i had the same trouble with another post. earlier it was a bit strange no matter what i did it would only let me quote next to the picture and not under it.

right now i have a 12 chevy cruze i got it 2 years ago though when it was new. still have 3 more years on most of the warranty stuff. i considered a kia when i was shopping around all things being equal they are pretty close to the same. but the price of a kia with a few options brought the price up to be the same as the cruze with similar options so i decided on the american built car. but if you dont care where its built the kia does have that 10 year warranty which sounds great and is great but from what i hear it dosnt cover as much as other manufactures.

i had 2 vehicles before the cruze i had a 99 sebring convertible and a 96 ford f-150 the pickup was just garbage, i know the previous owner and i am pretty sure he fucked with the wiring when he tried to put in the radio so it wouldnt keep a charge in the battery. i had the alternator changed and batteries changed and it still would have no power after it got jumped. the guy i sold it to had a better mechanic than i did and he found it was a wire that was in the wrong place. the sebring had a leak in the roof so it was constantly getting flooded when it rained. i could hear the water slushing around if i drove any time after it rained. there was a hole near the break and if it rained for a few days the water would come up near the break when i stopped quickly. i started covering it up but eventually it had a motor problem that was so expensive that it was cheaper to buy a different one so i sold it for scrap. it had a few other problems too so it was an easy choice to move on but i am really wanting another convertible. that will likely be my next car purchase....that or a pickup so i can actually move stuff when i want to.

I greatly miss my truck, but wouldn't trade my Crown Vic for anything! If a person keeps their "hoopty" up with regular maintenance they aren't any worse than any other car. I'll take my no-payment car EVERYTIME over one with payments.

If I were to ever get flush (which I'm seriously doubting will ever happen), as a 2nd "car", I'd want a pick-up. I've had a couple of trucks and they were all sticks. I'd want an automatic if I were to get another.

i was on a site one time when i got into it with another member about a song. so i said dont clog the thread with your wining send me a message instead. so he sent me a message and it was a year sitting in my inbox and i never checked it. he stopped going to the site and the site had an update much like this one had and that message has been lost forever now. i will never know why he was being a winy bitch just because i didnt like some shitty song as much as he thought i should.

 

I need to ask this stupid question...at the bottom of this page (under the "Reply to this topic") are lists of past chat threads and beside them it says

They are locked, so why or how can they be

I guess I thought that HOT meant you could post in them, and they were being looked at a lot. Anyway, I'm apparently wrong about that. lol

 

A lot of notifications are when someone is updating their status, which it seems some people do on a daily basis...even twice daily basis.

All notifications at the top of your page don't necessarily have to do with you.

 

the hot thing is automatic to the posts per hour that were made in the thread....may be posts per day...not sure which.......

for eample...lynn...you are hot....doesn't mean I can just come along and....haha
