yeah I'm not on the blacklist, so I think they just have too many people working on the automatic machines that do the work for you, and you just inspect the parts to make sure they are the right color and nothings bent. They are letting me keep my time card and id bag , does that mean anything?

I was just having an argument with myself about Law. Being we are a country based on christian beliefs at large, the 'Laws' were already written, according to moses. I say this bc, it's in our pledge of allegiance, it's printed on our currency and it's televised world wide.

Great scholars and gifted writers, historians and paleontologists have supported this in their findings searching for whatever truth is out there.

If believers live by the 'Law' of The Tablets are they still bound by man made 'law' that goes against the tablets?

Is the Constitution and Bill Of Rights not based on the fundamentals of christian beliefs bc the writers were christian. ( this is not about religion, but of law)

So, my question is: If man's law conflicts with "GOD's Law and is against the constitution and infringes on our rights, are we bound by them and to be subjected to man's law.

Would it be considered compromising one's self, their integrity, their honor, to yield to the laws of man if it conflicts with one's rights, set in stone.

Are we free to practice our faith without infringement from government? Can we practice our ceremonies and rituals with out fed supervision.

I'm not saying all that we are, be christians, here in our church you are free to believe what resonates with you. I was talking more on the lines of the law and if it goes against spiritual law does one choose to adhere to man made law or what Spirit dictates.

    Just food for thought

    love is the way

That does make me wonder. Of course now a days its written on paper and is law whether said law is unconstitutional or not if you don't obey it they throw you in the slammer

From what I see on the 'net', if you're a christian it is the same as being a terrorist or more accurately more of a threat than a terrorist.

Is freedom of religion a fading thing, along with freedom of speech and right to bare arms? Have we grown so week that we have lost our ability to think for ourselves and use common sense.

I spends hours a day watching videos, listening to speeches and reading tons of documented information from both sides and the middle of the 'isle' and it's leaning toward the dis-assembly of our constitution. It's eye opening to say the least.

I don't like to get caught up in conspiracy theories or opinions of others, unless I research it myself and us my common sense to decide how I feel about it, I don't commit myself to it unless I am inspired to do so..

After my ordeal here with the wood county sheriff's dept and other county officials a couple of weeks ago and my peace of mind shattered unrecognizable from it's former state of being, being up against a force of men with weapons pointed at me, standing there in my PJs on my own front porch at daybreak widened my horizons so to speak.

I stood my ground in my bare feet and my knowledge of the constitution and my bill of rights, questioning their authority to come into my home and property and demand entrance without probable cause or a warrant.

While I stood there on the stairs one investigator talked with me while two more were standing on either side of my porch. Two other deputies had my hubby over to the side.

The investigator was asking a lot of questions about my knowledge of the person they were looking for in a shooting incident two blocks down the road. I told them the person was not here and we had not seen him in yrs ( we had not) I asked why they thought he would be here. He told me the father said he might be here. That was their probable cause to search my house and premises. I said that it was hear say and not allowed in a court of law.

I further stated he was not here and there was no one else in the house and then another, plain clothes man walked up from around the corner of my house and apparently was playing the 'bad cop' and started to threaten me saying they didn't need a warrant and they could indeed come in and search my house.

He said he wasn't going to stand there and argue the constitution with me and started to walk through me. The 'good cop' stopped him and said " we don't want your mj, we just want to make sure the guy isn't in your house holding a loved one inside with a gun.

Hubs was holding and was in fear of his/our freedom if they happened up on it. The investigator said he could not/would not arrest us if we co-operated and let them in. I did not want to but hubs suggest that I let them search the house.

They did a walk through with the house surrounded, guns drawn and ready to shoot with me walking right next to them. I really wasn't afraid bc there was no one there and they had no legal right to be there. As soon as they were done walking through, they left with no apologies for disrupting our lives.

I did observe and is my point, that we still have our rights for the time being and we should do every thing we can to keep them. I held the entire wood country sheriff's dept off by my self for almost two hrs with the constitution as my shield.

I would not like to see what would have happened to us if we did not have our rights to protect us from uninvited entry and unauthorized search and seizure.

mary, im sorry that you had to go through that bull shit. what a way to have
your peace and serenity shattered and so early in the morning. The saddest
part of your tail is that after clearing you and your home the PIGS didnt tell you
that they were sorry for putting you through such an ordeal. Thats what qualifies them as PIGS. Just as a human i could not put someone through such an ordeal and then walk away without apologizing. I would call the sheriff dept
and point out how rude that was and suggest that in the future under similar
circumstances his men should include an apology. after all they are to serve and
protect. and if nothing else it would make them appear to be more professional
and you might prevent another citizen from suffering the rudeness.
    LOVE YOU, mike bedell. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/images/icons/heart.png

yeah cops are cool, pigs aren't, unfortunately theres been a lot of pork going around in the justice system....

on a positive note for primitive home building what do you guys think of this. I found it on mothernaturenews. No electricity or anything, now it would cost 256.88 to build. A nice little off grid cabin. Thinking about making these for guest houses or permanent housing on my future farm. :)

Also just curious how do you feel about communes/eco-villages charging people to vacation their and learn how to be off-grid and stuff for a few hundred bucks? I know some places you just have to work there and its free. On one hand one could say its a bit hypocritical, on the other hand one could say that it helps the economy and helps the eco-village stay afloat, and people can spend money on whatever they want.

If ppl want to charge for training folks how to be self sufficient I don't see anything wrong with that, if they can afford it, it's not harming anyone.

Working communes, where you live and work are sort of different. You contribute most all what you have to keep it going.

As I see it being done, the old ones teach and the young one do the heavy work.. It's basically, everyone contributes to the pot and everyone has enough bc if everyone covers their own butts then all butts will be covered.( or not totally up to you :) )

I think it would be cool to rescue my milk goat. When petfinder has goats, are they fixed like the dogs and cats or can you get them in tact?

I don't think there are any in my county, I know you can find em on craigslist. Not many farms around here, at least none that raise live stock, mostly corn. Thanks for the advice Mary I'll do a google search.
