and people that can see ,but refuse ta look at it are even blinder.i read over his posts again mary,an i think he was talking about the mayer bullshit.though i would'nt call it the mayer bullshit.i'd call it the mayer tragedy,what happened ta rita.the bullshit was just all the arguments stuff.but i think he should say sorry for saying get real ta ya,cos you are real.and i'm glad you brought that bit up,bout all the talk about helping and then talking about all the help later.i'm not very happy bout all that either.helping is something you do quietly and don't talk about it,or want any medals for. well even though i'm not talking ta kenny at the monment anyway,since he said retards an that my countries not a nation an did'nt apologise for any a that yet either in the other house.but like you i do still love him.but i think kennys greatest enemy is false pride.as humans we all make mistakes.none of us is perfect,cos we're humans,but its very important ta be able ta put your hand up when you are wrong bout something an take responsibility for your own actions or lack of actions.its not a weakness.its a strength.but kenny thinks its a weakness to admit when he's wrong bout anything.but its just arrogance coupled with false pride.and someday thats the very things that will kick him the ass the most,if he don't change them ways for the better.its a shame really.cos he has a good heart an he means well in wanting ta help people,but if theres one thing i can't stand its people talkin' bout all the good things they done an kenny even annoys me more that way,cos then he dose throw it back in faces ,like he thinks that no one appreciates his good actions,when in reality they all do.ranger even said it even when they were fighting.even when ranger was calling him a punk,he was still saying that you can always depend on kenny ta come through in an emergency.so for kenny ta think no one appreciates things is silly anyway.but its very hypocritical ta tell a real person ta get real,when they won't get real themselves.i gave away more than i ever spent,but i never talk about it.cos thats not why you help anyone in anyway.you help humble just because you care an for no other reason at all.i would be very proud of kenny if he said sorry,but i won't be holding my breath on it.then again he might surprise us all an man up! an do the right thing.when you do the right things in life,the right things happen.i also think being in control is what makes him feel secure.but thats a false sense of security. love is trust an if he puts more trust in those who love him unconditionally then he won't feel the need ta be as much in control of everything he's powerless over.

You speak much wisdom Roamy. I knew Kenny was talking about Mayer. I was talking about the attitude, the manner in which he chose to express himself by demeaning other, which in MHO is Bulling tactics.

I was talking about Getting their shit together before Rita came home, she sure does not need the stress. I merely stated that I had not heard Mark's interpretation of what happened and I would has to have that piece of the puzzle to see the whole picture.

That's when Kenny told me to get real and then dismissed me. If he doesn't want to talk about it, fine. I didn't ask him to. I didn't ask or suggest to him to pay any one's way anywhere, or to give them more cash after that.

He did that on his own. The ONLY time I have ever asked for money is for Ranger when he needed his heart surgery and he received all that was collected.I know Kenny put in a large amount bc of his generous heart and a lot of his time.

All of that was done out of and bc of LOVE and does not go unnoticed. This arguing and hard feelings is not showing love, not being understanding. It 's being ridged and stiff, unyielding and refusing to compromise. Closing the door and not letting the Light Shine in.

It's an Ego power struggle that men have in their DNA and why there are wars, as is exhibited here. We are all equals here. There is no boss. We make community based decisions with all involved parties contributing.

All I can do is pray, that the Light returns to them soon bc we have work to do.

hi Mary.. as a distraction from the other stuff, I've been meaning to ask about the hunting season, & freezing your winter meat.. also all the canning, pickling etc you do during summer.. does it provide all your winter food?

 

ya the attitude.thats what needs changing.the thing bout that is,when someone trys to demean others they only demean themselves.a lot is yet needed to be learned.an no rita dose not need the stress.its the last thing she needs.no in fairness none of us have heard sags side yet.an i know he ment well in going there.i think everyone ment well mary,but it was just a very stressful time all round for all.an ranger has expressed to me that he felt he could have handled things better an not have shouted at sag,but i told him he was'nt his full self either.ranger was still in shock himself at finding rita on the floor.but he did good an acted very fast in spraying her with the cat spray ta bring her round before calling the services.so i don't think he should be to hard on himself for shouting and sag won't hold it agaist him anyway.he'll understand that too.kenny should'nt have dismissed you for saying you had'nt talked ta sag yet,as it makes sense ta want ta see the whole picture.ya ranger always says how grateful he an rita were for the whipround when ranger got sick.that was a very hard time for them too.the light must be allowed ta shine by all.rita is home now an doing good thank god. but yes its time for all the men now ta stop the arguing and get back ta normal again.anyway we'll see mary. now is the time ta seperate the men from the boys ha! ha! kenny needs ta get in here and do whats right and they all need ta stop arguing. i'm off ta light acandle on my table for peace between all once again.true all wars are stated by primarily by men. well tis time ta end them now.an all familys should be workin together for the better not against. has any ye heard from sag ?hopefully he'll turn up soon. anyway i hope he's ok too.:love::daisy:

