My Good Bro Mouse.....Ican tell you an even finer time , member, you member....When we borrowed the Forrest Service backhoe, to spread cow shit on the garden, we worked all night, I can,t remember what psychodelic [SP] we did....but we could not figure out how to turn the yellow jellybean light off... It was a full moon which made it perfect....We replaced the fuel hooked everything back up even hunted in the field for the battery cover Parked exactly how we found it.... The next morning the workers came in and we were busted because ther was cow shit on the bucket and they called Louie Who came up and reemed us out for doing such a terrible deed......But we got the job done, that was part of the bust when Louie came up and looked in the field and saw all those piles of cow dong perfectly proportioned thru out the field...that was a cool experience matter of fact I ran a backhoe for two and a half years because I was experinced....Laters Mouse........SHILLS

Good to have you aboard brother Shills. My best memory of you is the bee sting you and your lady took when we were skinny dipping up in Oregon. Of course if you hadn't been gettihng it on at the time the bees wouldn't have been attracted to that special sweet smell.

We used to work out with weights at his house up the st and drink peyote milk shakes/honey lol i remember he passed with a nitrise oxide hose in his mouth. he went out feeling no pain lv sagdarel

Stacey, Hey, brother that was what it was all about-- ready or not here we all come. From my recollection there was concern, but no rejection-- the peace freaks had the most problems, and let me tell you it was the peace freaks who kept me from doing crazy things. You may not know, but a bunch of us from the beginning all came out of prison. Hopefully, in the near future we will all get together and cut it up.

I heard rumors about Breeze od'ing. I went through a hell of an addiction trip myself "crack cocaine". Because of that experience I do a lot of work in recovery besides all the factors that contribute to homelessness and poverty.

Today we might have been able to help Breeze as I was helped.

    Stacey here,

It's good that his name has been brought up an exceptionally beautifull bro'. It was industrial oxide-- the kind that kills. He could weld a line that was perfect-- what a waste.

What I remember most was the "heat" came to arrest him over some nonscence and some rookie was acting crazy toward him and they had him in handcuffs, he got pissed and broke the handcuffs-- the "asshole rookie" damn near shit his pants. One of the legends from the Haight.

Yea Darryl... I remember Harmonica Leroy, he was a very cool dude I Met him over Breeze's and partied with him alot....he lived on Page st. Up from cole st. house and to the right...When he passed he was at a party and they were toking on nitrous but they didn't have the four man hose hook up like I had made w/reverse thread...they were toking right off the valve with it on as low as it goes... when somebody bumped his arm and made it go full force into his lungs and froze them.... Scorpio Ted was with us when we went down town with the dump truck... When the city was on strike... no man...
We got 11 tanks of nitrous we all took off Ted jumped in the back of the dump all the tanks were laying on there side we headed back to the shop on oak st when we got there Ted got out of the dump with his lips all frozen burnt because he tried to toke on the tank while it layed on it side and liquid came out......I wonder what ever happened to him I believe he was from Georgia...... Well Laters.......SHILLS

I remember when y'all painted the Starship house, aka Jefferson Airplane.. You painted it black and the pillers gold. It was an awsome house.. all them houses were fantastic in their archetecture. I use to marvel at their magnifisence.

Howdy SH, My ex dead husband "Slobby Bobby" lived next door to the starship house. This of course was before he met me.Most men dont remember him, but alot of sisters do when I show his photo. It's nice to see all yous remembering old stories.Beleave it or not, when I was a young sister, I heard many stories from many different folks.SpaceyStacy, How can ya forget a name like that! Cant remember anything in particular about any of it, but the name stuck! I'm glad ya'll are havin fun catching up & all. Any of you remember a Dr.Clyde Tidwell? He helped with the warehouse district in SF, artists and such. He was one of my mentors, we worked on youth rights in Tucson. At least we got a facility for unwanted, abused kids as opposed to them bein thrown in juvi and treated as criminals. He would hide us from the cops too. He was never a perv. either, although when I saw him 25 yr's later in 2001, he didnt look a day over 58, he was in his 80's, and yes he gave me the compliment of his desire.I was in my early 40s, so it was ok.He was a very active cat, involved in many goings on. When I called him in '01' and sd my name, he sd "the girl who slept in tree's" he never forgot me. Keep on Keepin on my dear elders.

It's a small world Kimmie, and it gets smaller as the daze go by.
I cant say that there is a better feeling then reuninting with loved ones. It just makes ya smile all over, inside and out. You feel stronger and fuller, like things are more balanced out and complete.

I use to love to travel, I put in a lot of miles in my youth. But the last 25 yrs have basically been just here on the farm. You just cant 'pick up' and take off for weeks or even days at a time. We talked about that on the phone the otherday.

It's not the feeding and watering that keeps us bound. We have a chicken biz'ness and I raise dogs. The chickens are intricet work, ya gotta gather the eegs, date them, remove new chicks from brooder, place in hot box, and check them frequently to make sure that dont wad up on top of each other a suffacate the ones on bottom. Then ya put the fresh eggs in and in 28 days you have chicks again, so you always have chicks coming out every couple of days.

I seem to always have a litter of pups in the house. I have 3 chihauhau pups about ready to go out the door right now. I just sold 4 mini schounazer pups two months ago and expect another litter in a couple of weeks.

If we were to leave for over a day or two we'd have to hire someone to do the farmwork, it's too much to ask someone to do all that work with the chicks and to trust someone to do it right. Plus who would willingly volenteer to clean up puppie mess five times a day X 3 for a week..lol

When you depend on the livestock as your livelyhood you have to be there to stay on top of things so you dont lose your investment. Besides, when you live in Paradise there is no need to go somewhere else to find it. It's funny, cuz where'd we go, to the country?? We live about as country as you can get without going off the grid entirely.

But still, I do have that wonderlust to travel to new and exciting places.

    Blessings

Hey Cakes... If you look alittle closer at the Starship house you will notice that the columns are not gold.... We had spent alot of time burning and scraping the paint which was an 1/4 inch thick and sanding down to natural wood....along with the railing around the front porch which you can't really see in the picture...the top of the columns were gold... and the trim which was like a carved casing around the front door we did in gold leaf....first time Iever did that...reason was that the gold we did on the carved band.....and the abutments on the top under the eaves would always tarnish as we went along... because any gold paint that you used usually had a brass pigment which would tarnish fast we even tried putting a clear coat over it right away to no avail.... then we even went down to that government building downtown the one in front of that reflecting poll which had gold trim that wasn't real gold but the aholes wouldn't devulge what they had used.....but it had stayed gold for a long time W/O tarnishing...Well just alittle tid bit of history on the airplane house there are a lot more stories...like you wouldn't believe...Like when we took the Meg over the Starship house and borrowed their big equipment boxes and put people inside them and snuck them into Winterland by telling them special guest apperance By Jefferson Starship the guys with the clip boards ran around like chickens with there heads cut off...by the tim,e they figured what was happening everybody was let out of tho boxes and was into the concert.....It was Jerry Garcia and the Greatfuldead....Then there was the time they reopened the old Filmore East and we were on the Guestlist it was the Starship, Hot Tuna, Gracy Slick, And Papa John Creach... Thats another long story have to sign off right now ........Laters....SHILLS
