Did you see the story that facebook is being sued for $15Billion Dollars. That's Billion With A "B". By subscribers, over privacy issues. Facebook tracks and records everywhere that you go on the web and records everything that you do on the web.

I am so glad that Zev is writing for the book. I hope that leads to more contributions from everyone else. Maybe if Zev were to request some entries from the Fam, we just may get this book finished by the end of Summer.. YaY!!

    Let's do it

We have so much potential that it's crazy.
I mean I know what I lived, and that's pretty neat. But there are all of these other flavors of the times.

Like Zev could paint me pictures of the East Village in New York City, over a vast time period. Paint pictures of Beat. Of early 60's vogue there. Of Hippie, there. Of the nitty Gritty. The inside track. The scenes. Shit that people, including myself, would die to know about. Being a musician I'll bet he's got tons of stuff if he thinks about it. He's got S.F musician stuff to. Some early good stuff.

He wrote his cross country to SF. Next was going to be his arrival at the Blue House, first impressions.

Tell, you what. Sag Darel left off at the exact same place. Walking up to the blue house. First impressions. WOW!

Me, Kenny, I don't have much till '69. A few earlier "out there" things. But nothing "Big City". My story is like the story of Jack the Giant Killer, who when old enough, walked down the dirt road and left the farm to go out into the wide world an seek his fame and fortune. Wide eyed adventure. While others simply graduated and got jobs, or went to Nam.

Wah has all of the epic tales of Oliver Twist. Cool street urchin guy. Huck Fin on drugs. He's the epic tale of the teen gone wild. The kid who did what others only wished they could do, and half of which they can't even begin to imagine. Wah. It's the story of… Running in the wind. All over the nation. He's like On The Road, on Acid. Move over Jack Kerouac. We have Wah.

Ranger, has so many damn tales that he can't tell you most of them. Yet the rest are great.

Ellen has some wide and varied killer shit.

And Prolific Cakes has her owe book. Truly awesome. And Unimaginable.

We've got some terrific shit that we've all started. It's going to all add up to awesome. Just a little bit more.

I wonder where our Ellen is? I know she has more in her. She is also a musician, she plays the bass fiddle and signs like a songbird.

Cheryl will catch up, she has been through it these past several months, she does have her hands full. Between her and ChuckMF they ought to be able to come up with some pretty wild tales.. only believable bc we lived them;)

I wanna know!!!write them pleaseeee xoxox with a cherry on top.

We were heavy hitters, all in our own rite. We conquered all obstacles and manifested magical events and happenings. We rubbed shoulders with the rockstars and legends of the time. We were influenced by great minds and developed our own greatness in our endeavors and attitude.

We were a melting pot of interaction with every walk of life and experience to draw from. We walked in the Light and help humanity through our efforts to keep love alive.

As quoted from David Talbot book, Season Of The Witch. He wrote a chapter on The Good Earth Commune called" Love's Last Stand". Appropriate depiction of our efforts.

We help out, the ones that stayed to improve things in the 'hood'. We had it going on like no other. We had it all. The Store on Haight, The Christmas Trees lot, the recycling center on Haight, the switchboard, the god damned independent news paper,The garage, the moving crew/truck, the food conspiracy, the paint crew, the plumbers and electricians and a day care..

We had crafters, silversmiths, leathers workers, artists, musicians, dancers and about every other thing you could imagine.

We were a community within a community.

I know out of all this, there has to be some story that comes to mind so, I am here encouraging you all to write something and send it to Kenny so he can add it to the book and fatten it up with the real nitty gritty of what happened after 1967, the so called Death of the Hippy. The Hippie Way will never die if we keep it alive in our book. The Church Of The Good Earth and what we represent should be preserved, all we need to do is take a little time and do it. It's not that hard, everyone has had strange, funny, sad, mind blowing things happen to them during our rain.

Now would be an awesome time to get started on your next story. The sooner we start, the sooner we finish. Do it as a favor to me bc I asked nice with a cherry on top :prettyplease: Do it bc you love our family

Do it because you want to.

A sincere saga from you heart, to your best friends. Spin your art. That lasts forever. Make your true magic from your soul. Kiss the world. Now, and forever.

Yeah, no one is talking to us.

But it's always been you and me here, anyways. So, we'll just "keep on keeping on", without them all. Fear not, they'll show. We're the energy of the party anyway. This time I'll dance on the table top. Whooo Hoo!

Roll in the next Underhouse keg.

I believe that. I know we are all chomping at the bit to write up a juicy/ artful depiction of the folly of our youth., the trials and tribulations, the enlightenment, the comradary , the belonging. All of it rolled up in a jingle jangle knapsack of experiences to share and remember.

I'll be glad when you and Mary Jo finish your editing so we can get that thing me and MJ talked about on the phone, the questionair thingy. I think that would help perhaps get some motors started.
