Cheryl, Hey Gal, I didnt get to make sauce this yr. I do my salsa first, them my canned tomatoes, and then with the second picking I do the sauce, but we were flooded during the second pick and we lost over 60 tomato plants, so there was no maters for sauce.

My hubby is kinda back to the land sorta guy, no frills or fancy stuff he dont know how to use. I'm lucky to have a PC Ohhh but he does have two color TVs in the barn hooked up to sattilite so he can watch his NASCAR n Footie Ball.

Most of the female paintings Jimmy did was of his wife who died in SoCali before he came to SF, she was hispanic and very beautiful. He use to talk about her to me now n then.

So......... the Good Earth store is under constuction excellant! i have alot of things i hope ppl will like? if i can send the pic to the store straight from my phone that my friends wood be great!!!!!! will sea? if anyone as some ideas about that let me know. hey wild bill!, dana if there's anything i can do just let me know. i wood so much like to hear your voice, that wood be the greatest medicine of all. the hide count for this year is 4 elk &2 small elk and 13 deer hides whew!!! AND i have more on the way!!!! hoka-hey "its a good day to tan a hide" hey spud! i enjoyed your conversation last weekend. oh! i almost forgot i got 5 elk racks saturday nite 5 pointers all of them!!!! and one moose rack and 2 deer racks i feel some pipes coming on, knife handles, belt buckles. i was so blown away. the guy that gave them to me said his dad had them stached away for 30 or so years . that's incredible! they don't look a day over a year bye4now aka buffalo dancer aka 2dogs

You know, I never understood why that scumbag jerry was able to stay as long as he did in the family after hurting so many of the sisters. He pulled a knife on little annie and hit me in the face with a beer bottle and then bashed Kevin's ( ellen's brother)face with another bottle, then what he did to my sister with that shotgun was unforgivable.

I am actually grateful they stopped me before I slit his throat. I was out of it with anger and fear my sister would die. I cant imagin why he would come backj to the crime sceen and think he would be welcome. I think that incedent was the worse thing that happened in GE, except of course for Capricorn Linda's accident, but that was an accident and Not a violent act against her. The attack on us from the LEO's, when they burnned us out on Page St. house, but again, that was not from the inside of us.

I was pretty wild and crazy back then , but time has a way of mellowing one out. I still have my moments but am more selective of my causes. I hate injustice and ignorance, tho, I myself am ignorant of many things but I do know the difference between right and wrong.

I know we were on the right track with our 'mission' and we took part in changing the minds of ppl who were unconscious of what was going on around them. I know that we were all called to one place by an unknown force, that it bonded us together and that we took it to the highest level we could with what we knew and what we were.

We gave it all we had with all we were worth, with love and compassion, but there is a line that you have to cross and discommunicate with ones that did not see the "Light". The ones that were Wolves (sorry wolves) in sheeps clothing. Hiding under the guise of Hippie that were pure evil/negitive and hurt our cause bc of fear. Like manson and the jerry's of the world. They gave a bad image of Hippies, of course these ones were/are not hippies and never was/will be Hip, Cool, or Enlightened. They are insane.

So many lesson we learned, how we grew as human beings, what we took from the experience and what we gave. On the whole, it was beautiful.

I love you as I love myself, as we are all part of the ONE. As each one of us come by to say howdy the love grows and grows, never ending, always gaining momentum and going ever forward untill the last link is reunited to the chain and our circle be unbroken once again.

hey mary! everything you said rings so true! one thing i learned in life is that medicine takes care of it self, what leo ron, chuck mf, wild bill and myself and please forgive me if i've left anyone out. what we did that nite is what the medicine dictated to cure the problem. its not what we decided, its what the universe handed down. the jerry's of the world WILL NOT! get away with this kind of behavior at least while i'am around. we WERE and ARE the "dog soldiers" of this planet. and i'll tell you right now, i can't think of a better bunch of folks that i'd rather run with then the Good Earth ppl. WOW just dropping in to see howzit and it is rocking here!. Happy and I were talking the other day and we were reminessing(dam I still cannot spell) actualy we talk 2-3 times a week. Hap reminded me that he did not FINALLY arrive in SF till after I had gone back to DC, from Boulder, SF and ORYGUN. He and I went up to Wisconsin and lived for like three months (MIDDLE OF WINTER) not warm this accounted for some of the 1971 year! We were going to try hang there. We had some very good times for 3 months! That was Haps territority!! But tradgy hit He went East for funeral. I went back west again. Man some of us were so so young when we first showed up in SF. When I returned to D.C. again I rented upper Cow Creek place paid a year rent in advance. This was before we bought the "80" over on Cow Creek. Guess the storys we told created intrgue and no one wanted to miss out! Happy reminded me how I had gotten a job to do it right (as zappa used to say) in D.C. to get my cash stake to go back west to buy in Orygun. That was when he and Sharon (Big Tits) SHAROON and Rocky left my place in Bethesda to go to SF. That was his first trip to SF and he actually lived with the GE in the early 70s. He remembered when Candy was doing well and when Cody was born. Daryl BUDDY is Codys Dad and Candy and Buddy (budwah) were togather back in early 70s. Buddy I hear is in Euguene and did possiable get the medical help he needed. Candy is in Portland and I cannot say she has done as well. Her Birthday was yesterday.

