico ,Dec to Jan .Ever here of wwoof -usa go any where in the world work half a day for room and board on farms all differant situations I am going to learn about solor and wind power everyone is off the grid out there not here yet.Ron good to here from you we had some good times .Happy Birthday Stacy. Hi Nabor I think that is way cool!!!! Our place on Molokai is totally off grid and I am totally Solar there. We are also going to try to set up an additional water system that will add to the system via the auwai irragation ditches as we have water running through them all the time! We have set up two systems in the house too one is for 12 volt which we run ALL lights and a lot of low voltage stuff and the other side takes our 12v Solar battery power and through inverter boost to 115/220 volt for all high voltage. Works real solid even have two breaker boxes one for each 12v and Hi V and only use THREE siemens Panels and a total of 6 batterys! Have an Internet sattlite for communication and all reg stuff! WELL WORTH IT FOR ALL. The spot is as remote as any we all lived on in the past and my Sat is one that was special for Hawaii and ALASKA folks!

Great to see you as 100 page starter and have a great trip will be well worth it!

This is Shills; Whaaaasaappinin. I know that part of the country...I lived in Ithaca NY. For about eight years I worked for a prominent attorney who owned everything in the town, I had become a legend in that town .... Unfortunately...Infamous...Although that was in the eyes of the Law..I stood up for my own I would not snitch...I had learned that thru my life and wasn't going to ever give that up.... And I taught all those people... A lot of my friends said just tell them what they want to know and they will let you go.... NO WAY....The man doesn't even like a snitch they get what they want and then throw you to the dogs... Nothing worse then going to the penn with a snitch jacket...I kept my mouth shut, and thru the grace of GOD

I was acquited... It was a heavy duty Trial... Mine was one of the first Trials in the state of New York where they allowed cameras in the court room...I was on TV everday for a month I was in jail for a year and a half...Kind of like The O.J. Simpson trial, except local....Yea I'm a legend in that town..you can go there and mention my name they know me...I taught them to stand your own and don't succumb to the man...And the only reason I was able, was because I knew that Lawyer....otherwise I would have been Railroaded Like I have been My whole life.. Anyway...Thats what I learned and thats what I taught and its not a terrible thing...Its a good thing I was able to pass something on....I prayed everyday for that year and a half...Anyway... that is a great area very beautiful country with the gorges, falls and lakes, I loved it...Bernie and Judy lived in that area There first son Jeremy was killed in a truck wreck hit a tree wasn't high or nothing just young....Jimmy painter had come and visited us....
