christianity is a dead end

Okay let me use Jesus' disciples as an example... they were EYEWITNESS of Jesus and everyone of them (excluding Judas) died because of their faith. But those who die today die not because they saw their faith first hand but because of blind faith passed on from generation to generation. Why would anyone want to die for JUST a Jewish carpenter... there had to be something more...

i do not worry about my eternity, i do not wait to go to heaven.
i lvoe living, but i am not afraid of dying becasue i knwo where i will go.
yes jesus will come back, but i beleive it will be a time when we do not expect it.
im not waiting for jesus to come back.
i know my life was planned and there is a purpose for my existance more than to live die and go to heaven

First of all, witnesses can be deceived through illusion, hypnotism or they could've just lied and been killed because of their lies no matter how much begging and story-changing they may have done in the end.

Secondly, I have no historical evidence (other than the Bible, a few late documents about Christians, and a few forged documents "by Josephus") to corroborate that there even WAS a Jesus or 12 disciples and there is even a contradiction in your holy writ about WHO were disciples.

 

its not acts of religfion or rituals that we find god, but opening up our hearts and minds!

Until there is evidence which is solid and not based on:

Circular Reasoning
Threats (of hell, etc.)
Appeal To Emotion
Appeal To "Authority"
Pseudo-Science
Unproven exaggerations (we found Noah's Ark!!, etc.)

Religion is nothing more than a fear and guilt based institution used to control the "masses" of sheeple.

 

i went down that route and doubted god before i commited to him.
i liked to believe there was a god but i used to think that it was maybe sometihng i could never be sure of......there was no proof for me to believe back then.

but now.......god has been in my life and changed my life for 6 years now, and i ahve no reason to doubt him

 

i dont follow religion, religion is man made. gods intention for us is friendship.
jesus himslef hated religion becasue it emant that people could not have freedom!

 

im open to god.
my mind was open to anything when i was searching for sometihng that would make me complete.

i found god 6 years ago when i was about to take an overdose.
for the 1st time i actually talked to god, didnt know him, didnt talk to a priest or even go to church. jsut me and god in my room.

and believe me i never said nice things, i blamed im for all the things that went wrong in my life which i was sick of at that time, and i said ok if theres a god show yourslef, do something, and he did

The Bible speaks the truth, and it appears you have placed your faith in a questionable scientific theory. If you want to play games with your soul, thats your decesion. Sorry friend, I don't buy it.

 

I have sinned many times, no arguement there. And God does forgive His people.
The question is? Who are Gods people?

 

There is no such thing as a good and pure person. Jesus said all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. There is only one way to heaven, and I can tell, you don't know it.

 

Salvation is simple, yet Jesus has stated, that most of the world is headed for Hell. So just roll up another one, and enjoy THIS LIFE. So many will horrified, when they open their eyes in the next one. Yet you might wonder if you are doing everything that the world is doing, why would you go to heaven, when Jesus has said most of the world is not?

 

Well you know most people donot believe that God split the Red Sea so the Children of Israel could get to the other side and escape Pharoah. Well as it turns out, just a few years ago they discoverd the crossing site. And divers have found the remnants of Pharoahs army. If that story is true, why not the flood.

 

Do you think it was possible that God split the Red Sea and let the Jews walk to the other side, and the Pharoahs army was destroyed when God let the waters return to normal? Not many years ago, they found the crossing site, and divers have found the remnants of Pharoahs army. Also the have discovered extra Biblical writings carved in stone at the site describing what happened there. The first thing you learn in Sunday school is, all things are possible with God.
