Hello ALL almost to page 300!! Cakes it still amazes me that you put this togather. Who ever imagined!!

Ranger, here is the straight poop re; "OCF, starting over". There is a lot of time now to plan for next year so the best way to get the "Credentials" is to be an SOP and that way you will not need to actually do any shifts but you will still have full access to Fair and be able to hang with the multitudes who are now part of the "Fair Family". The Day passes worked for many it seemed too as long as they were with "Family"

What I found was that even if you are not an SOP by staying at Mouseman and Heathers place you have the real connections and fun. It is a MAGICAL place. Plenty of space to hang and Bonfire, Showers, even COFFEE waiting for you in the AM. The donation to cover these things is so MINOR I do not know how they pull it off. But they do!! MAGIC like I said and WHITE MAGIC at that!! Dang I even heard BAGPIPES in the woods! For those who have experianced this sound before you know what that does to the soul/spirt!! For those who have not then you must experiance this!

Even tho I am a bent and broken man these days I walked into and back from the actual Figure 8 of the fair 5 different times!! Myself and ZEV were even talked into getting wheelchairs by Sheila (the fair folks have a fantastic "ALTER ABLED PEOPLE" set up) I resisted this at first but hey if the shoe fits.......SIT IN IT!!

The Zevster and I did multiple days inside the Fair where the Fair activities/Stages/food ect. are happening. We were able to use as Walkers OR Seats when we needed or wanted.

That was great BUT TRUTH BE TOLD it was the fact that we had the HAVEN of H and M2 (Heather and Mousemans)place where Family folks stayed. Zev, JD, Debbie (now called Cupcake due to an experiance she had that was a blast), Sheila, myself, Terry Lane, Tony, and others were able to congregate in our "own private place" that made it so so great for us geezers. Do not get the wrong impression there was also plenty of the YOUTS(young folks and some kids). I do not think that I could have done the OCF if there was not the haven provided H&M2.

I may be over stepping here but Kenny I felt that this was/is a perfect way to begin the RE-CONNECTING that is needed to make us all not only get togather and enjoy but also get togather and begin the DREAM again with folks who we spent time with in past times that started us all off on our multiple Journeys that we have embarked on!!

I KNOW that the spark has turned back into a little flame inside of me. And now I intend to fan the flame into a BURNING FIRE!!

Whoever can make this should. And for those who cannot (and we know all cannot make it) we could maybe set up a day/evening where we do a GROUP CONFERENCE CALL to re-ignight the spark in us all. This by itself can get us all moving and shaking again without actual bodily presence at the OCF. BUT if you can get there...GET THERE!!

As we all know (or should know by now), the more of us who can, must make the power of the connection. Then send the message of Cheer and Love back out to those who could not be there as it becomes EXPONENTIALY STRONGER.

Kenny I think a spark of excitement also helps many remember past stories that they will want to share for the book project. Also Kenny if there was anyway to record someone telling a story then it may be eaiser for some to add their "Story" to what you have begun! Just a thought to ponder and as always this is only my opinion. Ask ZEV, JD, CUPCAKE, Mouse and Heather. Terry Lane. Being there the TOUNGEs were loosened and many storys were told!!

ps I spoke to Brad yesterday and he sounded GOOD and I was stoked. He has not left the Mountain and he is working on the daily chores BETTER that two weeks ago!! may God (which ever one you may carry in you or just your energy) and all the Spirts continue to watch over him and keep this Spirt here for a long time! For those who may not know, Brad paints and creates some of the best Images of the Native Peoples of North America that I have ever seen!! I think you may be able to look at his work via a web site. Great news kids!

I'm Very Excited! I figured out just yesterday that I can save the Book Making program file as a real E-Book. Just like they sell on Amazon dot com for those Kindle book units that people are buying up like a storm. We'll be rich!
And by making money that way first we can pay for our own book printing with a book printing company. In other words, we will own our own ass. Not have to sell the book to a publishing company. We get to own it all! Too F ing much!

In our normal work (day job) we normally create a PDF file for [Press] and put it on a Printing company's FTP Site.
What I have been putting on my site for you guys to read and check of is saved for [Screen].

We'll do [eBook] first and sell ebooks and then do [Press] and pay a company to print 20,000 copies of a 500 page text book size hard bound book, then ship to a book distributor for wholesaling to retail stores.

Our problems are solved.
Cool.

Yeah, I only give out these kinds of web space links to US. It would be really hard to find that web page and the CLICK to the PDF file of the layout that you see, if you didn't have the LINK. A robot could find it but then a human would have to spend a year gong through everything that a robot could collect in a few hours. Too much to bother.

Yeah it is all buried deep in a defunct web site that I use to work on back in '97. I keep it all of these years just to show clients what their job looks like and for their changes.

I read the starting of the book and I do love it. and that's just the beginning. We have so much inside us to share. We have a story to be told and a damn good one to boot. I think the combination of each tale that all wraps around the same subject is interwoven genius. I know you are onna roll with this one Kennykins. I believe this will be the very thing that the ppl would like to hear about and live it vicarously through the Book.

Ppl I know we all got stories/memories from our cosmic journey through time and space. Wondering where Steven is and I know he has some wild tales to tell.. we gots about 25 of us or more here so we should be able to fill the pages on OUR BOOK quickly..so let's get busy andsend these to Kennykins so we can get the book finished and on the shelves.. I cant wait to get my copy.

I figure that if I write a story a week that is 52 stories in a year. Cool. I really will need this retirement income. Monthly money for each of us. Selling for years and years. Money for our kids when we're long gone. Who knows.

We divide by the page to get paid. So, everyone write a story per week. We could all use an extra check coming in each month, Right, Rita? So, write. Just think, a source of money that you don't have to keep working for, to get. It's automatic money. This could pay for your Or we gone Country Fair trip next year. Why the F not. We could all meet there, with Zev and Chris. All of us in wheelchairs. Just like the wheelchair Race on Cole Street!

I had eye surgery two years ago but it was for cancer. Seems to be gone but I'm blind in one eye. Alas. But the color of my iris is still pretty. LOL

Good Morning,
I do hope everyone had a beautifull weekend. It was hot enough to sun bake tomatos here.

It's going to be 108 today. It's so dry the frogs are farting dust. We need a break, some rain.. where oh where has all the fricken rain gotten off too. We use to be on the tropical rain belt and it rained every weekend. Then them tsami started acting ugly and threw the earth off is axes a smidgen.. well it was just enough to move the rain belt over and now there be no rain atall.

I am feeling more like myself these days, I dont know who I have been feeling like, but it wasnt me I was feeling. I am going to write more stories and may be sending them out by the dozen, just to keep up with 4 stories a month. You can only use 4 month.. one a week.. or I can send you 52 stories and be done with my entries..

I have only seen 3 of us writing. A book that does not make. We need some ppl to start writing here, c'on folks we all got em' in us. Something has happened to all of us at one time or another. Be it funny, sad or downright scary, we want it. We want you to write a long or short of the occation and send it on over to Kennykins via email.

We write stories here so why not there. Why should 'someone else' have ownership over OUR STORY, our book. So n so are writing a book and including The Good Earth Commune, other folk gleen what we post here and write it in THEIR BOOK.. We need to recapture the essence of who we are and what we are and write our own ticket.

I got a lot of stuff to say. Y'all have a lot of stuff to say, so lets say it inna story book of what really went down in the Haight in the 60's/70s. Let tell folks our envolvement and our political views and how we represented ourselves as HIPPIES.

It's not that difficult. We all have memories of this n that. We ALL got some tales to tell. So please write them down and send them to Kenny so we can get the BOOK on the press and out to the public.

Kenny which eye? so many of us have some of same "Conditions" I am blind in right eye!! Happen in 74 still has the color tho but the blind one will drift so I sometimes look like MARTY FELDMAN I think!!!!!!!!!!

Storys should be fun!!

Times then and even now are not always BORING that is for sure!!

My left eye.

I had Choroidal Melanoma, a rare cancer in the back of the eye where the light hits the receptors. In this image on this web page it shows a tumor (dark color). The bright yellow circle in the optic nerve that is going to the brain.

Unlike the picture shown, my tumor is right on top of the center vision point and it overlaps the bright yellow optic nerve. Too Bad. I'm a blind artist.

IF WE GET TOO MANY STORIES FOR one 500 page book, We'll do volume II and then Volume III and Volume IV and Volume V. Right. I mean it doesn't have to be limited to just this little group of family hippies. Right? There are other hippies that like MONEY. Right? I know a few in Santa Cruise. And at lease one who is still on Haight Street.

Anyhow, this is our chance to leave our legacy. With this, we shape the future of the World far beyond our life spans. We open minds, that are yet to be born. Magic! Power! Flight! Our Love Lives on.
