I have been napping on and off all afternoon and evening...so I'm probably going to be up most of the night. gad

When I feel really sleepy, I just can't (and won't) make myself stay up...learned long ago that when I do that and it's time to go to sleep, I can't sleep.

I just finished watching an episode of "Modern Family". That is the most hilarious show. I LOLed!

I've decided the only way I'm really motivated to totally get this house clean - everywhere - is to expect company. That way I get in a frantic dither and go like a freight train until I'm about to both drop and lose my mind...but things will be clean, or appear so anyway. lol I also have to be willing to face The Mother, and by face her...I mean willing to argue and deal with her following me around YELLING. I just have to: a lot. lol...yay for character building.

I know I need to do a Big Clean here and that is what has me thinking about that.

 

lynn sounds like you and i are in the same boat again.
i spent to much time out yesterday that by the time i got home i was to tired to do any real work so i caught up on the shows on my dvr. while i was out i passed by an estate auction, stopped to see what they had and they were just auctioning off two book shelves. got the small one for 5 and the bigger one for 10 (would have gone up to 15) that will help in getting organized i think. and now that its sunday with nothing to do i will get some organization done around here dagnabit..

 

Book shelves are some of the best organizing tools in the world! They not only give books a place to go but you can put Lots Of Things on them.

Down in the scary basement here, I even have a deep set of shelves I use for material things...which reminds me I need to gather all that up and wash it. Anything that lives in the basement has to be washed periodically or it'll begin to smell. lordhavemercy

 

no basement here, although the attic is good if its not something the squirrels and birds would want. (i really have to seal the attic up)

No...can't think of anything I want to tell.

But there is LOTS of stuff besides books (or dead bodies) down there. lol

Sometimes there is a musty, not quite mildewy smell.

I'll tell a secret in a minute about the basement...yeah, by secret I mean telling everybody on a world-wide internet forum. ha

 

We have an attic, too. You go up there by these pull down steps. I think there are 6 or 7 steps. I'm more scared of the attic than anywhere in the house...and that's saying something!

One time we found a LONG fat-looking snakeskin up there. but that isn't the only reason the attic scares me.

 

Yet More Bodies....???

no really...it'd be too hard to carry a body up those steps and then find a place to stash it.

The resident ghost said her body is buried in the dirt at the back of the basement.
