took my mom today to one of my favourite places in the world

found out my grandfather (that i never knew because he died young) used to live near there and loved to spend afternoons just sitting there like i do

also she thinks he might have met my grandmother there

also they spent a lot time there when my mom was a kid..good place to picnic with a bunch of kids


also she says thats where my brother in law proposed to my sister...i had no idea (kinda explains why ive met him there having lunch a few times though)

another weird coincidence about that place is its where i brought a girl friend (notice the space) for lunch once and she said that was exactly where her real parents handed her off to her adopted ones (i thought that was maybe weird for her to be there and offered we go somewhere else but she was totally ok with it)

our favorite sushi place which we spent 130.00 on our order. we went to get some our stuff we didnt eat boxed up , come home and found 2 rolls along with our leftover stuff, and a note saying thank you for the business we appreciated it .. technically we paid for the rolls because we give them a 25.00 tip.but the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing .. wait staff is superb, drinks are hard and not watered down, presentation is fit for a king. it just isnt the store bought stuff.
