car stuff stresses me out so much... I wish I had enough money to buy a car that doesn't suck bawls... i'm still driving this oldsmobile, slowly trying to fix my broken down civic i still have... I figured out how to get the engine codes without a scanner, but I don't know what the codes mean so...

meh, nothing serious but i'm just sick of driving it... it is sooo bad on gas for some reason, something has to be wrong with it cause no car can be thaat bad on gas... and like.. i'll get home, see that I have a little over a quarter tank, shut my car off.... I go to leave for work the next morning, and i'm like right above E so now i'm late for work cause I have to get to a gas station before I run out of gas... so either somebody is siphoning my gas or somethings wrong

And there is no music whatsoever... I can't take it anymore... The CD player is jammed, the radio is all static all the time, there's even a caset player? Even if I had tapes.. guess what.. it's also jammed... there is no aux, no nothing.. I NEED music to drive, you know how shitty it is listening to music through your phone speakers while driving?

and it's ugly as hell... all my friends are rich assholes with 2013/2014 cars, all sooo nice... then I pull up in my 1993 oldsmobile tornado :rofl:

my oldsmobile actually might be a '92 I don't even remember now to be honest... alls I know is, it's older than me... one should not be driving a car that is older than you..

BBAD, I have a '93 honda civic hatchback, engine light comes and goes at random, I get error codes 7 and 9, does this mean anything to you? I try to google it and I get nothing that makes sense to me

 

7 TP Sensor (Throttle Position) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
9 CYP Sensor (Cylinder) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* invalid code for throttle body injection Hondas
** invalid code for V6 engines

 

you could also buy a speaker to hook up to your phone...

 

Yup, i'm confused what does that mean? Just some bad sensors then? That sounds cheap to fix, right?

The car sometimes shakes pretty bad while idling, it finally lost most of it's power while I was driving and was engulfed in a cloud of smoke coming from my exhaust... it also sounded really bad when this happened, kinda rattly... I parked it and left it overnight, drove it home the next morning and it was fine, this was a couple months ago and i haven't driven it since..

Could those two things cause all that? Or does it sound like there's a few more different issues?

 

it means check your throttle position sensor with a scan tool or just go ahead and change it...its cheap anyway

other one code nine usually means distributor problems on a honda...swap in a used distributor...

I literally just found out my best friend got hit by a semi-truck... He made a bad u-turn... He's okay, his car is literally destroyed though... He sent me a pic, I don't even know how he's alive never mind okay! Kinda funny how we both had the exact same accident, except I got hit by a big u-haul type of truck, not a semi-truck

guarantee my other friends car will be totaled by the end of the year too, he's a stupid driver.. he almost got 4 of us killed last week because he didn't want to wait for the train...
