Dawn Marie seems to have flown the coop. I guess she was a drive by..lol
I have an email on 'Boogie' but she did not stick around or check in, so she doesnt know I have it.

Boogie said he and Cyril were seperated when he was twelve. Shills said Macramea Linda was Boogies mother, then wild bill said Linda's parents came and took him after Linda passed.

This would be a good mystery to write, Taurus Barbara would have written a huge book about the whole thing if she were alive today... damn the luck. Barbara was an award winning mystery writer, very famous. Just her name, would have sold our books..

We could of course include stories about her in Our book, since she was our sister and we did have many a High adventure with her. I can write a few, I've written about knowing other famous ppl of the time. So, I dont think she would mind if we included her in our memories. She was after all part of it. Most of Barbara's books were about the ppl in her life. I think also that she would approve.

Well now, we got us another writer, and Ellen is chomping at the bit. I have a few stories left to tell and I am sure there are ppl ready to start writting.

I miss Chris, he's barely around. I hope he is full of clever tales of old and ready to dig in. I do remember you saying you would try to get the juices flowing by Oct or Nov Chric <wink, wink>.. hehehe.. I know you have been on a quest to heal yourself and by all means do that, cuz the better you are, the stronger we are.

Kenny, you know how happy I am that you are back.. the place started feeling like a black hole swallowing us up. It's not easy keeping things going when there's nothing going on to talk about to ppl who are not listening.

Writers need and audience to write to most of the time. Me, I write bc I cant not write. I go into a state of total emercement into the Story. The events come pouring in and I type in a frenzy as it flows from my head to my hand and I write till every last word is written. I have an extreamly vivid recall mechanisum built into my brain.

I see things happen in motion, like it was happening right now. It's like a movie inside me, I write what I see as it replays in my head. It's super cool and in chromacolor

Whatever get's your juices flowing and you are motivated by Spirit, please start on your next piece for Our Book.

You can talk about anything your comfotable with. I know that everyone has Great Moments in their lives, write about that, write about living off the land and how to. Write about the birthing of children in buss's write about anything that is in your mind to write.

Starting is the hardest but once you start it comes forth, just type what you are thinking about, you can go over it when you're done and make changes if need be. You'll find as you write more material will appear from within and then more as you go forward and pretty soon.. We Have A Book. Just tell your story man.. that's all. Everyone has a story inside of them.

Anyway, just start.

I do wish that Rita and Ellen would start a back and forth conversation on here. That could be so cool. You never know. Paul could end up spending a part of his Winters in a warn place, and conversely Ranger might just live to see a few Summers meeting new folks in Vermont. What could that hurt??? You never know. And Zev could end up hanging in both places each year. Just like Mouseman does. Everywhere? Who knows. I'd visit. And I'd Take Lyn with me. :sunny:

I think that's what is good about being a Dreamer, if one dream doesnt work out, you can always dream up another dream to dream on.

I wonder if anyone else ever dream super dreams of what ifs...lol

yea we're still hanging out here in Florida but we've joined the ranks of the uneloyed (well,to some degree); being self employed means you have to create your own work. Our "oh so cool" kettle corn gig at the State Park fell through. Get this: We got "fired" cause we were too popular!!! Seems that our ketttle corn was selling so well that the owner of the concession figured we were cutting into the sales of their other offerings. After we were told (by his manager who loved us) that they wouldn't be selling our kettle corn any more (and this was one hour fifteen minutes after we had gotten a call saying they had sold out again and needed a big reorder!!) we tried to tell the owner that he had plenty of room to raise the sell price of the kc and make lots more $, but NO; he had made his "Custer" decision and wasn't going to reconsider. oh well. Now we're working on a new variation at a different location. If it works out, it will be wild; We'll see.

About "Boogie": He was not Cancer Nancy's son (although she raised him as such), and he wasn't Capricorn "Macramé" Linda's son. Boogie's mom was ( to the best of my knowledge) some sort of Hispanic gal and wasn't a US citizen. When she was made to leave, Cyril kept Boogie and when he hooked up with Nancy she raised him as her own. Cyril and Nancy had two girls, Hope & Heather. I never knew Boogie's birth mom; she was gone before I showed up.

I hope that sets a small part of that mystery straight.

Hey Mouseman, good to see you. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. That there has got to be other state parks and locations in Florida.

M2 UNREAL.....they cut you off!! AND they even needed more!! I have seen this before when an OUTSIDER (even tho you have probally been doing it for a while) brings a popular item to the party that all enjoy. EVEN tho the ORIGINAL Neanderthals are able to make money too instead of figureing that out they get freaked and power trip their position to "protect" their standing!! WHAT A BUNCH OF BS! And stupidity as there seems to have been the ability for all to make plenty on a good product, SO what are they going to do now push more snickers and other bs that will continue to fatten up the masses!!!

There is always something taking the JOY out of a commen sence reality. Did some conessioneer get a kernel up their butt or what!!!!

Here's the short version.

When I graduated High School in Athens Georgia (1969), I was still 16 years old. A friend and I had kicked around the idea of buying motorcycles and traveling West that Summer, but by the end of the school year, he was playing lead guitar in a band and had no intentioin of going anywhere. I hung around for a week or two until, one Sunday evening in June, I threw a few things into the trunk of my Dad's 1956 Ford and drove away.

As the sun was setting on the third day, I was passing through Albuquerque when I stopped to pick up a skinny long-haired hitch hiker who had a sign that just said "SF."

He was about my age, said he had been out to the desert for something called the "Gathering of the Tribes," and that he knew some people in San Francisco who had a place where I could "crash."

Those people turned out to be the loosely-gathered Marxist-Leninist collective (Armed Love/ SF Newsreel) people occupying the top flat of a building up on the 900 block of Fell Street. Just downstairs were the bunch who that Summer became the Good Earth Commune and rented the house at 1915 Oak Street. I moved into the Oak Street house when we made the move and lived there until some time in April of 1970.

I got a bunch of stories to tell. Looking forward to it.
