today is going to be big-clean for me too. set my tea to steep and did some dishes. drinking my tea and doing computer stuff for a break, and then ill start a load of laundry, and do more dishes. and maybe fight the paper monster. i dont know, im just not in a slaying mood.

i need some denim overalls, i used to have a few pairs. all the ones i still have are too tight (from back when my hips could squeeze into a 6/7) or are ones i made, in fleece or fake fur. those are some comfy-ass pants. but not good for gardening. and i really need gardening shoes. my sneakers are falling apart, and they arent supportive enough for digging or squatting. or maybe im just weak and need stronger toes and ankles.

its supposed to be around 70* today, a little warmer tomorrow. i use accuweather, and check WeatherUnderground. accuweather sometimes changes a few days out, but they are more reliable than local weather.

edit to add- what a dick tow truck driver. it is a good side effect of digital cameras though, could you imagine having to go and get them developed to be a threat, and what if they didnt come out right? lol. im getting old. now you take a pic, take a video, and its checkable and shareable immediately.

i have often thought that it would be a better world if people just behaved, if they were accountable to themselves. people should try to do the right thing even when cameras arent rolling.

Thanks for the laugh. I must have missed that the first time you posted. I tried to rep you but I need to spread reps around again.

So far today it has rained. They said it would be snow. If it were snow we would have a few inches on the ground so I am fine with the rain.

It is a good thing that Grace does not mind getting wet on her walks. She will need to go out in an hour or so.

Why'd you leave!? You could have gotten me free tickets ;) lol

I ripped my snowboard pants last time I went, I can't afford new ones right now so I got my girlfriend to sew them up for me...

There's no crotch region now  this is going to be the most awkwardly weird feeling day... They feel like girl pants, i'm wondering if she sewed them to her size or something :D

that is a very nice "sum up"
    im north of you.
i think its "coloradoan" but i always write "coloradan" because it looks better to me. im a native new yorker.

ortus- when you tear cloth it weakens the area along the tear. depending on the type of cloth and the direction of the tear, and whether it was along a seam in the first place, almost all repairs will be tighter. sometimes regular men's pants seams will have a bit of extra so that they can be repaired, but probably not snow pants. my dad and brother are always busting the seams in their pants.

of course, if you sewed your own pants, you would know exactly why they are tight now.

Long island. born at stony brook university hospital.

i miss NY, i miss VA, but i L-O-V-E it here. i feel pressed against the earth and sky, the exceptionally rich blue sky. ive been back to sea level, and it just feels gloomy. its bright and vibrant and harsh here. lovely.
