Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

well things have'nt been great here with all the cut backs an recession and stuff over the last few years,but even if theres was'nt a spare curtesy room you are still allowed ta stay with your family in the hospitals an just make do the best you can.when my mam got sick last year i was with her all the time.their was no bedroom free,but i got a waiting room all ta myself and matress.but i still just did'nt sleep in it anyway.i just put two chairs together at the foot a mams bed and sleapt beside her.the heart machine went nuts during the nite,but twas just a twisted wire.anyway she survived thank god god and is fully well again and heading for 85 next birthday. ritas having dinner hour now. rangers in good spirits he's hangin' in there.:love:

My pc was out yesterday evening, would not connect. I fixed it this morning, thank goodness.

Today is Lynn and mine's 28th Anniversary. I suppose we will go out for supper. Old Wolf was here for a few days. He left last night around 9:30pm. I hope he makes it back to NY.

I have talked to Ranger, Mike, and Stacey in the past few days. Was good to talk to them all. Kenny and I talked last week or the middle of last week.

I missed you all and I'm around.

Doc says Rita had a big time major stroke, but like the nonconformist she has always been she won't stay down.:2thumbsup: She's walkin' & talkin' and amazing the doc & staff but it'll still be about a month in rehab. If ya'll want her contact info pm or call me.

ritas a real fighter ranger. she really is having a miraculous recovery. a major stroke is a big stroke.ta be be talkin' an walkin' already is amazing. the power of prayer is helping a lot a too.do you know the full postal address for the rehab ranger ? if so will you pm it to me please,cos i'd like ta send her a card an present to there ta cheer her up.:love:

 

Just heard from Mark. By Texting. He needs a phone card to talk. Cash got to Boise today (Monday) at 11:37 a.m. We thought tomorrow at about the same time. He's got it and he's good to go.

Figures that he'll be on the road at 6 p.m. Mountain Time. Yey!

Two day run. 933 miles 15 hours. I hope that he stops and smells the roses along the way. A La Vacation style trip.

Monday to Wednesday. I would guess.

I just now talked with Rita. (phone) They are wearing her out with therapy.

I hand a smile to Mike. And he puts out his hand.

 

you did real good kenny getting the help ta sag ta get there. welldone! he can get there now. ya lets hope he gets ta smell the roses on the way. but tell him not ta spend to much time smellin' roses,cos if he dose ranger will be pushin up the roses from eatin' to much junk food. ha! ha! :love:

Yeah. I also talked with Ranger on the phone. A social worker had filled out some forms with Rita, the Daughter Audrey, and with him later on.

Well it seems that things are really happening. The state and the Veteran's Administration are paying for him to get some help, now. "Meals on Wheels" organization came by with a hot meal and a box of groceries. He says that someone will be coming by and helping and cleaning now and then. And he will have hot meals dropped off 6 days a week.

He's spoiled rotten. He's napping right now.

 

but is'nt it great ritas strong enough already ta do all the therapy. i ment ta ask ranger is she still smoking. i hope not.

thats all good. the meals an wheels an groceries. that will be a great help and give rita peace a mind about him.

ya rita spoils him ha! ha! but its all good,she spoils him with love.
