We'll manage Kenny. Dont worry,Hunting season is coming up. I got Faith that something will give and keep us afloat. Fishing in the area is not so goos, the water is thick with mud bc of no rain. We really dont want to eat the fish bc of all the concentrated sludge in the water, it couldnt be good for you.

With the baby coming it makes things a little tight preparing for another little human being to raise. We will do what we can to keep on keeping on. I am sure there are ones out there more needy then we are.

We have the most important thing in lfe and that is Love. We have the pioneer spirit that keeps us going. The next yr will be better atitude. We will kick this dought in the pants and disreguard the devistation it is reaking.

We will look to the future and survive, we can do nothing else.

Or I'm going to spare change them for a Hundred or Two, once every two weeks for you. Don't go telling 'em that! Wouldn't you rather have $800 every two weeks and have every person type up 8 stories each real fast?

It would be a blessing if we could get the book going enough to bring in some investments. The economy is so poor that ppl dont have $ to spend on jewlery or beauty prducts, we're not selling puppies of late, ppl just dont have it to spend. It makes it tuff on a vendor sales wise.

It sure would take a load off my hubilicious who is killing himself trying to provide for 4 ppl on and income made for one. It breaks my heart to watch him try to stand and walk. Even as he is just in his middle 50s, he worked himself half to death in the oil fields for 22 yrs.

But we will hopefully make it another 18 moths till I can collect SS, if there is any left that is.

 

I just dont want to be a burden on my brethern. I know they would write if they could. I know that their fingers are all crooked from rhumatizum. I understand their minds are muddled from the onset of alzhiemers.

I do not wish to trouble them with my petty need of substenence I will humblly accept my fate and fast as a tribute to the real Death Of The Hippie.

Tragedy sells copy. A great ending for the book, No?

My Daddy was too cool way before cool was cool

The Hair addition was probably the most provocitive peice of my history but there is still more nailcake adventures to be told. I was in The Haight 11 yrs ( on n off) and these stories already posted are just the first couple of yrs.

 

I just read the layout, It looks great Kenny. If we could just get more hippies to write. I forgot to look at the page count but it is gathering pages.. maybe 100 so far?

 

Hello all..NOT TO offend and I KNOW times are real TOUGH! I post uasually in AM as that is when I make my Theebo for the cancer fight which is minor compaired to the guilt that will not make next month come any quicker! I under stand tuff times and writing is not as easy for a lot. MAYBE an Idea here will help you get the necessary amount of PRODUCT you need to begin the War and Peace of Amercia in the 60's and 70's. Let folks TAPE the storys and send them to you and then (AND I KNOW it is a pain to transcribe maybe but they are edited anyway) it would make it eaiser to get you more product for this. I explained that I would be providing to you in OCTOBER/November 1-2 months from now. I THINK I mentioned that a while ago?? That is when I can sit and focus because LIFE/Family (immediate Blood)/ALL trying to scratch out an existance will not need my immediate attention then.

I will be in Halawa then and will not have respond to the daily demands that having three Adult Children, their broke ass needs and their new Babies and their ladys who all live less than a mile away comming over to HELP them with their life issues. AND the stuff I MUST do to insure that I can take care of the brood when the shit hits the fan in a couple of years, which I belive is going to happen...But I digress..... I know, what a whiner right!! Write storys about my past, that nevers gets in the way of my staying alive and doing my curative needs. It IS hard in most places and even harder in others. That does not mean nobody cares. It WILL happen but it can be slowed down by guilting as that is not the movater that I have found that works for me. October/November begins NEXT MONTH SORRY!!!!

I began typing this at 8:25 as I was getting my theebo going and,,, well the rest does not matter.. BUT this took almost an hour to do as there were a lot of get up and come back to the post...Shit only 50 minutes! Writing a story would take me HOURS at this rate here in this house!! Moved this from BOTTOM of post to here so you do not get impression I was able to go on after I told how long it took. EDIT FEATURE

Do not want to upset the apple cart but I just want to let you know that October/November is October/November and until then I cannot provide what YOU need until then. Does not mean I do not love you but I need to make it to October and if I do not then you will get BUTKUS from me as to writing my past adventurse for this. AND if I provide storys shit DONATE any dough you get from them to others as I do not want the dough.... give it to others I will survive (Grateful Dead song as I recall)

Again if you want tapes I can talk to a box as I walk (crooked as that is) drive, or try to relax to focus on good cells live bad cells die, and record things WAY EAISER than trying to type with 2 fingers!! That is the best can do.

I will do that if still wanted but if October/November is to late then I guess I am a punkass who does not care about anyone but myself......OH WELL I guess I will have to live with it...

Still hope PEACE and LOVE to all weather or not that is what all want!! AND YES OCF OCF OCF weather you can or cannot it is a good vision ASK ZEV!!

I'm sorry, I dont mean to push too hard. I know writing doesnt come as easy for some as it does for others. No one is mad at you or anyone else.

I also suggested that ppl tape their stories.. heck send them to me and I will type them out and send to Kenny. I can and will do that for anyone that wants to go that route. Since I have no canning or anything to do except housework. I will volenteer my services and time.

it's finally cooling off here, still no rain but the blasting heat has subsided for the time being.

The Texas fires rage, the wind keeps pushing it closer and closer. It's hunger devours all that is in it's path, leaving devistation and dispare.

I hear so many say.. Let Texas burn.. why they hate Texas is beyond me. It is most beautiful and they ppl on the most part are genuine and extreamly hospitable. Altho 90% of texas is in disaster we recive no relief from the government bc of politics. Obama said he would not help texas bc we did not vote for him.

It seems that we that do not vote for a certian canidate, are non human and do not get any help from the elected if your not in their party.

Texas has been hit with so much lately. Katrina hurt us big time. We opened our hearts and homes to the victoms of her rath, our resources were used up. The illegals that are flooding us take the jobs that havent been already outsourced and the government will not let texas uncap their oil wells to keep industry going.

It is not just my family facing hardship, it the whole damn state.

 

Relocate. If I were dying of thirst I would go to where there can be water found. It only makes sense to Relocate.

You know how when they have a war and the battle moves into the city? Some civilians actually do leave and run off to the country. Most people are to set and settled and the thought of leaving the block that they live on would never even occur to then. So, even if their block is being blown up, they just sit inside.

Ridiculous.
