I'm gonna blame last years weather... At least about those little orange ones, they ain't healthy. (poor things)



Found a matching cabinet today for my kitchen... Same vintage and brand as the originals. The size is right for the "missing" piece next to the sink. There are a few more pieces available but I'm outta cash.


New doctor seems okay... She hasn't seen my old records so doesn't have much to go on. At least the chronic pain everywhere didn't cause that "deer in the headlights" stare most doctors come up with. It shouldn't ever be a deal because I don't want pain meds, but they usually just stop thinking and listening at that point. I don't know what bloodwork she called for, so I have no idea where this is leading.

 

blood work is just a way for them to act like they are interested in your well being.. and bill ya for bullshit..

 

mine always say "wow your iron levels in blood is higher than ive seen"

Never said bloodwork is some kind of magic cure.

I do have to maintain a doctor though, and I haven't had one for over a year. At least now I have one.

 

we all die sometime.. where your eat chicken nuggets from mcds or organic grass fed beef...

 

my doctors are on crack. my VA doctors were on something worse. thankfully Ive nothing left for them to get. they can screw another vet. im done being fucked for free..

Ty, there are so many things you have found/bought that have been made perfectly for your house, a vintage house with specific types of wood, measurements, etc. A house one would think that it would impossible to find replacements such as what you've just described in the last couple of days.

Windows and frames and cabinets and doors, and dear God/ess I can't imagine.

I think this is wonderful about the new doctor. I also do not think blood work is the cure all or whatthehellever; but, its a dang start.

You can tell and if you're glad you've got her, I am too.

I have always been able to tell about a doctor - or almost anybody, unless I was thinking with my nether regions as my memory banks say - BUT within the 1st 10 minutes I know if a doctor is right for me. really the 1st 5 miinutes tell me...10 minutes makes me sure.

I had that bad feeling with my soon to be last doctor. But i thought i would give him a shot being i havnt had a whole lot of experiences with doctors i figured maybe i was judging a book by its cover. But no i should have listened to my insticts and dropped him after the first visit.

 

i find that some doctors are just doctors. sort of generally acceptable, but nothing to write home about.

some doctors are fucking great, they really care, they listen, they want to help you. my dentist, my OB/GYN (saved my life, and helped a lot of people i know)

some doctors are so shit they shouldnt be allowed to call themselves doctors. when i was pregnant with my boys one of the other doctors at the practice had to see me. he walked in and said "so you're here to talk about fetal reduction?" because apparently he thought it was funny. i was shocked into silence. i will never speak to that fuckhead again.
