I had a miserable day yesterday. It started out great, but went down hill fast in the evening.

Reflection.
I woke up this morning and realized that my girlfriend still loves me more then ever, and that God still loves me. (smiles)

That's my Sunday sermon for our church. A day late on Monday. LOL

 

I'm wondering if Tony had gotten to be a Universal Life Church minister way back when Cyril and Stacey and everybody else did.

Did any of us mention to Tony that we actually refiled to incorporate the Church at Nailcakes address? That was almost a year ago. That we are real once again.

We're trying. And we do have hopes.

Did you know that in the first 300 plus years after the birth of Jesus there was no birth date celebrated. No such thing as Christmas. The early church celebrated only the Resurrection as it's only holy Day. (Easter) The ascension of Jesus into Heaven and the way of gaining salvation and Heaven for us all.
For that was the main and only message.

The birth of Jesus became celebrated after the Emperor Constantine and the foundation of the (eastern) Roman Christian Church around ca. 320 A.D., or C.E. if you'd prefer.

I think that as a Church perhaps we should have some kind of a Christmas message. So, here goes. My attempt.

Here's Reverend Kenny's message for Christmas. This is from the book of John in the Bible, the King James version. This is John the disciple the said author or a later writer scribe writing in his stead after his death. The John who he refers to in this writing is another John. John the Baptist.
Note that, John the Baptist was born before Jesus was and was older than Jesus. Hence, John says, "He that cometh after me…". Jesus came after or was born in this world after John was.

The first lines of this writing refer to infinite time before the Book of Genesis and the Creation, and the Garden of Eden. Before the Creation of time and space, and before the Universe, the galaxies, and the Earth and the Sun.

This Pre Creation part, to me, is the most mystical, cosmic, mind bending, mind expanding, psychedelic, soul growth thing ever written. The ancient mystic secrets. Right here. Right now.

Please realize here that Jesus is known as The Word Of God or The Word.

Knowing this will make this all make real sense.
e.g. — “In the beginning was Jesus, and the Jesus was with God, and the Jesus was God.”

Thank you brother Kenny. I would like to share a thought that will be in the center of
my heart until it stops beating. This may or may not be from the bible but I would like
to point out that alot of the music from our daze (60s/70s) contained lines from the bible ("LET IT BE", "TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON" PLUS MANY MORE. As far as
I know "LEWY, LEWY" COULD HAVE TOO. LOL. oh shit I almost forgot about the thought in my heart. "I AM HE AND HE IS ME AND WE ARE ALL TOGETHER". sO TRUE
