I have a guitar with Nashville uning...I thought it was the same as tuning a normal guiytar but is 2 octaves higher....or 12 frets...if that makes sense............the top 4 strings are all tuned but the next 2 seem impossible to yne to those other 4???

what am I missing....dude told me chords are the same...just twangier???

 

hard to tell, unless we know the string set. usually the G is a lower gauge than the B and E. but tuned higher. making the B and E sound lower .. cant really think of songs for that. but I would probably pick something like acoustic zepplin, neil young..

 

I figured it out....same as just the top 6 from a 12 string....tomorrow I get the 6 string banjo

 

Its real hot here. Extra hot in the control room where i work because the AC broke

I just stormed out of my psychiatrist's office shouting "I'm not taking this fucking shit".Guy is a complete dickhead.I just asked him to write a letter supporting a pension I'm applying for.He was like "Well that's not really my job" e.t.c...Your job is TO HELP ME! I'm now having a stiff vodka to calm me down.

 

anyone have plans this weekend?.........I have to stick around here but I am hoping to attend the Kingston fall fair on the mainland....plus the big ploughing match is this weekend here on the island..........

I was driving to town yesterday and I pulled over to see if a dude walking wanted a ride.....everyone stops to offer walkers a ride into town because walkers are usually headed that way.we have several elderly stubborn people that will walk the 10 or 12 kilometers to town on a regular basis

this dude was at least 80 and walking with a way cool home made cane/sick thing......he was walking to his sons farm to get his plough and shineit up for the big match....refused the ride too....wanted to walk

 

You have big plans this weekend .....there is a fair here on Sunday

 

Just logged on with the desktop system I put together yesterday... Hopefully I'll put that laptop into semi-retirement soon.
