Mouseman, thank you for the pipering she would have loved it. We have a piper coming to play amazing grace at her graveside, like my mother and I will also have a piper, as it is our scottish hieritage. There is nothing more moving then a bagpipe.

Cakes I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you did all you could to make the transition easy for your sister ( and even had time to help me thru my bad time). I know all our thoughts are with you to help you stay strong.

Just got back from Mouseman's place where the feelings of friendship were as strong as ever. it was a high old time. The family needs to get together and next year we should, if we can, all show up in Vaneta to renew the family for the future.

hey & howdy ya'll. SH I love you, what else can I say? Ranger, Badjer sd. Rowdy passed a long time ago. Kenny, I'm afraid I didnt get your message about Ranger till just now. I would imagine all is in order at this point?

The Rainbow Gathering was better this yr. than in a long time, the feds were kept on a shorter leash than usual, not to say they didnt fuck up, but nothing compared to past yr's. All in all, a good gathering.

I'll be back in Tejas tomorrow night, see what I can do about gettin up to see ya soon SH.

I put my pics on my desktop and then go into my Gallery in here and click on upload pics then I click on Browse and upload from my desktop. If that helps. I am sure there is an easier way but I dont know it.. I bet Kenny knows.. Hey Kenny, help a brother out.

Well my first day home was sweet. I spent the day with one of my grandsons, and tomorrow night i have his cousins coming for the night! I love my lil guys, and we are havin one more, and this time we are havin a lil texas strong goddess! Oct. Woo Hoo!!! ya know if any of ya ever hits Austin and I am here and not off on one of my adventures,,, well ya would get a big old Austin Welcome! I think I should turn into a night person, it's much cooler in the eve.!!

Well DAMN.. I give up. I am pulling every last flower out of my yard and if the st augestine grass wants to turn brown and dissapear and leave dirt spots all over my yrad..ok.. I'm down with it. It's better then pouring water by the tons on them with no result. The Afternoon heat is so stiffling that it burnt them all smack up.
No fruit, no veggies, no berries, but only a few cucs. Everything gone. To hell with farming in a drought prone area. It sucks to be a farmer.. dont do it.. it is mind bending and not inna good way. Does everything I love have to die!?!

27 days over 100 some days it's 110 in the shade. No rain. Just hot air blasts from hell.

 

Ya know, Cakes, the plains tribes would migrate north and south. They knew better than to just sit in Texas all year long. Of course if it's a hundred in Minneapolis, then maybe igloos are in order. Like way north. Just a thought.

How about royalties from writing short stories??? If framing ain't paying out. We could have a book out in a year. Just a thought.
