Run away mini vacation report. Yesterday on Mary Jo's Birthday we drove north to Taos. We stopped 30 miles north of Santa Fe to visit Santuario de Chimayo, a famous little church because of some little miracle or something. It is so rustic.

We are going to the airport today and back home. A 1 hour flight.

Taos was fun and the drive up the Rio Grande valley was beautiful coming and going. The famous Taos Pueblo was closing at 5 so we got there and didn't really see it. Awe.
It's one thousand years old, plus people do currently live in it.

IT's been a great get away. No wonder old tiger is always taking off on great adventures. I get it.

Got a letter yesterday from Austin, basically stating that they have too many applications to process and that they are a bit overloaded. It was nice to get the up-date.

We will hear from them sometime soon.

 

Yes Scratcho. We were chowing down on New Mexican food every night that we were there. Awesome.

Our Next Big Church gathering is for Thanksgiving, folks. Not to be missed.

I'll be making pies and cooking the Ham tomorrow, I'll post some pictures of Thanksgiving Food. Then on Thursday I will try to post the bird and trimmings, we're having a small gathering this year, only about 10 or 12 ppl.

I have not gotten posting pics in this new hip yet, but I will figure it out.
