Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

I could hitch hike or hop a train just like the old days .......maybe thats not going to happen but its a thought

 

It'd be fun to try.. not a good idea probably at your(our) age but a fun thought

 

We have a Huge room upstairs w/a bathroom. It could sleep 6 and can sleep at least 6 downstairs, the camper could sleep two or four skinny ppl. The barn can hold 3 or 4. We also have a tent that can sleep 4, there is a lot of room to pitch a tent in the back yard where the St. Augustine grass is like a thick cool green carpet under the trees.

The beer store is only 42 minutes and 17 seconds away and that's counting two pit stops. We are far enough away from town to have as much fun as we want.

With everybody there, no one will get bored with just me to talk to

 

I would look like those derelicts that would hitchhike in when I use to , the guys with a suitcase and pointy boots with "Texas" or something painted on the case.

As far as where and when.....we could find an old abandon victorian house throw some garbage furniture in it along with a liberal dose of cockroaches.
There should be a table in the living room with a tray of the cheapest weed imaginable.....full of sticks and seeds.
Maybe some murals on the wall and a tank of laughing gas.
Add happy people and cheap beer......music from Kenny.

umm, that all sounds great except for the cockroaches.. not liking them at all!!

reminds me of the time I thought I would bring all the roaches to "justice" I bought two cans of raid and went to town in our apartment (above the workshop on Haight). Back then Raid was the real thing ,I got on a roll and it was mass death, that was until Barbara (Counts Barbara) came totally fucking unglued on me. Seems roaches have half a brain and millions ran like hell into her apartment. I had half a can left and money was tight but a woman screaming was scarier then a million roaches

We're in Labor Day . that is if the rapture doesn't take us next week on the 21st. as predicted by some reverand somewhere .I also hate bugs so what should I expect? i've lived in West Texas wasn't bad there just occasional teranchillas, tumbleweeds, ect. But East Tx is different. I did ride a bicycle thru East Texas in Shreveport,La once. Didn't notice any.

We just got some pesky ole skeeters that think they dracula's minions. They seem to like to hang out in the woods and wait till sunset to attack.

I'll prepare us some citronella lotion, it works pretty well. I mean if you're campin' you have got to expect some little critters runnin' round enjoying themselves.

I am so glad you found us Ellen.. I been lookin' for you for 15 yrs.. glad you got here before the 21st

 

OBTW I have seen Shills and Diane both, not at the same time bc they have been divorced for almost 30 yrs. Diane has been to see me 3 times she's living in Encino cali. I dont think we'll see each other again tho. Shill came through driving a load to Dallas, he was a truck driver untill diabetes took him off the road. Shills has remarried for about 15 yrs now to a nice lady named Bev, they live in Gatlin tennesee.

I live outside of Quitman Texas. We farm a little and raise dogs. I hope we get to meet up again soon. I would love to give you a big squeeze.
