Hi Scratcho! Nah, His lady talked with my Lady on the phone and she says that she can never get on the computer because Ranger is on it from the minute that he wakes up till the minute that he falls asleep. LOL

I'm a guy who never bothers to log out. But I like saying hi to folks everyday.

    No matter.

How is your life going? Anything new? Or Old?
We're fine here. And the weather is great.

Good. Glad everything's OK. Not much new here---trying to figure out something to do, now that I don't roof so much any more.

Weather's nice here too. A year ago we had snow, then freezing rain! What a mess--you could stand outside and hear trees and tree limbs crashing ALL over town. Really a mess. I'll be happy(happier) when summer comes, having been raised in the San Joaquin valley. How are things going for you?

Darn I just missed you. You just went off line. Anyhow to answer your question.

Was trying to be real gray and trying to rain for today and yesterday, but the darn Sun came out and the sky keeps turning blue. A little rain would keep the flowers blooming longer. Been real nice here. No freezes overnight.

Some snow way up north in Flagstaff. More expected on Sat and Sunday. When they clear the roads it might be nice to drive up and see some snow. It's been a while since I've experienced that.

Hey you are stillin the San Joaquin valley? Correct? Or am I mistaken. I've forgot. Nice talking with you, Joel.

Thanks y'all. I'm in Springtucky adjacent to Eugene, where all the old hippies go to die!! I got snowed in one time in Van horn, Texas. They parked big rigs at each end of town to keep people off the highways. We went to a motel and the lady said " just one room left." Ex says " can we look at it?" "OK," the lady said. So we march down to the room (with 2 kids in tow) and the ex looks in the shower and says "EWWWWW--THERE'S HAIR IN THE SHOWER--LET'S GO!". Well--I was agin' it but------I gave in. So when we go back into the office , the lady is on the phone---My ex says--"no--we don't want it." The manager on the phone says immediately--" OK--it's yours." We ended up trying to sleep in a drive-away with two kids!! I told her if that ever happened again---"-dammit--I'll EAT THE DAMN HAIR IN THE TUB!!"

Anyway, the weather has been real nice here and the boys will be starting a 13 building complex next week. (oh boy!). I'm gonna' get in on it somehow even if it's just low-ridin' around doing heavy-duty PR work with the old folks in the condos!!

Oh, sister--roofing in North Dakota?? If he knows how to roof, my boys could use him here--in the banana belt!!

Kenny-- I went through Flagstaff some years back. Really nice around there, although when a few snowflakes began to fall-----adios Flagstaff. Take care folks--summers 'a-comin'.

Now is when you can benefit from all your home produce when you'r e snowed in.. are there people who don't have provision for this kind of emergency? Loads a love my family.. [IMG] :daisy:

    Hi Maura,
Good to see you about. I don't mind the snow or ice.. I love all the seasons even the "hell has no fury, like Texas in August" days.

Of course I was born in Winter so, Winter is ok by me. Without the cold.cold we would have no fruit on the trees..

    Happy Sunday, everybody.

Cakesiekins, did all of the seedlings survive? I hope.

    BTW
How long did it take them to un-ice the Dallas overpasses? It's not important. I'm just curious.

I hope that your weather is nice.

Good for you. Beautiful Day! Yeah, Ranger is OK. I talked with him on the phone 4 days ago. They are good. He is just way too old to type now-a-days. Or something like that. LOL
He's is on-line all day everyday according to his lady. She can never use the computer. He just doesn't converse. Or type. LOL

You guys have a remarkable spring.

Hi Kenny,Hi Ranger n Rita, Hi Maura, Hi y'all

rain, sleet, snow... nice day.. rain, sleet snow.. nice day.. rain, rain, rain.. nice day and today>>>>> rain

It's been a hit n run kind of weather around here, very unusual for this region.

    HAARP is at it again
    http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/air-force-bombshell-admits-they-can-control-weather-haarp/

I don't know if anyone is taking notes but when was the last time it snowed on the beaches of the the west coast and hawaii.

    http://ktla.com/2015/03/02/hail-blankets-sand-and-pier-in-huntington-beach-in-layer-of-white-rarely-seen-in-socal/

I have been up and down the west coast from the time I was 8 yrs old till I was 24. Never in my days living in SoCali did I ever see hail or snow.. ezcept in the high mountains, not on the beach. It makes me wonder what is going on with all this ice they are throwing on the united states/northern hemisphere.

IDK what they are up to, but I do know something is afoot.

in other news..lol..my seedling in my greenhouse don't know weather to shit or go blind. Some of them have lost the will to live and have given up the fight to survive. I think it was the seeds bc one of the packages of seeds of tomatoes are up and thriving, the other package/other half of the tray is dead.so, I'ma thinkin' that the seeds were weak..

The lettuce is still thriving but it is a cooler weather plant... the outside gardens well.. we'll have to replant them.. rain has rotted the potato slips and onion slips. not sure how the broccoli cabbage, cauliflower and english peas are doing bc it is too wet to get to them. I will be glad when the rain stops so the ground has a chance to drink up all the water on it.

I do appreciate the the water, but there comes a time when enough is enough and a little sunshine is warranted.

Bright Blessing y'all, love, love, love

I've been thinking again.. so, what I have been thinking about is Truth and the Word or Words, as it were.

What do we mean by keeping the faith, being faithful, having faith. What is Faith?

I'm not talking about religion, I really don't get off on organised religion. It's bias and opinionated What I am talking about is something different. Something internal, something you feel and just know is truth. Something that is real yet non-tangible. Like it is embedded into your DNA and is as much a part of you as breathing.

We call them feelings, instinctive knowledge that guides us through life and keeps us on a positive path..what has gotten in the way of that, we know the path but we are not aware of when we strayed or lost our connection with ourselves and our creator. When did we lose our consciousness and become robots of men who beg for crumbs from their masters of war.

Where did we become submissive to negative thinking and push truth away and replace it with political correctness and cause anger and resentment among the races. That promoted Fear and singled out the uneducated and oppressed to to fulfill the desires of greedy men.

Which way will the wheel turn and where will it stop Do we know, do we care anymore or have we become a world of slaves. It's easy to be a slave, it's not so easy to be an individual and go against the stream of controlled existence and live free and govern yourself, bc you are in touch with your higher self and not swayed with the lies that are perpetrated upon humanity through manipulative teaching of what they what you to believe the Word is. Of what the truth is

The seeds are now popping up like popping corn popping :D.. looks like most all will come up, some have been up for a couple of weeks and will need to be set out to harden off before placing them in the ground.

I am delightfully surprised that anything survived in the greenhouse bc of the freak ice and snow we've had here and now the rains have come to put us to test. It has rained every day for a week.

The lakes and ponds are overflowing and alive with waves and rushing water flowing feverishly over the spillway making their way through the river of salt that runs across grande saline on it's way to find the sea.

The water runs quickly as to out run the Sun that would soon suck it back up into the sky to evaporate, like a bat out of hell it rushes over rock and sand, engulfing each side as it flows wider and deeper, like an addict looking for a fix, it rages and pitches in the downpour, feeding it momentum and strength like an unstoppable energy force from the super natural.

I was in Arizona and Australia during all the haps. Many of my friends were in Ca. At the time and I used to hear all the stories. I went on a couple of road trips during that time, but dont remember much. I must say, I have enjoyed this thread beyond belief ...its brought back so many memories . All of us who couldnt be there...we sure wanted to! Just so you know, you were all heros in our eyes, for many reasons. Its great to see you all getting in touch and sharing your experiences. A big thank you!
