glad you confirmed that orison, i heard the stories but have never actually seen anyone bleeding in a pool. closest i have seen was when my sister banged her head underwater when she swam into a dock in a pond/small lake.

 

Splurged on a gel nail polish kit.

you should tell baseball players what you use. they use nailpolish to make the signs to the pitcher more visible but i am sure they wish they had a way to get it off quickly. well all of them except for mike piazza at least. but since he is retired....

 

I think it's a combination of shitty nails and doing lots of rough things with my hands. At work, I'm constantly sliding my hand inside fully stocked packing boxes, riffling through 834 pcs of metal dodads and the such. Lotta hand abuse and hang nails from hell.

My cuticles have recovered with my time off, so it's the best time to try this out. It's supposed to last for two weeks. I'll be pleased with one. If it can survive around-the-house work and crafting, it may have a chance at surviving work.

The closest I came to this was being in a sauna and going out into the snow. That was many years ago.

 

I am watching my son disassemble his car to replace the clutch. He is stuck on taking off The bell housing or removing pilot bearings or SOMETHING. There is a problem with the right tool not fitting.

He has a total of 5 jacks holding up the car. Lol. Watching and listening to this is very stressful.

I am using his ipad, so I have learned how to do that.

I know all about the multi-jack approach. We used to park halfway in the driveway and use a few of the basic jacks the spare comes with to hold up the car and angle a little extra room. Lucky we did not get hurt.

It is not safe, but it is many thousnds of dollars for an automotive lift like you would find at a mechanic. But messing with rusty bolts when you have 6 inches to work with on your back is much harder then being able to stand.

 

Its been many years since I have had mushrooms. I would like some right now I think. Lol

I KNOW I would like a smoke and a drink, but I'm gonna sit right here all nice and calm...waiting to do whatever I'm asked.

 

He went and bought 3 different jacks (hydraulic and 2 three ton) and a transmission jack, plus wound up putting 2 more under there some kinda way. Ha

He researched it over and over...but it's turning out different than the vids. Good thing he's patient. I'd have been crying.

 

Those are better then what I used at least. It's probably still cheaper then a mechanic. The Toyota dealer here wants $105 an hour in labor.

She may just be clever, but she also possibly has the ability to be a totally different person at a moment's notice.
