It's Kenny. Cyril is gone, quite a while back. Somebody had talked to Boogie, he hates the name. And this ain't his type of thing. Nancy, someone might know where she is, I don't. One other of Cyril kids did come around here a few months back.

Steven is Long retired in Florida. 70's No computer. Says he might get one in the future. Who knows. If he dropped in here next week or next year, it wouldn't surprise me.

Everybody is spread all over the map. Kind'o like that. But some do check in, especially if you stay with it, across the months. You can understand how infrequent, just by flipping though the back pages here. A ton of folks and names. Spread out thinly over 8 years.

But we are lovin' that you are hanging. A home base is a home base. At least we have one. LOL

 

Very sorry to hear about Cyril. Figured that about Boogie. Knew People would be spread around. Thanks for the info. Great to find this site, Wondered what had happened with the Family. Glad it Lives on in Spirit as well as new People wanting to experience Brotherhood, Sisterhood, and the Idea of Love Experience. Was able to experience and keep the Idea's alive in all the Places I have Traveled and with People I have Met.

Hi Nailcakes, Underhouse? Oak st. Blue house by Cole St.? in the Basement?
There was a Table I Built there. It Took up the whole rear room by the Kitchen, it was so heavy 12"x4"x12ft. Planks all across the room and the length of it too. it was laid on 6"x6"x 8ft Beams. to clean it you had to stand on top and sweep it then Mop it. you could not put chairs around it but you sat on the floor and ate, just the perfect height. Is it still at the Oak st. House? Just curious. Cyril asked me to build it for Dinners for the Family when we had Grown and moved part of the Family to Oak st, from Fell st.

 

Kenny, Thanks, "Love Experience" always suited that time and "Experience" for me, so I have always tried to spread it where ever I went. After I left Good Earth, I hitchhiked around the Country for 10 plus years. Helping build other Communes and doing work in Gardens and such. Lots of Beautiful People out there, who were very kind and just down to earth folks.

 

Ya see Rich, even if we were all there at different times, or something, we ARE, All There. LOL, So to speak.

Yep, I was Hitchin around the country at that time. I left around 70' 71' came back saw Cyril, said Hi then left again.

My poor Hubilicious and I had a life threatening experience last eveing.

We were eating some country ribs.. the kind without the bone.. I hear this weird sound and am looking at Lynn, he just seems to be sitting there not moving. I watched him for a second or two and realized Something was Wrong. I asked him if he was ok, he shook his head NO. I asked if he was choking and he nodded yes..

OMGGGGGGGGG

Lynn is a broad man around the chest and shoulders. I am a little woman. I could not get my arms around him tight enough to do the Heimlich. Lynn was passing out on me. He was suffocating.

I mustered up all the strength I had screamed.. In The Name Of Jesus.. and slapped him as hard as I could on the back. A Huge Hunk of fat came shooting out from his throat and I heard him gasping for air.

When he could finely talk. He said he felt himself dying. He thought it was the end of him. He said he saw his own death and was in tears. I held him for a long time as he wept on my shoulder. He said I saved his life. He kept watching me the rest of the evening his eye full of LOVE and thankfulness I was there.

I have never in all my years seen my hubby scared and only seen him cry at funerals.

This was the second time he has choked on meat. The first time it wasnt as scary bc I saw it happen and was on it before he knew it.

This time tho. I didnt know it.. I dont know how long he had been airless bc he didnt make any jester or yell or anything, he was just sitting there choking.

I was never so scared in my life. I would die without my Lynnie

 

I had that happen with a piece of steak once and I was alone at the time. Scary! Everyone else was in another room, so I started jumping up and down and heading for the other room. Just as I got through the door way and people were noticing I was a strange shade of blue it dislodged! I stuck to ground meat for a few years after that until my gag reflex relaxed.

One thing that might work considering the size diff is a hard punch in the solar plexus. The effect should be the same or nearly so as a heimlich maneuver. If you need to try the punch try to catch him by surprise before he can tighten up.

Thank for the advice.. it certainly was scary there for a few..it makes ya stop and think about stuff.

Tell him that he eats through a straw from now on.
We're not prepared to loose him at all.
