    i'm up to 31 notification....gee I womder if any are important.........someone could be saying ''I wanna bang rollingalong'' and I wouldn't know it because i'm not clicking there anymore

    i'm now finding the main page to be better for cruising for threads with recent replies.........I like that it shows it on the right side

    The third and final air-conditioning unit has left the building... Nice having a morning sun window in the guitar room.


    1950's and 60's Anderson windows are a marvel of engineering... Why can't we make stuff like that anymore?

    i dont dry all my clothes in a dryer most of them i hang outside to dry and they dry pretty fast

    I put a piece of paper behind the glass soo you can see the symbol ....
    It's on every frame and every window....never noticed that before

    bought a truck for salvaging

    had to take it home because i dont like having more than one junker at a time in my buddies yard...

    Yeah.... House wasn't built for central air, not needed. Someone added window units later and did a hack job. At least they saved the old windows for two of them. The third I used a close match and it looks great.


    And, yeah misspelled Andersen... Spell check don't catch that.

    I had one andersen window in the old house. probably the best addition to it. and they stopped there..

    evaporator on one the units here took a piss all over the floor before I noticed. fricking stinkbugs clog drain line...

    The old Andersen windows were solid hardwood frames with brass and steel attachments. Some were casement (with the cranks) others just swung up and stayed where you set them with no cranks or holding rods. (no crank on this one I just replaced.)


    I put this one back in place and it worked like day one. Frickin' magic.

    oohh...fancy pants Andersen windows....mine are pella windows.....Andersen knock offs lol...Ottawa company........

    just cut 2 limbs off my biggest rotting maple but they aren't as beefy as I would like....maybe 2 weeks tops of wood fuel.need about 9 more bigguns and then these maples will be trimmed down to minimum......they been neglected for years and years and I am taking advantage of it