 

Hi Maura,

It doesn't supply all our food but sure the heck supplements it. Sometimes all the veggies don't make, if there is bad weather or something. We didn't get a large verity of veggies last year bc of the cold spell that came early. Last few yes there has been very little deer in the woods, not a lot of meat, we do get at least oe deer and one hog every yr, and we fish, but all that is slowing down

what happened him ?

 

We are back from the ER. Lynn was at Deer Camp, fixing something or the other, on a 6ft ladder, the ladder gave way and Lynn came tumbling down. He broke 3 ribs and sprang his wrist, scrapes and contusions. He will be alright.

He crawled to his truck and drove himself home. I rushed him to the ER, he is in a world of pain. My poor darlin'. It kills my hearts to see him suffer so. Thank goodness it wasn't worse or he might still be laying down there. When he goes to deer camp I never know when he'll be back so I don't have a mapped out time to expect him.

I worry about the old man down there by himself, when he is cutting tress or even hunting, you never know when something will happen. He said he knew better than to go up the rickety ladder. Hind sight is 20/20.

I hate to see him in so much pain but at least he will heal from it. It could have been worse.

Sorry for the scare Maura, but I was kinda scared myself when I saw the shape he was in. I don't know how I would ever keep him out of the woods. It's in his blood. He grew up in those woods.

Time plays tricks on us, it creeps up and becomes old age. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. He's like an old mountain man they die if you take them out of the mountains.

Thanks for the love and care, we'll be alright now. He's home resting.

 

thank god he's still alive. was'nt he strong ta drive all the ways after that.ye need ta get two mobile phones mary.if he had one with him he could have called.an that ladder don't sound up ta much.he has no business up ladders at his age anyway. especially alone up there.too dangerous. the ribs will take time ta heal.he will be in a lot a pain with them.is their damage done ta his wrist ? good job he did'nt hit his head.they will have fully checked him at er for all of that.you won't keep him outa the woods and you want ta anyway as he loves them so much. but mobile phones would help.an invest in a better ladder if he's still determined ta climb one again.you must have got a big fright when you saw him. but like you said it could have been worse.thankfully it was'nt.he landed on the wings of angels mary.thanks for letting us know.hava rest yourself now too after the fright:love:

 

oOOoh.. as Roamy said, to drive through all that pain! I'm so glad it was nothing that can't be fixed, but the shock is enormous, for you as well.. it's just too tempting to cut corners, but personal injury gets more scary as you get older.. do mobile (cell) phones work in rural ares? there are places where there's no signal, but it's urgent to have some means of contacting each other.. no you'll never get Lynn away from the only life he knows.. it would be like uprooting a very old rose, it wouldn't take.. I was raised on a farm in Ireland, no electricty in the 50s so no influences from the outside world.. even though I've lived in cities all my adult life my children say I live it as though I'm in the heart of the country..

I have suggested a cell phone on many occasions to him. He can't see the little numbers to dial them. Our whole family has tried to get him to use one. He declined the invitation. I'm thinking maybe walkie talkies, he close enough in range for it to be effective, or a CB radio, Breaker, Breaker 1-9.. One or the other will be in his Christmas Stocking this year.

I has always felt that when the Good Lord calls him home he will be either on his tractor or in the woods. What terrorfys me is the thought that I would be here without him. I do not want to live without him., so I have decided that we are both going at the same time. That way I don't have to suffer his loss and he doesn't have to suffer mine.

WE should all count our blessing every day bc we never know when it will be our last.

hi guys. i got saved to. feel very lucky ta be still here. a gas leak sprang while i was sleeping.friend came round and got smell of it coming out from under door.i was still sleeping.he broke door down an woke me up.turned it off at the mains an called gas emergency services. the whole place stank of gas an i felt like i was drunk when he woke me and i don't drink.the gas guys said they could'nt understand how i was still alive with the amount of gas in air. its all fixed now again.

the wakie takies are a great idea mary. they'll work cos he's not to far away.:love:
