I want to know how to get to my own profile without having to find one of my posts and clicking on my name.

If I click on my name at the top of the screen I just get a pop up that says "What's on your mind?" I would like to tell it what is on my mind but I might get banned.

Also I can't find my personal messages. I sent one to Ty last night and I know he responded but I can't find it on my page.

Back to the workshop.

 

Click your avatar on that "what's on your mind" box. There's also a "view profile" among other options buried under "what's on your mind" that are in a font almost impossible to read because of the background colors.

Just for the record, this is the 5th attempt to post a single thing this morning.

Last night, I think the only reason it accepted my post was because I used a quote in it. Every single time I've tried again, I get the rectangle saying ERROR bla bla bla.

Then I thought (quite mistakenly) that I logged out, since I clicked the log out button about 5 times until it appeared I wasn't "on" here.

Then here I come back this morning with dang snappin roofers pounding away only to find I'm STILL LOGGED IN. WTH?!?

OK, this stupid ass thing showed I edited the above, but it shows NO editing that I DID.

I said to Ori's statement - "Do you PROMISE?"

Also, how in the hell do I log out except to click sign out. Am I not saying the right magical words as I hit the secret keys? :banghead:

 

lynn. I had to delete my cookies from the previous site. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. but it worked for me. a few glitches here and there .. Im surprised its working as well as it is...
go around the site and explore: where your profile is and how to open and close this and that.

Dont worry about the edits and quote stuff. these are cross talking because the system is fresh and new, the pathways are not 100% perfect. it will not do that forever.

 

It just takes a little getting used too....

I don't know HOW to delete cookies. Everytime I WAS able to log out, it would always say "all cookies deleted". I also figured out to get this to let me post...by not "previewing" (looking at More Reply Options" but just by jumping in there with the Post button.

For now, I hope I'm saying what I want, because I dang sure haven't got the edit function down.

For the record, I USED to use that edit function a lot.

Looks like we have no more rep and I finally built mine up thanks to all who repped me ..LOL

 

Mostly orison gave me rep every chance he could :grouphug: orison was the most unselfish with passing rep around...

 

I hope the rep system goes away. by reading the site it seems a lot of people feel that way.

all it does is create tension between members.

 

I'm having a hard time getting to the last page of this thread each time I go somewhere else ...
