Wait. I think I already knew this. And I either forgot or compromised my integrity for chicken strips. I remember there was a big stink a few years ago when Thomas Menino wouldn't let them open one in Boston for that reason
I've only been there a few times and gotten the same thing everytime, the spixy chicken deluxe. its pretty good, but i prefer in n out.
My nephew in law was all excited about getting a Chick Fil A franchise so we tried it. It was fried chicken. Nothing special, we never went back.
Ive a sidejob reviewing fast food, most I dont eat. but sometimes will try if its a decent place. I wasnt super impressed with the food at chi-filet brand. Ive had better chicken sandwiches from bars .. It is what it is tho.
I was wondering why there was always lines wrapped around the corners every time no matter when they were open. I thought it was because the food was good. Maybe this explains it more. I didn't know about the background stuff. So let me get this understood. You will not use or participate in something you don't agree with politically? Fine. I get that. When others do the same, you'd be OK with that also? Like if someone doesn't like a group of people because of their beliefs and they wish to isolate themselves from them, you'll understand and not resist it then right?
Are you really trying to argue over where how and why people choose to spend their own money "Voting" with your dollar is one of the best things you can do. If the Chick fi la guy wants to throw a ton of money towards anti LGBT legislation why should people who are against his political mission throw money at him?
I'm not at all. I have no problem how people decide to spend their money or what they which to support or not support. Just learning that politics has entered into the Fast Food Industry now.
They built the first chick-fill-a in Oregon last year in my old neighborhood. Right before it opened, I moved to the opposite side of the state. So I’ve still never been to one before. My favorite fast food is Muchas Gracias.
I've never really been either, both because I don't eat chicken and that there are businesses I would prefer to support. BUT. I did try their fries once, and they weren't bad. They opened the first one in my state recently, and people LOVE it. It's been crazy busy since day 1, although it has been dying down a bit over the past year or so.
What makes Wendy's and Five Guys "higher end"? I guess I would picture "higher end" as Chipotle or Panera. I think of Wendy's as on par with Micky D's or BK as far as the quality of their food.
I feel like I'm being baited into a comparison that only works if I were spending my time and money trying to shut down Chick Fil A, because, oh, I didn't agree with them being closed on Sundays. I'm not. He doesn't have to come to my wedding. But who the fuck is he that he should try and stop my wedding? Why are straight people so obsessed with taking gay people's rights away? Serious question to anyone who opposes gay marriage.
Just have to remind those who are against gay marriage, that with gay marriage also comes gay divorce. So why not? I brought that up to some people I know, and I’m sure it made them reflect on their beliefs regarding this.
