heather when do you think we will see more of those free glass pipe promotions? i am about to place an order and can't decide between getting a vapor genie and getting pipes at CGP. the lack of old promotions will be a big factor in my decision

This is getting kind of ridiculous guys. I mean this is why theres email.

 

Chunky glass ripped me off and will not email or call me. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! I mailed my money order to them back on 12/17/2008 then I saw that they were behind 7 to 10 days ok then it went to 21 days so i just sat and waited. Well then I emailed to make sure they got my money order nothing back. So I tried to call, nothing. Well then i went to the bank to check to see if the money order was cashed it was. So then I started the emails and calls again. I have emailed them a total of 7 emails and called and actually got through 2 times, NOTHING. So now I am starting an internet fraud claim. The worst part is the order was a x-mas gift for my wife so now not only did the order not show up or at least give me a call or email back I now have to go get a new x-mas gift for my wife with no money

Chunky has great prices, and pretty good quality pieces. I've placed three orders with them, and the first order i placed was shipped within 3 days, and received within 7. The second, however, took around three weeks to ship, and I was unable to receive a response via email about why they hadn't provided me with a tracking number. The third order I placed was a relatively large order, around 90 dollars. Again, I could not obtain a response from them for about two weeks, my order finally shipped and arrived at my doorstep. I opened the box to find that none of the pieces in the box were the ones I had ordered. I guess Chunky is sort of a grab-bag, sure their prices may be cheap and nice quality, but I'm guessing they're smoking too much "tobacco" out of their tobacco water pipes to run a business. Who knows, you may end up with a three foot tripple perc instead of the bowl you ordered if they're baked enough.

 

so have you gotten your stuff or what? how did you order? money order? credit? lemme know

 

I'm probably not the only one thinking this, but my guess is that CGP offers prices too low in comparison with most headshops, and that people check the internet as well as local shops before making their purchase. Since CGP has good looking glass at relatively low prices, some people make the decision to buy from them, rather then from their local shop. Now because of this (and Christmas orders), CGP is way behind on production and can't keep up with all of the orders being made. And because they have not marked anything as 'out of stock', or temporarily disabled their website, orders continue being placed and they will never catch up unless they hire more blowers or shut down their site until this backlog is fixed.

Now I'm no expert on business but what they are doing now makes them look like a really shitty outfit. Not answering customers calls and emails is a big no-no and I bet most of the people that have ordered from CGP will not place another order if theirs even shows up. People paying for expedited shipping and having their glass arrive a month later is unacceptable.

I would advise no one order from them until we start hearing some positive feedback, because as of late all I have heard of them is negative.

got an email with an order number and that it is going to be shipped in 4-7 days

paid with cc and they took my money already

site says it will hold all money untill order is shipped

mine wasnt shipped but they took my money

hopefully this isn't a scam and i am not getting ripped off

 

just got email saying it shipped through usps with tracking number

worked with usps and they dont offer tracking for the hurried up postage

took a couple of days to hear from them but wth them being busy selling can understand why

wll buy from then agan in thr future

 

I recently purchased a herb grinder from CGP Its been 8 days and no response to emails or calls I placed the order on 5/13/09 its now may 21 09 starting to get worried

just got my grinder i bought a 2 piece i got a more expensive 4 piece hey i'm not complaning

 

Just ordered the big pistol whip bong from them and they took my money and no email of a trackin # or anything i paid 96 bux !! wtF !

 

i made a purchase from chunky glass and i have yet to receive and email or any sort of confirmation of the purchase and its been almost 2 weeks. And yes i know the purchase was made because money was takin out of my account

 

i made my first purchase last saterday, i got a confirm. e-mail from Chunky, befor my order was sent, and a usps tracking number when it was sent out. other than it taking a few days for them to contact me i say they a good company to do business with. thanks chunky glass

 

i just got my pipe today in perfect condition, Chunky did a great job
