So, yeah. I read the whole e-mail that was written to Ranger.

Only the first two paragraphs seem to be about what "Losers" we all are. Least that's what was stated by the end of the second paragraph.

Hell, she didn't have to tell me that. I've known that I'm a big loser for the past 60 years. What else is new? And I've lived for years with Ranger. Sure, he's a loser, but I ain't going to let you call him that. And most everybody in the Good Earth Commune was a total loser. So, Saro, what business of yours its that? It ain't.

And I make typos and I don't know how to spell either. Ranger is always picking on me about that. But we don't for you to tell us about it.

Anyhow the whole big bulk of her e-mail seems to be about dead people who I did not know. It's all sad, and I feel of her.

BUT:
I don't get; what part of if you do heroin all your life, than you are going to end up dead from doing heroin, that she doesn't seem to understand. Like, who doesn't get that?

It kind of reads like, OMG! To find out that when someone had died, that it was actually from a lifetime of doing heroin and crack. What a surprise! How could that have happened?

Well I can see that there is a lot of tension here. GLAD I DO NOT facebook and I think I will again go back to lurking...or just stay away....(maybe like many)

I have always thought that if people can not find any good in each other then there will always be mistrust.

I TRULY hope that ALL (no matter who it is) will find peace for themselves as living in pain and suffering is never good. It is much eaiser to hurt each other than it is to turn other cheek or even ignore each other. But I suppose that as Human Beings we will always be closer to the urge to make ourselves feel good vs spreading good. Seems kinda funny that after the 60s/70s and all of the peace, love and the fighting that we HAD TO DO during our day we may have turned inward and decided to lay low...Nothing wrong with that necessarly.... you need to protect and frovide for you and yours.

But as a lookback from the (Rocky and Bullwinkle show) if we use Mr. Peabodys way back machine it is very interesting that the Generation that we spauned became the "ME" Generation. This anomoly SPRUNG FORTH from our Loins!

There is a passage in a song sung by a person who I used to work for. I considered him (yeah it was a man) to be a HUMAN BEING. He also saw that we could fall prey to the BS and it seems to be so so true. No matter how much I hope for peace and love. Here it is........

"They don't want to see us unite.....All they want to do is see us fussin and fighting. They don't want to see us live togather.....All they want to do is see us fall apart."

Looks to me like sometimes we all become part of the "THEY"

It's hard not to fire back when you're continually shot at. Nobody is Exempt from anger. Not even urber hippies, we all have our moments Chris. I am sure you do also.

As the fit was not aimed at you, it's easy to say that it's fucked up not to defend ones self. To just ignore it. Easy to say, not as easy to do bc as you stated.. we are all Human Beings.We have emotions, ortherwise we'd be Zombies. I am no zombie. I am real, up close and personal. I have feelings and emotions. I stand up for myself and my family. Am I not suppose to do that??

I believe that bringing things into the light clears the darkness and is there for all to see.. no behind the back bs.

I might seems tougher then some but I had to fight to survive, two kids and me. It wasnt easy, it wasnt always fun or politically correct but I survived and raised my kids on my own, until I married Lynn.

We do not fight, we do not quarrel. We are strong together.

I cannot help who I am. I like me most of the time. Hubby Loves me all the time.

Some run at the first sign of trouble, others stand their ground and fight for what is right.

It was enevitable that it comes to this. Ppl have their own agendas. They are all for the fun and kicks of getting back together but when you ask them for something, they split.

I'm tired. I have a lot on my plate. Yet I still find time and the want to, to come here day in and day out for all of you.

If we let this person come between what we have together then we never had it in the first place, it was all just for kicks..

 

Hey folks, what a long strange fuckin trip it is,the last 8 months have been i dont even know what to say lost my job sold everything i had all my art truck we moved to new orleans there 2 mnths now we're back in eugene at my daughters what the fuck at least we are all still together and i have my unemployment and pension comning erikas been hospitalised 4 times for stomach ailments over the last 8 months also. So will try to read most of the back pages to catch up but Hey Eugene people I would like to work if you have anything please post soon. peace i hope

 

Hi Cheryl, Rita here using Ranger's thingy cause I can't remember my password or too much of anything,lol. Sorry you have been having a hard time but now that you are back in eugene hopefully everything will fall back in place and like you said you are with your daughter which is wonderful and a little income.