Spud you saw nabor and he is in upstate NY..wow way cool the last time I saw Nabor he was on his was to Alaska!!

Cheryl I hope this does not hurt but Carl called me about three months ago!!! From up in Orygun! He used to come up to the 80 on Cow Creek back in the day when you all were still togather. He was still Carl!!!!

Hap remembers so so much from the early to mid 70s and it blows my mind how he can recall it all!!!

WB how is (or did the BD thing go) and Did you see the Parade Section of Sundays Paper the big AW(Andy Williams) does a lot of remminessing(again that spelling thing) He mentions Branson and that was the Theatre we built in B-Town when I was his PSM. I hope all went well over the pond and I like your Title and the ideas.

TL is managing the Sailors Union Hall in SF for all who Remember little TL!! I do not think Terry will mind me letting all know that. That Book that Rock S wrote about the days with the Dead was written while Rock lived with Terry for a While. That was also a while ago. TERRY WHERE IS MY COPY SIGNED!!!!!!

omg chris so sorry your sick, i remember alot about the 80 it snowed on mothers day and i thought we would frezze to death i remember alot about hap and mar just dont what to say to hap heartbreak. better that carl calls u than me we havent talk for about 4 yrs so tired of his calls they lasted for hours on and on and on.i never for got u darrel remember the night of mars birthday with the band we ended up in bed fully dressed with kids all over us alice was so mad i remeber her yelling i'm buying a microwave u stayed out all night so good to hear from u all. WE WERE REALYY IMPRINTED FOR LIFE ALL OF US FROM THOSE DAYS. Hey Chris, ask Hap if he remembers the late-night runs to Dukies. Happy could always spin a good yarn out on the units (tree-planting, brush piling, etc). I remember his DC stories about the guys he worked with and the stories they told him. There was a good story about "godiva chocolates" that made everyone laugh.

Spud I even Remember DUKIES!!! And so does Hap!! Godiva Chocolates for all the ladys who do nothing all day except drink champane and eat Godivia Chocolates!!!! LOL LOL LOLL Hap STILL is the funniest guy I have ever met and he has plenty of stories that go back to when he saw the leaders of the Country getting bla-doe with him Dad and Mom!!! lol lol When we were like Sophmores in HS we actually used to help his Parents with partys they had.....Mostly Hap and his Lady back then would dress up and serve the folks at the party while we waited for them to finish so we could go out (from waiting in his basement)for the party to end so we could go out to get bla-doe ourselves! Greg Wah was permantaly kicked out of Happys house back then by haps Mom for....well being Gregwah basically!! Oh Greg........

I am sure that if ANYONE wanted to talk to Hap now it is OK. Still Sad and will always be for Mary she was a saint but he has the Kids and we are keeping touch all the time. Hap Calls some of the Orygun folks sometimes.

DF Sounds GREAT I did not know you were in the Carp Union.... Did you ever fill in as a Carp for the IATSE. I was always using the Unions when I did Shows and Corporate events in LV. I was at Riv in the OLD days before the boom happened as I actually did Pia Z shows!! SHE was TERRIABLE but her 70 year old man paid gold for her to let her sing! lol She married him for the dough, but she gave him a BOY son so the old geaser was happy with her. Always in Ceasars When I was in Town with Magic Dave and at Harrahs when we finally took Spellbound off the road and on to the strip! Lots of stuff at the LVCC. You know Sams Town I am sure? We did a lot of the install of the lighting and automation there.

