Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

It's kind of like the Hog Farm somehow became the Grateful Dead's associated commune. (I use the term somehow, rather loosely here. I know how.)

In the same vain "The Church of the Good Earth" was the Jefferson Airplane's commune.
(NOTE: This here Forum Space Commune.)

I was just thinking about this the other day. Weird huh.

Course I was a Airplane freak long before in became Good Earth.

 

What is next, to the above URL Kenny posted.. now I can see if it was a homesite, you know, a residence, but in a 'entertaiment atmosphier' where ppl are in and out, it's crazy. That would mean all places, where someone might hookup with something. Would that also include churches, as there are many ppl that gather there and what if someone had some MMJ and got busted. It would be a forfiture.. that's ghasly and totally unacceptable.. there are too many government agencies all with their hands in the cookie jar.

 

Hi all I have not read any post and if it has not been posted yet I just want to let all know that Big Steve (Bigfoot Steve) has passed and is now hanging with all the other brothers and sisters. Steve I know you are riding the Moon Beam Express Route and I will celebrate the fact that I was able to know you and spend part of my time with you.

I will miss him as will so so many others.

Before he passed he had J.D. playing music for him in his Hospital room and he also had some of his family, Blood Brother and Son with him. He was comfortable I was told and I am glad for that.

Steve watch over us down here and hook up with any of our other family members and friends who you may come across as you carry on my brother!

Tear drops are falling here at my house.

Just saw Mousemans post Take care Mouse and I am glad you also got the info so you were able to know that he was not alone AT ALL!

And also Thanks J.D. for the trips up to Roseburg. You are also a great brother!!

Big Steve was with family as he passed over. He will be/is missed.

On the subject of the url Kenny posted .......you really should all check out that url..........the Woodpeckers in Marks Meadows are beautiful birds........

No! Stacy is alive and I hope well in Fla. Big Steve was part of the crew that went to Ore, Kenny could clue you in better tnan I can.

It's starting to get a little quite around here. I think that I'll light a fire. (Under everybody) And we can all get together and toast marshmallows. Big circle. What do ya say? :grouphug:

 

All I have is one lil marshmallow left, we had hot coco yesterday. The grandkids love it.

I'm going on a creative spree and imma gonna start whippin' up some products to take to the March, Canton First Monday Trade Days. I have all my current products on consignment in a couple of shops, so I'll have to get busy and make some more if imma gonna have enough to display.

It's cold and rainy here, can't make soap when it's raining so I'll do jewelery. I hope everyone is enjoying the day

Hippie 60s Experimental?

 

Well guys, we're safe in here. No one comes in here and messes with any one. This is about the only safe place in the whole site. The Dragon Lady lives here ( that'd be me) and not many go where Angels Fear To Tread.. muuhhhaaaa..

All joking aside, this is the safest place to be.. There are some raging ppl out there that love to give hippies a hard time, you know how these younguns can be sometimes. There are always a few that like to pad their egos by putting us down, challenging us. Good Grief, if they only knew.

We can try and do that, but in chat there are regulars that run the rooms and if we came in like gangbusters they might take it as an envasion and not recive us warmly. If anyone of us got banned from chat I would have to open this big ol' can of whoop ass and start breathing Fire. Since I dont frequent the chat room, I'm not sure if we could make a private room.

And yeah, go ahead and try to round up these old hippies at the same time and same place without bringing a Keg and see how many show up..lol.. Whitney has the Tappers. So we'll have to wait on him to get back.

Cheryl and Rita can make up some munchies and Mouseman can play his pipes, Heather can send out emails about it. Zev can keep us all ROTF laughing with his comedy act. Ranger can dazzle us with his precious stones. Chris can set up the lighting to make the mood just right. Spud can bring the band. I will take the notes and Kenny can edit it and proof it, George can read it. SagDarel can cover it in leather, Shills can make us all cups to drink the beer from with our logo on them. Spacey Stacey can moderate and toss the I-Ching, Nabor can plant the garden with his brotanicals. Jehene can sew us a tapistry of it, Dan can be the DJ and spin some tunes. Ace can handle the door. Dana can be pretty and charming, JD can sign a song, Chuck can build a fire, WildBill can make a movie of it and we'll all party down.
