I'm really starting to get the hang of English in my pool game. That's a fancy word for side spin on the cue ball. I was okay at mid range shots and I've learned that on full distance hard hit shot the cue ball generally comes back left if I punch it right but was always my short game I didn't get it. Well I'm getting there now. Just need to adjust the aim by about 2-3mm and slightly stun shot on the side. If I use left english then the ball will immediately push right, but coming off a rail it will really take a sharp left turn so this is going to be fantastic in my positioning game.

 

So cold to go and get groceries .

Starting to thaw out and eat what I have stored in the freezer.

same here....high winds all night...I have a 70 foot maple tree that stands alone out front and it was creaking very loud last night....I was worried about it falling on the van but I have no where else to park in this snow....seems to have calmed down a little

OTTAWA—Joshua Boyle, the Canadian man who was held hostage with his American wife and children for five years in Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been arrested and charged with assault, unlawful confinement and other offences that are alleged to have occurred in the weeks since his dramatic rescue from captivity in October.

Boyle, 34, appeared in Ottawa court on New Year’s Day and remains in police custody.

There is a court order that prevents publication of information that would identify any of the alleged victims.

Boyle faces 15 charges, according to a court document outlining the allegations.

These include:Eight counts of assault;
Two counts of sexual assault;

  Two counts of unlawful confinement;

One count of uttering death threats;
One count of causing someone to “take a noxious thing, namely Trazodone;” and
One count of misleading police

I just got physically excited by my pool practice just now.

I went in aware I wasn't wearing my right eye contact lens but I managed to say straight through that now as I've had problems with my eyes as they both fight to be dominant so I've learn to put the cue dead centre of my chin and look down the barrel with both eyes. And I didn't even realise I didn't have the lens in. Not to mention how accurate I was just now my English was getting really good and I actually felt excited. So I quickly stopped after that frame.

I may have actually reached my next level of information and processing that information as I play.
