I think i might need work. If i was a millionaire i might be liable to be in an altered state 16 hours a day or more. That would never end well.

Today I wasted the majority of the day. I feel great about it, too. lol I'm off tomorrow too, so I'll have plenty of time to do stuff, but I might start with some late night firecrackers, shortly.


Now I'm awake and should be sleeping...the past few nights I've been shutting BB out of the room where I sleep because she suddenly decided she AGAIN needed to take a piss on the sheet on me the other night. gad AND THINGS HAD BEEN GOING SO WELL!

Then this evening I had a very late, longish nap (hence, I'm here) and I awoke with her in her usual place...beside my head, resting on my shoulder.

what a nice morning.....dump run today.they are changing out dump from a landfill to a transfer station............no more plowing the garbage into the dirt in a giant quarry....now they will be trucking the trash off the island in bins....we will likely have a limit on bags from now on

 

Those 3 bucks are back... Bunch of deer territorial stuff going on out there.

I once saw a bunch of men competing who made the best territorial deer sounds. Well actually it was about the sound to attract the female deers I think. But it was intruiging nevertheless

 

Someone hit a deer just over the hill from me this morning... It was still alive as I was headed to town. Sheriff was there on my way back... I don't know if it was one of mine, or if it was coming from the other direction. Seriously fucked up that Honda. It was a big deer.

 

A couple of years back my sister was going to work (hospital, night shift) and a deer came out of the bush. It totaled three cars. The one in front of my sister hit it, it flew over the top of the car and hit my sisters and then over hers and hit the guy behind.

We live close to and the highway goes past Larose forest area so deer and moose at night is a common thing. Scary at dawn and dusk also as they are crossing over to feed on the other side of the highway.

here they have a transfer station where you sort it out yourself while being stared at and scolded like a black kid in a candy store

then they load up the bins on trucks and go dump it in the landfill site that is about 500m down the road lmao

 

I got the sliding doors over to the area where they will be installed... Thing weighs a shit ton. Unlike that double door set I put in earlier I can't take this frame apart. So the frame and one of the doors, the one that doesn't open, is all one section. I built the framing yesterday, still need to add a few cross braces at the sides and the top of the opening. Then I have to remove some of the old windows and try to get this thing through the opening so I can set it in the new framing.

The new doors are being installed flush with the outside wall, the old doors were (still are) at the end of a small alcove. I will be working inside this alcove until the new doors are in place and be removing all that stuff after the fact. I've no other way to keep this area closed if I can't finish it today. That whole alcove is going away once the new doors are finished as that is where the sunroom/greenhouse is going to be built.

 

going to my buddies in a few to try and get that camper floor cut into manageble pieces

amazing how much work it is to wreck a 30 foot trailer down to the metal