DF WAY before the days of Burning man I used to go to Gerlach to Jhonny Limbo's oaisis Planet X ! Johnny would do a 4th of July Party he would hold up on the Black Rock. I was Living in Ashland Then and Ernie the Goat farmer from Lakeview introed me to Jonny at the Planet X Oaisis outside of Gerlach. Them was great days and a lot of fun. That was when the Brits broke the land speed rechord on the Blackrock. If you ever go up there go to Johnny's place (Planet X) the 3 bars and the grocery store in town will direct you there, check him out you two would really connect! His place is the most amazing place I have ever seen in a DESERT. He was still making lots of Natural things last time I stopped by. Of Course Tell him I say Hello (He may remember me best if you remind him of those partys with Heartless Dodgers and the Rockafellas. I brought him all the Sound stuff and we did great fireworks. Me Sheila and the Kids always stayed at one of his little buildings he has on his Oaisis. Looked at Buffalo S NICE PICS too!! I need to have you make me a medicine bag from one of my axis deer hides I have from Molokai. Beautiful hides axis Deer have spots all over! If you do not mind?? And maybe a tote bag? Again if you are cool with that. You sound real busy tho! But i am going to make sure I have plenty of time to wait to allow it to happen if you take on orders like that.

hey chris !! that sounds fantastic! yeah what ever we can do , lets do it . i'd be more than honored to do some work 4 ewe, just send me the hide and i'll make whatever u want ok. yes!!!! the "GOOD EARTH" store will be taking orders. and I should have lots of buckskin soon to make ewe a REAL NICE tote bag and medicine bag ok! although i probably won't start tanning until the middle of nov. i'am still bringing in the sheeves! lol , talkin about the trade shows, i've worked the trade shows 4 the last 7 years at the lvcc, the sands, mandelay bay, whatever i could get, i got it. i've worked on some multi-million dollar booths!, u know yourself those booths aren't cheap. the shoe show at mandelay bay, the magic show, the car show,electronic show and every show in between. i did the build & tear down. shit!!! we probably walked right passed eachother and didn't know it?, well, the boom is pretty much over now. city center is almost complete. the fountainblue project is in bankruptsey. i was working on that too, i also had a hand renovating the mirage hotel,red rock casino, the signiture towers behind the mgm, the turnberry towers on paradise, the new concert hall at the hard rock hotel on paradise,worked on the Beatles love at the mirage, got Pete Best's autogragh at the beatles fest a couple of years ago wow!!! its so...... great that we are together again!!!! lv and then some my brother take care! talked to spud last nite he's working really hard on getting our GE store up and running! i'am posting new pics 2day seaya soon sagdarel as columbo wood say "just one more thing" check out my profile on facebook!! aka 2dogs lol

So good to see you coming in more, the more you say the more that will be said the circle of connection, we just have to take a minute and be still inside to feel the flood of reunion wash over us.

The strenght will manifest itself from within you when you are confronted with oposistion. Erica needs this from you to be balanced in her life so she may in turn balance her childrens lives. We are ALL human beings and have our shortcomings. We learn as we grow and grow as we learn.

Life is to short to hold on to old hurts, it's time to set them free and leave them in the past, as we werent as wise then as we are now.

Forgiveness is not really for the one being forgiven, but the one forgiving. Forgiving lifts the burden and you dont have to carry it around anymore, leaving an opening for healing.

It's exillerating when you do finelly let it go. The darkness seems to vanish and a light, a softer light then The Light, but a light none the less shines a becon so you can find your way home, being at peace with yourself.

I cant belive Christmas is so near. I have to get busy making gourd cafts, necklaces and soaps. I do my soaps last bc I like them to be fresh when used. I have a few necklaces done, but I have a habit of giving them away before it's time I have last yrs gourds seasoned and ready to process. I make handpainted bird houses and pot thingys. The gourds are the hardest, so much work scraping and sanding and then being steady enough to paint and bead.

I have a g/f coming by today, we are making halloween soaps today for prizes for the kids, we're having our anual halloween party on sat. We hitch up the tractor to the haywagon and we go around the backroads whoopin n howling through the night. The kids love it and it is a dying tradition we try to keep alive.

I think that's part of why we are farmers, keeping the old ways in tact and showing the generations that come up behind us, a way of life that is rewarding and honest, clean and fulilling.

I can offer my place for a reunion. I have plenty of space. The only obstical is the distance. Everyone lives so far from me. Maybe we can work something out.
