I'm a member of "Roots action team",an online campaign that petitions for social justice.I recently got an email from them asking me to sign a petition to get Amazon to desist from signing a 600 million dollar deal with the CIA to provide information on its customers.It just so happens that I also buy regularly from Amazon.It left me wondering if I sign the petition will I go on some activist watch list or something,or come to the attention of the authorities in some way? The interconnectedness and circulatory of the internet freaks me out sometimes...

 

amazon wants your money...they already know that if you choose to you could stop them from tracking...that is secondary...they want the purchases first and foremost

unless you are buying really against the law things....i'm guessing you do not

my daughter was a member of ''earth roots'....when she was 15 yrs old ,she and 11 others set out at 2am to hike through several kilometers of ontarios last remaining old growth forest.......

the destination was a remote logging camp in the forest.





.my daughter was 15 so the woman leader of the group kept her close and only the 2 of them succeeded in out witting the security out of the original 11.....

......they chained themselves to equipment in protest.....it took the Ontario provincial police 6 hours to cut through the special devices where they arrested my daughter and charged her.it was all over the news back then

I had to drive up to temagami to get her out 0f jail....it was a proud day

No energy today, probably means an arthritis flare-up is on its way.

I've started taking celebrex and it seems to work really well, but it also seems to have more side effects than most NSAIDs, so I'll have to decide if it is worth it or not.

Thinking about just staying home and missing a couple of classes today. I know that I shouldn't, but when I have no energy, I take nothing away from them anyway.

Has anyone here tried celebrex before?

damn and i thought i got arthritis at a young age...

 

i got into an argument with someone on HF years ago about bobby mcferrin. this person INSISTED that the limewire label was correct (HA!) and that Dont Worry, Be Happy was a bob marley song. ummm, no. i cant find the thread though, it must be way back.

 

i had celebrex once. and it amped me up nervously, ringing in my ear. hallucinations, paranoia, agitation, anxiety, went to hospital to get calm, was told celebrex wouldnt cause that. then that become a problem. I took one those blue heart monitor things on those poles and smashed it on the wall. Then I was sedated and taken off it..

 

i hate that. doctors tell you something cant be the cause, nope, its not in the book, patient must be wrong. my mom gets crazy on percocets and vicodins (only takes those kind of things if she HAS to) instead of melting into the couch, she tears stuff apart cleaning. not a good way to keep her still after a surgery. it took years to get them to listen and prescribe her something different.

different people are different. we can not all react exactly the same way to every drug.
