maybe the sensor is getting old on that one meter. It sits out there forever . I took the other reading with a carry around temp meter. Its much more accurate..

I think its carb.. I dont run my ac much in the car, I dont really go far enough. I only use it on the open highway. As I can tell there is a major difference in air flow. as well better aerodynamic for the car...

I dont like people that let their pets do that.. Dog gets hit with an insect at 55mph it will lose an eye..

Saw a dog get pulled from the car and killed because the idiot drove too close to a tree and the dog caught a branch in the head. Police gave the guy one hell of screaming at and cited him. Should have smacked him upside the head with the branch.

OH MY FUCKING god!!!! I would probably kill myself after witnessing something like that.
I hate what Orison was talking about. and I HATE when people drive on highways with their dog(s) in the bed of a truck...holy fuck that dog could (COULD) jump, or fucking get tossed around ....omg i'm an animal lover

    that poor poor dog :(

oxygen sensor is worth replacing...they control how much fuel you use

find out if there is a reason it went bad though or youll be doing it again soon...most common reasons are recent gasket repairs with non-sensor safe sealants ..coolant leaks/coolant entering the exhaust stream....and clogged up converters

there is a park here called Riverview park. Its one way and 15mph, wide enough for 2cars to travel, with bike lane.. I can see maybe letting the dog hang out the window there. No poles, trees are back some since grassy areas for picnics and stuff are all along the road..
I wouldn't speed though with a dog out the window.
I really dont take my dog to far in the car because it can not wear a belt, and any crash could really hurt the dog, more than me..

has been a little bad on fuel lately, but I broke the engine in a few weeks ago, havent had it over 85mph since the new engine was in it. So I may have chewed up some gas there..

think Ima get some ice cream.. I used to live 2 streets from here. now I have to drive to get there, not far but there is a road closed so its kinda a pain, although tasty freeze is closer.. I hate going there cause I see people I know. Im not trying to fucking talk!! Im trying to eat ice cream.. geeze.. [IMG]

the other common cause of o2s failure is getting bumped/damaged when changing engines lol

also if it has an o2 sensor I highly doubt it has a carburetor...there were some that did have feedback carbs back in early 80's but they are few and far between now

Because I lived in colorado for 3 years and moved back at the end of last summer.
I usually like Texas weather and winter here can get a bit chilly (to me) but the summer is pretty gnarly.

mine has a 4.2 inline 6 cyl with aluminum block and cast wet sleeves...it a vortec with vvt ...hydraulic computer controlled variable valve timing..285HP

the best way to describe vvt is like those old dirt bike when you feel the "power band" kick in...you're going like hell and then all of a sudden it feels like a second boost kicks in :driving:
