In other news the police chief knocked on my door. Had no idea why my biggest problem is keeping the grass cut but it was good now and everything else is in order.
he asks if i have two gold naked neck chickens. I said yeah.
He says he likes them and had complaints that he ignored. But now he has had too many complaints that he had to do something so he gave me a paper with the law that showed that having chickens in town are ilegal.
the only part that pisses me off is that whoever complained didnt have the balls to come over and tell me themself that they had a problem with them.

i have this friend that always rushes into buying cars as soon as his old one breaks

he ALWAYS ends up regretting it because he doesnt shop around much and just buys the first thing he "thinks" is a good deal

not allowed livestock here either in any residential zone unless it is special rural residential

 

some cities here allow chickens, but not all. some also allow pygmy/ dwarf goats (denver allows both, with limits)

my city does not currently allow chickens. i can have bees though. i want to get gardens established first anyway. then all the people will stop, and ask how my garden grows, and i will give them extra vegetables, and then i will start talking to them about chickens. and then they will come to me to sign a petition. and i can talk them all into gardening, and going to talk to city council with me, and the extra food can be shared, and suddenly a section of my city will be healthier, better connected, and have more money in their pockets from not spending it on overpriced vegetables and fruits from halfway around the world.

oh, sorry, i think i was fantasizing out loud.

The person who complained i am pretty sure is the ex mayor. I dont know how much someone would risk a cushy job for a couple birds.

I am not a big NASCAR fan but I do know who this guy is. He ran over the guy and knowing how hot headed race car drivers are it seems to me he meant to gun his car and be aggressive and ended up hitting him. I saw the video of this online and it is something I can not unsee. I could tell the guy was dead right away.
