Teenage girls? "They may not have a brain in their head but they do know all the boys want to fuck 'em” - Movie quote Crimson Tide (1995)
Frosties and fries is one of my favorite meals. And yeah, I mean actually dipping the fries into the Frosty
That's a lot of heavy, starchy, sugary food. It's a gut bomb. Plus, I have a dairy issue. It's not pretty.
Politics aside, it's okay for a fast food chicken sandwich. Would eat again if free at an event, or starving during a road trip.
They still don't have one within a short distance to me. Been to one at Mohegan Sun Casino a couple of times. Still not open on Sundays either.
Yea, it’s because the CEO is Christian and Sundays are considered the “Sabbath” in that faith. I like it but haven’t had it in a while. They have better tasting chicken than most fast food places, imo.
I love their waffle fries! They were supposed to build on the Berlin Turnpike (US 5/CT 15) in Newington, CT, at a former Ruby Tuesday location. So far, the building still sits abandoned and empty. Closest one now is Southington. Been to one in Enfield a couple of times (off of I-91, roughly 3 miles south of the MA line).
don't go to an airport location though. i forget which airport it was, but that was one of the worst fast food meals i've ever had.
i don't think i've ever seen a chick-fil-ay. there's a popeye's though, which seems like an odd name for a chicken place, being as popeye's power up was a can of spinnich, and i somehow doubt you can get a side of spinnich in there. now wimpie's for a hamburger joint made sense because popeye knew a guy named wimpie who was always eating hamburgers.
I've had good airport food before. We were on our way back from London, still at Heathrow and there was this little place called Pilots Bar and Kitchen. It was good! I had so much food though. I ordered a Superfood Salad, and then for dessert I had tea and scones. I thought the scones were going to come with ice cream from the picture, but it was butter if I remember right. Anyway... That's my airport food story.
An obligated day of rest. One christian tradition i can live with fine (and hey, i go grocery shopping on sundays too). A lot of businesses would prefer to adhere to this tradition (not solely for religious reasons) but are forced to be open out of competition.
Yea, I think it’s probably appreciated by employees too. It’s ironic that they are open for business less than their competition, and doing better financially than their competition.
