I remember seeing my Dad's bill when they flew him to Columbus for his pacemaker. They proceeded to make him wait two more days before they operated and put it in. Even with his health insurance that particular bill was stunning.

Glad you are feeling better Orison.

she stops breathing......she was fighting for air the first time she was stung while I rushed her to the doggie hospital and it was only like a mile and half away ....soo yah I keep a close eye on her when she is outside , the vet said that if she is stung again that it will hit her quicker than the first time I have less time to get her to the hospital, that is why I need the epi pen it buys me more time to get her to the hospital.

I remember driving in a mad rush to the hospital not even worrying how fast I was going or how many laws I broke getting there and running through the doors with her in my arms and as soon as the nurse took her from me I burst into tears...
that was day I found out she was in shock and allergic to bees

you make my life better. dont rush it. i do know how you feel though, i wont fight death when it comes. my life is tainted. the joys are minuscule. death will be a release from the pain and the nightmares and the terror. but i wont rush it, and you shouldnt either.
i would miss you so painfully, we have had the discussion before. doesnt need to be rehashed, but still holds true. my death-clock says 82. its not unreasonable, lots of people in my family, even way way back, lived well into their 70's and 80's. you wouldnt want to leave me to that many years of crushing pain whenever i saw a squirrel. i would never be able to leave my house.
did they say what caused your heart problem? is it cholesterol/ plaque build-up? if so, i have read that hawthorn can be used to slowly dissolve build up, without knocking loose embolism causing chunks.

i love you orison. you are special and precious to me. dont go breaking my heart, its barely taped together as it is [IMG]

Im not necessarily rushing. just not going to give myself into getting care and treatments i dont need so some doctors can afford to live better than I .. as well, Im going to die regardless. thanks for the kind words.
