it's all good Maura, no worries. Kenny's just taking a few minutes to get some paper work done.

Happy to hear your house is coming along. I know who that is. It's great that you get to spend all this wonderful time with your son. My son lives, like 2,000 miles from me :( I have seen him twice in 10 years. We stay in touch through fb and phone, but I do miss his face.

It's raining today, so that is a good thing too. We didn't have barely a drop during the summer and the land is quiet dry. The pond is low and covered in green pond scum (eww)It's not a pretty sight..lol.. We'll have to get some copper dust and dump in the pond this winter.

I hope you enjoy your family and your new improvements..

    love ya

hi Mary & thanks for the update.. I know you've been busy nursing your hublicious back to health..
Kenny is a Godsend.. the paperwork wouldn't happen without him..
I didn't realize your son lived so many, many miles away.. I've seen your posts about not going on journeys away from home.. All parents say we don't see enough of our children.. I only see Sean (affectionately known as Seanie by most people close to him) about twice a year since he lives in Germany, but the economy is picking up in Ireland so he's considering a move.. I hope so, but I want whatever is best for him.. My other son (40 next year) lives here in liverpool, but they lead very busy lives, their jobs, running the boys around to football etc outside of school hours, but Granny gets dusted down & asked to stand in on a regular basis.. I love being with the grandchildren..
The work is coming along very well, but will take another week or so.. Love to you all in the cotge.. xxxx

[IMG] hi hippies.. I hope you're all well & happy.. the work in my house is coming along really well, & there's light at the end of the tunnel now! I told the guys (both called Sean) to use the same water glasses as we have to climb the stairs & use the bath taps to wash everything.. told them we'll have to drop our standards, & Sean jr was laughing at me.. Sean sr said 'our standards are already at rock bottom'.. how quickly you can get used to living a certain way.. love yas all :daisy:

Hi Maura, Lynn is doing as well as he can.. MRSA makes him feel sick.. He has headaches all the time. I think he needs an MRI on his head. He was doing pretty good the past week but now his headaches are back.

I'm glad your kitchen is getting done but I know how inconvenient it is. We redid our kitchen a few yrs back. Everyone here is issued one glass a day, usually the same one we used the day before. WE just drink water so with a good hot water rinse their good to go another day :)

    love, love, love

hi Mary.. I'm sorry to hear Lynn is in pain.. I have no personal experience of MRSA but I know it's a slow process getting well.. luckily you have a good knowledge of herbal/natural cures, & I wish you both well.. I think it's as tough to watch a loved one going through sickness as it is to be sick..
Today I'm stressed by my living situation, & wanting to blame the 'Seans' for not being more thoughtful, but they're working so hard all day (for no financial rewards).. these things are no ones fault, but I'm going out just to remember there is a world beyond this house covered in builders dust.. love, peace & all good things to all of us..

hi guys [IMG] I hope all is good in your lives.. brother Sean left for ireland, & son Sean left for germany about 4/5 days ago.. now I have a kitchen again, all bright & new, but also as time ran out a lot of little jobs that have to wait 'til next visitor comes along.. I miss the bright Summer evenings.. but I light candles in colourful glass holders & they add a touch of magic.. I hang some outside for passerbys to enjoy, as they are a symbol of peace (& indicate an ol hippy lives within)..
Mary, I haven't seen any posts from you in recent days.. I hope Lynn is well & strong again..
    love to you all.. :daisy:

Hi Maura, I love candles in colored glass.

I haven't been posting much bc I have been busy with babies, they wear me out but they keep me young too.

I try to write, by trying isn't my style. If the words are not flowing from my brain to my fingertips, there's no forcing it.

    Hi all.

We're still praying for Lynn to get all the way healthy. He is better but not all the way. So, think Blessings.

So, glad that you had the visits, Maura. Wonderful. And a fixed kitchen. Wow!

I talked with Mary on the phone. Told her that I did mail out the Tax Exempt Application and other papers first thing Monday morning October 27, 2014. That's finally taken care of. A lot of work. The nonprofit church acceptance is all up to God now, or at least up to somebody in the office in Austin,TX where the papers went to. God bless 'em.

I've got a ton of work ahead of me. 1000 page book. Me and Mary Jo are flying off to Albuquerque, NM for a long needed mini vacation. She's never been there. 4 whole days. Rent car and drive to Santa Fe. 4 days and 3 nights booked. My birthday the 7th and she is on the 10th. We fly back on the 11th. And back to work. :( We hadn't had a vacation since 1998, North Lake Tahoe.

    Love you all.

Today is a day Creator made, rejoyce and be glad in it for we are not promised tomorrow. We are under the Lord's grace, we go forward reaching out to all mankind. We gather and ask for blessing that we may be better for the giving of love and kind heartedness to our brothers and sister of this earthly plane. We gather in fellowship that we shall not be along and that we lend our hand out to those in need of a helping hand and a kind word, blessed are the meek as they shall iinherite the wind, rain, fire and earth.

Hey Thanks, Mary. My girl is all work and no play and she deserves a little get-a-way. It will be good for her soul. Fun and different.

Hopefully things will arrive at the Comptroller's office today. Good. They say wait 10 days or allow 10 days to hear back from them. Cool.

Mailed an envelope off to you with copies of everything. Duplicates. You will be fascinated. Great Reading too. Enjoy that. And some stamps for your office to. You will Love the stamps. FUN.

That went out to you to you last night / this morning. Regular mail. $2.20. Not 2 day Express mail at $6.00. You'll receive it by Saturday or Monday, I think.

I will send off duplicates to Ranger as well. Soon. Just to be official. It's some real great reading. He likes good books.

Tell Lynn good Luck with deer hunting. I hope he gets three whole herds. Maybe Four. LOL

Here's a thought for each of you. Something to consider.

I was watching a show on the History Chanel today about the designing of Washington D.C. and things there. They were talking about the Washington Monument. The obelisk, the tall tower with the pyramid pointed top. They then talked about the long reflection ponds, one extending east and one to the west. They were discussing and showing how if you stand at one end and look at the obelisk which is pointing to the Heavens and also seeing the reflection pointing down, you can then imagine and see the whole picture as all one thing (one single object) that points both up and down. They were getting Mystical here, with all of this. For real.

    © 2008 David Coleman [IMG]

    Looks like this.

They pointed out that if you envision it as a single object it is one very long thing that points up and down at the same time.

They stated, "As above so below."

    We all know that.
I had thought that that phrase, "As above so below," was from the I-ching. The book of Changes. Confucius. And I do think that it is in the book many times. Later on, in a different program I heard that the phase was originally from the Vedas. One of the ancient Hindi books.

The idea comes full circle. So, then.

    "As above so below."
    is the same as saying
"On Earth as it is in Heaven."

The symbology of pointing up and down. These are the folks who planned our country. This is all something to think about.

I gift this idea to you.
