went grocery shopping, its raining cats and dogs. do you know where that phrase comes from? the days of thatched roofing. mice would live in the straw roofs (rooves?) and cats and dogs would walk around on the roof to catch and eat them. but when it rains is gets slick fast, and all the cats and dogs slide off the roof!
