I planted an Apple Seed, we'll see what it becomes. The ground was laiden with frost this morning, I thought for a milisecond it was snow. bc the sun was just rising and it made the ground sparkle like it would if it had snown ( is that even a word) ;)

Kenny, I hope you get your computer fixed soon, it gets lonesome sitting in this big living room all alone. I recon everyone has been busy with all the busy stuff going on.
I did not doubt for a moment that you had your important material on an external hard drive, or something. You know what you're doing, it aint your first rodeo.

I feel axious to start the new year in antisapation of fresh beginings. This past yr seems to have taken it's toll on everyone everywhere. Hopefully everything will balance out in the coming of 2012 and we will all be healthy and prosper.

Snown. I did a dictionary search and a web search. I was hopeful. Nada. (nothing) Is nada a word?

    LOL

New beginnings. It's about fucking time! I've been waiting for years. Let's get started!
Out with the old. In with the New.

Me and Zev agree. We should all start saving our nickles in a jar so that we can all meet up at the Oregon Country Fare next July.
ROFL For me this is almost like cheating. Because I use to be into coin collecting many years ago, and my field of specialty was Liberty Nickles. 1883–1912. Nothing like having a big head start, huh?

So, ya'll get a jar and start to throw nickles into it. See you in the summer.

    Ranger. ;^)
We're using your van. I can share the driving with Rita. The cats are coming. Get a jar. You to Cakes!

You never know what's around the next corner. Life is like the Wheel of Fortune, sometimes it's in your favor and sometimes the odds are against you. Live it you must or die.

The yield of accomplishment is in the desire to suceed ( I made that one up myself)

Tho' circumstance may prevent actual physical pressence the Spirit is aways able to transend it's partisipation in the celebration/vibration.

Kenny, we can't use our van because the brakes went out yesterday....barely got it into the parking lot up in Frontier Village where we went for sushi...a friend towed it too the brake shop in prescott valley but he says the whole system is corrorded. To fix it will cost over $700 so we just need to get rid of it. Ranger wants to let everyone know that pises patty has shown up on the facebook church of the good earth.

Bev, Shills wife posted on facebook today...

Hi everyone, this is Bev, Shills wife. Just an update- Shills is out of the hospital as of yesterday after spending 12 days there. Both liver & kidneys are failing but he is feeling better than he was. When we went to the hospital on 12/19 he had so much fluid built up in his legs/abdomin that he weighed 290 and had celluitis (skin infection) from retaining so much fluid that his skin had stret...ched to the point of infection. After all the diretics & meds he has lost 41 pounds of fluid & the infection is much better though he is still fighting it. We are hoping to get him on the transplant list for liver.. but with failing kidneys not sure we can. I do update regularly on my own facebook page & anyone who wants to add me as a friend please feel free. You guys are his family & I feel like I know so many of you anyway. It's under Beverly Shillingford.. I have one under Bev also but I never use that one. He asked me to tell everyone hi & thanks for the love...

    Hey there Family,
Happy and healthy and prosperous new year to all!
I just got off the phone with Kid with whom I have not spoken in a long time. Well, it seems very likely that he won't be around very much longer; he said as much. Of course, it's his liver. Those of us who knew him back in the day knew that he played hard and gambled in some tough games with the wrong toys. Some of us had our disagreements with him and butted heads; god knows I did! Anyway It is another brother who is coming to the end of the trail (this time around) so keep him in your good thoughts. All the same is probably true with brother Shills: both of these guys played special roles in the flow back in the day. Our ranks are thinning, which is inevitable and OK but always a bit disconcerting. So spread the love, keep the faith, and keep on keeping' on!!

OH yea, I'm not scared of all you furry freaks showing up at my place for the Oregon Country Fair; In fact, I DARE YOU!! However it might be a good idea to wear name tags (like we did at the Woodpecker reunions) so we know who each other is; some of us look a bit different nowadays! LOL!!
    Peace Love and Good Vibes

Tiz' sad to hear about Kid. He was always nice to me. He did walk a rocky path..

Shills, on the other hand has come back to us and is improving everyday. He does not have HEP-C. He is still on the list for a liver transplant. He's got Diabetes. What brought Shills back is LOVE. His life is full with Bev and all the kids and grandkids that shower him with affection.

    Love keeps us all alive.

I have been leaving subliminal messages to my hubilicious that Oregon would be so cool to visit. Altho' it's the middle of his seasonal work, I may convince him that since we have not had a vacation in 6 yrs, that this yr would be the yr we take some time to enjoy life and have some adventure before we bite the big one.

We are basically sound organically but structually we suck.. Farming is hard work and will take it's toll on the body. Hub already has back damage from working the oil fields for 17 yrs. He's been disable since 87'. He blew his back out bustin' up a concret slab with a sledge hammer.

I have the HEP-C virus in my blood from the early 60s. I havent had any symtems for 42 yrs ( knocking on wood) It will probally will be what takes me out in the end. Untill then I plan to live and love till the sun dont shine no more.

We all rounded up here for a reason. Shit dont happen by accident. We were meant to reconnect and reconnect we did. There are still ones coming home as we gather here.

Maybe the plan is coming to fruit and we, the ones left will all meet up @ OCF and find out why we've been called back into service.

I would imagine the force needs us to finish the job we started some 40 yrs ago. We are probably needed for our Wisdoms and Experience to teach. It sure isnt for our physical power, lol, so, it must be for our knowledge.. Well, at least we are still good for something :)

When we relearned The Old Ways we learned the truth about the Machine that devours the Soul.

The Old Ways were when we lived by our own means. Growing and making tradeable items to barter with to sustain the Village.

Some grow corn, some peas. Some make clothing while others make candles, soap and whatever is needed. At Harvest you reap the fruits of your labor and with community effort and after you stock up for the yr. everyone goes to the Bazar to trade what goods they have left over and everyone shares in the wealth of goodness.

Our ideal Utopia. The Elders teach the younguns and everyone thrives and our children grow in a new direction of a peaceful and loving inviroment and we all live happily ever after :)
