Fuzzy, buddy, your posts suggest that you have read the Bible, and are familiar with the Jesus of the Bible. So that's cool, you have at least read it. But in one thread you say Jesus is hateful and post scripture backing you up, and then in this one you say that Campbell is nothing like the Jesus of the Bible because he's being a pompous ass. I'm a little confused as to what your take is on Jesus. Do you dig Him or not?
I don't see that at all. He is no different than anyone else. He is just covered by the blood of Christ. Does that make him better.... not even close.... and he knows that. I just think this is your way out of his arguments that you can't handle. Kind of like when you say my arguments were meaningless cus i was to young...
When you ask those questions in the church and people look like you like the devil..... its because most people in the church do not know how to answer your questions. Many people in the church are week and do not know how to defend their faith. I encourage you to continue asking your questions in church. Like libertine says "Question authority"
Your "God" who gives "free will" will kill you and eternally damn you if you don't love him. Some "free will". But what is worse is the idiots who are too stupid to see the self-evident contradiction.
You do not desire to be in God's dwelling. It is a decision YOU make on YOUR own. For example, let's say that I am not close to people having a party, so I choose not to be involved. Instead, I find another place that the individuals do not inhabit. It is the same concept. You do not choose to go to Heaven, thus, you do not go.
God doesn't sent anyone to hell. God went out of His way and sent His Son to die for US....JUST so we can have a chance to ESCAPE damnation and be with Him. People send themselves to hell.
Lol. God does send people to hell, god created evil and hell. God creates the rules pal, and one of his rules was "believe in me and my son or you wont get to heaven" which means by default you will go to hell. No one chooses to go to hell, it's not like you are given any other choice than heaven or hell, there's no in-between. So if I choose not to suck god's cock all my life, and at the end of my life I choose not to go to hell, but am denied access to heaven, I am FORCED to go to hell. God creates you, knows all about you and what decisions you will make(exists beyond the boundaries of time) and thus ultimately knows whether or not you choose to follow the path which gets you to heaven. The people that don't get to heaven are created with god knowing they will go to hell. What free will? What's with Christians shifting responsibility around like mad. One moment god has a plan, the next moment you are sending yourself to hell?
Hell was originally meant for Satan and the third of the angels that followed Him when his ego took over. We were never meant to go there. But free will means that some will go there and some will not. GOd only wants true love, love that is born from OUR choice. Just because GOd knows whether we will choose Him or not in the future doesnt mean he made us choose. He's not going to stop the sperm from getting into the egg because the baby that will be formed will one day go to Hell. God made science too, and if the egg is fertilized, the cell in gonna start splitting up and multiplying. It's as sure as gravity.
First off, I find it odd that you call folks "kid" and "young". In 30 years when you are actually 45 maybe calling people that will make sense. That's been bugging me for a while now, if you are 45 then I'm Bob Hope. You spend most of your time telling people how bad-ass you are or telling people to go fuck themselves; not the kind of behavior that someone 45 years of age would exhibit. Anyhow, this is a perfect example of anti-Christians looking for something or somebody to hate, or imaging up a powerful dangerous "christian" enemy to accuse of various things and to pretend is somehow an exemplar of all Christians everywhere. Regardless of what your opinion of Campbell is, he is a dude on an internet forum. He is not some dangerous powerful "wolf in sheeps clothing". It may be fun for you to pretend that he is out to eat your babies or something, but the idea that Campbell is somehow a dangerous false prophet is patently absurd. That you have conjured up this notion that he is such demonstrates a gross lack of perspective. It is, furthmore, very silly to then attempt to turn folks away from Christianity due to the pretend machinations of your make-believe Campbell monster.
Professer, you have quite a way with words. Your name suits you. I think I have said the same sort of thing to ImFuzzyNutz when i starting hanging in here again. I have to say, that in this day and age i find more and more people in thier forties don't act like they used to. To put it nicely, they seem to have fewer characterisitc qualities. My mom will be 45 this new years and she is still stuck in her teens. I am very glad she didnt raise me, cause now we're more like aquaintances that see eachother sometimes at the mall or at a club. My point is, Mr. SMarty pants (hehe, sounds like i have a total attitude with that name of yours...) i have to say that although i agree with what most of what you said, (yet not everything) ..it should come as no surprise these days when people dont act thier age anymore. Online Fuzzy seems like a smart-ass, a cynic, and actually quite typical online behaviour that I;ve seen alot of...but he's not too bad. On His radio show, however, He sounds respectful and genuine, giving his wisest advice to help his listeners find financial freedom and encourages self discipline and setting goals to obtain it. I listened to it tonight for about half an hour.
